Yeah this shit is hardcore.
The drummer is the legendary Gar Samuelson, he was a precise, fast, groovy and technical drummer who played Jazz before joining Megadeth. He and the guitarist on this song were kicked out in 1987 for selling the band's gear for heroin. He unfortunately died in 1999 i believe from Liver Failure because of his drug use. RIP to the greatest.

After Megadeth's first album, when their 2nd "Peace Sells......" came out critics and other bands said, okay, maybe they're onto something.
I remember first time hearing this masterpiece! Dude, absolutely savage feeling! What a brutal and wonderful track! I was with my jaw like this😮😮😮
One of the best Thrash albums ever made!!! This album is all about metaphors. Who's slaughtering? Who's in charge? Or it could be about the Black Friday massacre in '78 in Iran....I don't know

Chris Poland at his best. Megadeth was never the same after he left. Dave Mustaine even admitted that Chris played circles around him.
Megadeth was their best on rust in piece. That’s their best album. Marty friedman took over and made some of their most iconic solos. Poland was great but Marty was insane. All their albums pre cryptic writings
@@webechubbin Marty could never play the Poland guitar parts properly at any point, the closest one who could was Jeff Young. They had lost the punk and jazz influence that made Megadeth unique after Rust in Piece. It wasn't until Poland came back for The System Has Failed that it sounded like vintage Megadeth again, after a string of subpar albums.

When we (my homies and I) went to this show, there were big tarps on the equipment and 1 direct strobe light on MegaDave and low light. The roof about blew off the Roselands and The Ritz -- he played both in NYC. Imp 52 now and very happy I was there to experience it all live.. total craziness

As for suggestions: Megadeth - Dystopia off their Grammy Award Winning album Dystopia. I mean, I'm a lifelong Megadeth fan who has seen them live tons of times and that song still gives me the stank face. It's that good.
