I made a video about how to put a Fisher Plow on your truck the other day so this is just a follow up to that video on now how to take the plow off your truck.
I had to get a floor jack and block of wood to get my pins to line up... When I took plow off I wasn't on level ground. With a little tweaking here and there, the plow can be installed on uneven ground if you didn't watch his video first. Great video and information wish I would of seen before I disconnected the plow on uneven ground.
Before driving your truck out of the lowergear, take the slack out of the chain so that one side is tight. Your headgear will stay in postion and ready for you to drive into next time. You shouldn't need the cement block.
Just had my plow serviced.do you know what would cause, while in float,my plow head that’s attached to the chain not to go down.i can’t even push it down.it has to be banged down?thanks
Love watching your channel alot every day i am getting a plow truck for next year what setup do i go with boss v plow or Fisher plow because i own a lawn care business
How do u like the fisher plow . And how do 1500 Handle is no plow I've seen the Western ones . How is the in Comparison I've used Boss plow I don't like them
I wouldn't see why not. They do make some lighter duty ones though as well. I'm sure your local dealer could direct you to exactly the right one for your truck. Best of luck!
Thank you . Just got the V plow and was unable to take off truck . Appreciate this video
Glad it helped a little!
Thank you. First timer and this helped me get the plow off quickly and painlessly. Thanks.

If you have a dealer that you like and treats you fairly than that is the one to consider for sure.
Just put a scrap piece of 2x4 between stand and A frame to prevent upright from tipping over when plow is off truck the block method is cumbersome
Thank you
😊

I have had no issues with my Fisher plow. I'm not sure about Boss as I have never used one. Best of luck to you!
