Im going to Sephora to go pick up all of this now. My skin has gotten so bad over the last few months and I have no clue what's going on. normally get the Clinique acne kit and that does clear me up, but after her review on that I said let me try something different. I hope once my acne wounds are healed then I can start going for microneedling to help clear up the dark spots faster.

Hello Dr v! I’m 19 with dry acne, PIH, PIE and scars from them, closed comedones and larg pores from them. I have used your daily range products, am gel moisturizer(pills for me) and hyperpigmentation kit but they have gotten pricy for me, right now I use your PM gel moisturizer and prescription azelaic acid gel 15% with my Cetaphil moisturizer. I will be on a trip soon in a very sunny and heated country and was looking for products worth the money, compacted with ingredients for hydration to restore my skin health. It’s dull and dry which makes my PIH look worse. I’ve found Makeup Re-Wined Transforming Jelly Oil Cleanser, great barrier relief kravebeauty. I’ve used paulas choice omega serum but it’s tiny and pricy. If not anything good I’ll take your cera pep with me with whatever you recommend! I’ll be getting your collagen and I also think I should lay off the actives on my trip and only use hypochlorous acid spray unless I can find a good vitamin c that doesn’t pill. I’ve come a long way thanks to you! Really appreciate you Dr wish you the best!

Dr. V one acne on my forehead keeps coming back on the same area for months now. It has no head and just goes away in few weeks every time leaving a new dark spot. I’ve been using Paula’s Choice benzoyl peroxide and their salicylic acid. I use derma co sunscreen in the day. I’ve tried inky list Retinol and Paula’s choice Retinol + backuchiol. Nothing is helping with this one acne. Please help 🙏🏻

I wonder why you don't recommend Azelaic acid? It's great for hyperpigmentation acne and rosacea and the ordinary does have a Azelaic acid serum. Not a very elegant one but still very effective.
Hi Dr V. is The Derma Co 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen Aqua Ultra Light Gel with SPF 50 PA++++ a good alternative sunscreen for oily acne prone skin?
NO!!!!.... it contains old gen filters which my oily acne prone skin doesn't like,they broke my skin like hellllll right after 1st use be it from any brand available in India. I would suggest you for any mineral based sunscreen (one from derma co. with PA+++) or you can try Foxtale's GLow sunscreen with new gen filters. HOPE THIS HELPS
