he ran back a punt or kick for a td in that game....i forget which one, but he was fine for that game.
@@randallfloyd4476 this wasn’t a real Prime Deion Sanders. The previous 7 years before this Deion was 1st team all pro outside of 1995 and that’s only cause he had injuries and only played 9 games. This year Deion was second team all pro and he won that award off of his career achievements. Deion was drafted in 1989 he already played 11 years. This was Deion last year on the Cowboys.
He dealt with turf toe at the end of 98'. Got it fixed in the off season. He wasn't hurt in this game. He just lost a step.
Honestly this was coming off Turf Toe Prime....you know how long you gotta great and be untested to just sit flat footed on a go route not even worried if the ball will come your way 😂😂😂😂Prime does
He took a vacation on the play.
Good to hear big john's voice again and not on a video game..and dieon was hurt and like 97 yrs old goin against the essence of youthful exuberance.
Like watching Kobe's last 3yrs with the Lakers. His last year was absolutely brutal but it was an award tour
Like him or hate Deion Sanders was a Class Act. The way he went over to help up Wilkins after the hit. He's also the greatest defensive back to ever play the game. I miss Madden and Summerall
Deion is the best, but I remember this game. Hunter Smith caught him from behind on a punt return I believe, and Deion wasn’t the same since. Might not have been the reason, but might’ve done something to his psyche. No punter should ever hawk Deion.
Deion started celebrating. It's not like Hunter Smith legit hawked him.
@@supersexysega true.
The title should of read “the game Dion got burned” !!! Lol 😂 😂
Glad to see that even Dion had a bad game occasionally.
Watch the documentary on him a few months back and he was just flat out amazing through most of his career even after he retired took several years off came back didn't lose a step played offense and defense also ran kickoffs and punts back.
Who is Dion? Ah, must be his cousin.
he was hurt
yup.... when injured
Dion must have been hurt or gotten paid because I've never seen him lack effort like that
3:02 summeral said td before Harrison even caught it he just knew wasn't being dropped lol. man I miss him and madden now we're stuck with buck
got to ask Deion what happen this game wikins was basically routing him
Manning 13 TDs, 8 INTs and nothing but good things to say about him from the commentators. That was a different era.
ong if that was a statline now it wouldn’t be too positive
Yeah back then you had to earn your points nowadays it’s damn near flag football where WRs don’t get touched
Yea fax 13 and 8 picks that early 8 of em that early in season 😂😂😂
I was gonna say if this was manning rookie year but I guess it was his 2nd? if a 1st round qb had that stats now they'd be calling him a bust.
Even Prime had a bad day now and then. I sure miss those 21 reasons!
Deion was nearing the end of his "prime" when this game took place.
He had a turf toe
And this was no where near peytons prime
Na. He was just really banged up
no disrespect. but gtfoh. if prime time had returned int's for touchdowns u would be praising him instead. he got cooked. happens to the best of them.😁
@@killakangz5317 but he wouldn't have returned anything. He was 50% here. You can SEE him limping.
So legendary
You can tell that Prime was playing with a bad foot by the way he was running and turning. 🦶
That gave them confidence to try him.
No excuses Peyton can messed up cornerbacks if he wanted to
@@tjohnnyf7100 Sure!
Ask Ed Reed! 🙄
Man I miss madden voice on tv in the games
This was deons last year w Cowboys. Past his prime. This was the year he started to decline with injuries. I think it was his 10th year in the league.
it started the previous year, when he hurt the toe in az
He's easily a once in a lifetime player, but at the same time... The legend of PrimeTime is more potent than the gameplay of Deion Sanders
Indeed, he would regularly get burned by top QBs
Nonsense
@@mac_-mtlmcal shut up
I have never seen Deion exposed like that… never. But doesn’t matter. Still the best
Played with a pulled hamstring I remember this one
why would sanders bite on play action when he had no desire to tackle a running back?
You must be mistaken.
Deion don't miss tackles. Deion tackles like a mlb when he wanted too. Deion played YEARS find one clip showing deion missing tackles
@@andersonwinston5361 not missing...."avoiding" is more like it.
I remember watching this game!
That wasn’t a good day for prime. But it wasn’t too many of those days
This was toward the end of his first retirement. He wasn’t the same player.
That's blown coverage by the safety on the touchdown they were in cover 2 deion was sitting
I miss John and Pat. Damn. Didn’t realize how fortunate I was at the time. That’s how life is.
Wish more qbs would do this like how Allen went after Ramsey. Obviously you take what you can get but when you're working a corner like that you gotta think eventually you'll get a play.
Also when Deion played for the Ravens number 88 flew by him then too.
Deion was never the same after that Punt Return that day.. He had a bad hamstring and his big toe was bothering him which eventually he broke against Cardinals
Wrong year 👍
Is this the same game where Larry Allen had that crazy dominant drive?
Ive played at the old stadium a few times.
That face mask penalty was scary. It’s like Deion wanted to break his neck
Deion didn’t know how to tackle. Didn’t know how to wrap his arms, always looked afraid of injury.
Hes CLEALRY injured...from the 1st play you can tell he's moving gingerly
Looked like his hamstring was bothering him. Should've been out of the game.
That's how he walks. :)
Deion getting merked
The Goat in defense is Lawrence Taylor
Oh how I miss the Manning led colts.. first African American coach to win the Superbowl. Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Edge James, Dallas Clark, Dwight freeney, Bob Smith (he's was the Ray Lewis for them in his leadership) I was just a kid but those were my heroes
What this video teaches is that Defensive Players play in a scheme not free lancing, so a Corner like Richard Shermer played as the defense asked him to just like the greatest cover corner ever played the way his defense asked him to.
GOAT!!!
Manning!!!
Is this the halloween game? I recall them losing to the colts on that day.
I think you would do wonders if you didn't try so hard to sell your thumbnails with the picked on titles
Deon was thrown at at least 10 times with 0 tackles. Dude never even got his jersey dirty his whole career. Love the guy though. He was definitely fun to watch.
Between the foot and hamstring you can tell he didnt have any burst
audio normalization = the difference between thousands of subscribers and millions... why? nothing makes a person run from the subscribe button faster than having to turn down their audio when the music kicks in because they had to crank it all the way up just to hear the content audio.
Edgerrin James brought A LOT to this game as well.
