Cris Carter was a master at moving the chains. So many clutch 3rd down grabs. His intensity and attitude were great for a young Randy Moss to learn from as well...

Anyway, out of all of the QBs I've seen, in the stands you could certainly tell he had an arm. It was like he was barely trying and the ball just zipped out of his hands. Favre and Elway had amazing arms too, but they looked like they were trying to throw it hard. George (especially compared to Garrett that day) looked so effortless when he threw. Best arm I've seen live
Deion was faking the injury. No way would he have gone out there to return punts if he had a bad hamstring. He was always aware of his image as the fastest man. He set himself up with an excuse should Randy Moss have beaten him to the end zone, and thus tarnished his image.

Cris Carter was imho the best at his craft. During his days in the NFL receivers took multiple hits, face masks, collars, punches, getting hit after tackles and concussions for going near the middle. Often times defenders would pull, hold, grab, and or hit before ball made contact with Cris. You know what, Cris would amaze you, he would find a way to come up with the ball. I wasn’t a Minnesota fan but I sure was a Cris Carter fan. I salute him for his discipline and dedication to the game and his position. What makes this more remarkable is Cris’s background of having nothing but a really nice mom. Thank you Cris Carter, I enjoyed watching you play!

I remember in the Army Late 1998, I saw this game Game center bar before being shipped to Bosnia the following day. How fast did 20 yrs ago went.
Cris Carter was imho the best at his craft. During his days in the NFL receivers took multiple hits, face masks, collars, punches, getting hit after tackles and concussions for going near the middle. Often times defenders would pull, hold, grab, and or hit before ball made contact with Cris. You know what, Cris would amaze you, he would find a way to come up with the ball. I wasn’t a Minnesota fan but I sure was a Cris Carter fan. I salute him for his discipline and dedication to the game and his position. What makes this more remarkable is Cris’s background of having nothing but a really nice mom. Thank you Cris Carter, I enjoyed watching you play!

Most fans didn't realize how good Jeff George was as a Viking. He WON a playoff game against the Cowboys in 1999 and eventually lost to the SB Champions Rams. George was rewarded by being traded the next season. Stupid.

A fan who's a little more knowledgeable would tell you if you have a Quarterback who's proven he can win at a high level, you have to let that play out and see where it goes. You place more value in Quarterback's who can win in the playoffs. Also what the average fan couldn't see is that George had genuine chemistry with Moss and Carter.
