    The video shows 3 wires from the wall, 1 live, and the other 2 connect to each switch. But there's a 4th wire from the wall as well, which is curved inside (around 5:10 in video). Is that a live wire?
    When I open my switch box (for 2 lights), I saw 4 wires, but the color is confusing, there are 3 red and 1 blue.

    I have this Hager Stylea 3-gang switch beside the water heater 20A switch outside the common toilet. One of the buttons on this 3gang switch produced arching sound and I thought it is a good time to change to a 3gang smart switch. It is not as easy to ply out the outer cover from this Hager switch. Seem like external cover is “glue” to the switch and it is almost impossible to take out the cover. Tried for almost 2 hours but failed. Now one of the screws that hold this switch has loosened, thus removing the external cover is now harder now.
    Do you reckon It is possible to remove the plates from the switch (external cover) without damaging the plate latches?

    • @ThePunggolHandyMan
      @ThePunggolHandyMan  2 роки тому

      It might be possible that whoever installed your switch glued it on.. which is very unprofessional. Another way would to be to break away the plastic case to expose the screws

    Hello. I recently changed my living room light switches in my living room. The lights in the living room are working fine however, one of the bedroom and study hall lights are not working.
    Is it highly likely that one of the live wires are run to my living room switch also? As i noticed there are two spare wires once i closed the cover/lid.
    If yes, can i connect those two live wires or share with the existing live wires that are for my living room lights? Thank youu.

I noticed 2 of the wires were taped together. I Fixed both of these taped wires together in the same hole of L. I then fixed the remaining one brown wire into COM. Will there be any issues?
