Absolutely! Aside from the story and gameplay, it gives the players dedicated ways to get the loot they want. While BL1 is still a fantastic game, its lack of dedicated farming limits the ability to build around certain items.
Yes and no. I didn’t know most of these bosses had drops and found out about them through watching your vids. I’ve been grinding rare drops to make a collection. No because it so tedious and boring. Idk how you keep up the positive vibes after doing it after 30 mins or so.
I love when Joltz said "it's Gubbin' time" and then proceeded to Gub all over the place! Anyways, I think that dedicated farming is insanely important to the series and makes the game a lot of efficient when it comes to getting the stuff that you need.
Dedicated drop farming is what I love most about borderlands! Even in 1 I used to farm the vending machine in front of the sycthid raceway because it had a higher chance to generate legendaries... Side note I spent about 16 straight hours during the hunt one year farming saturn for a Hive. Loved every minute of it...
These hunt videos really make me feel nostalgic for some reason. QOTD: Absolutely. Having a dedicated drop makes farming items quick and efficient. It also gives certain items unique in a way.
Hey Joltz, watched your videos long time ago when i started playing bl2 on the ps3 and felt instantly in love in borderlands but only played bl2….. now many years later i bought the pandoras box and want to play every game to enjoy it and trying to get all achievements… ty for your videos, im enjoying these :)
QOTD: Dedicated farming is important in Borderlands. The reason I say this is because its always been apart of the games and its really fun to farm for specific items instead of getting only world drops like bl3.
I think Borderlands games with dedicated drops needs an option to randomly distribute dedicated drops when we create a new character. This makes the game more exciting and replayable. İmagine getting bee shield from Savage lee!!
Hey Joltz; pretty sure you get asked this a lot but how do you set up your read only farms? As for the QOTD: Yes. Dedicated farming is super important to the longevity of the series; makes hunting for specific drops super fun instead of trying to hunt through a sea of world drops for a single item.
POINTS QOTD: Absolutely. If I want a Kerblaster, it would be hell to rely on farming loot midgets to get one. I want to just be able to go to Midgemong and farm one.
Dedicated Drop farming is the reason i have as many hours in this game as i do. Its a fun loop and feels satisfying. It sometimes gets tedious sure but i will always coms back to it
I was barely able to contribute to this this year, but im glad we raised so much in total! As for the question of the day? For me it feels like its a concept that needs to stick with borderlands. Having dedicated drops just makes it so you can go back and experience bosses or enemies youve never seen. A mean an example in my case is like Rakkman in BL3, i didnt know he had a drop till recently! So that was fun to experience
Dedicated drops ARE a Borderlands game. Follow-up question: if the Hunt were an allegiance run, would it be an everything allegiance because you're a completionist, or a no allegiance run because you need to get everything?
@Joltzdude139 It says no read only farming warrior. Does that mean moonshot farming? Because you can moonshot farm with normal save quitting AND still keep the drops. Would those drops count or not?
irregardless of what the question of the day is i want to see set bonuses in bl4 like how the uhh law and sherrifs badge have interactions together in bl2
Absolutely dedicated farming is integral to the game it feels more rewarding getting the perfect grip from the dedicated source. Also it would be hilarious gearbox sent joltzdude a real life gub.
QOTD: YES! While seeing world drops and thelike is nice, nothing beats going for a dedicated drop and trying to get that perfect X piece of gear Love the hunt videos!
Every time the hunt comes around it hurts my brain that dedicated farming needed to be BEGGED for in BL3 and in Wonderlands its almost non existent Always glad to see the Hunt tho, keep up the great work Joltz
Day 329 of trying to be comment of the day QOTD: YES. Dedicated drops add reliability to farming. making planned run routes easier, better mind set when farming, and overall better for longevity of the game. I'm not saying world drops or crowded loot pools are bad, it just doesn't feel as enjoying to go for a specific item when either it can't be target farmed or its in the same loot pool as 5 other items with the same drop chance
I must have stolen Joltz’ luck for the Mongol run…was playing Minecraft while watching the stream and decided around run 50 to try my luck farming on my xbox and got this with launcher-only sal (Joltz inspired run I’ve been doing now and again)…the fact that this happened made me laugh so hard, because I thought to myself “watch as I get a story run drop”…m.ua-cam.com/video/fwModuTsHsg/v-deo.html
I think dedicated farming is important to keep parts of the game relevant… otherwise everyone would just farm bug chests areas or bosses that drop a lot and it takes away from replay ability
Just like that, luck goes bad
QOTD: Is dedicated drop farming important to you in a Borderlands game?
Yeah meta items carry lol
I'd even say it's the essence of Borderlands
No dedicated drops often means farming the same boss a million times which gets tiring fast
Absolutely! Aside from the story and gameplay, it gives the players dedicated ways to get the loot they want. While BL1 is still a fantastic game, its lack of dedicated farming limits the ability to build around certain items.
Dedicated drops were one of the favorite things in the series and hope they bring them back in bl4

Dedicated farming is what makes Borderlands such an awesome game.
"Gub all over the place" just sounds like something inappropriate
Your luck with Michael its incredible, I’ve tried so hard to get him for the achievement and you see him every episode:)))
I think it is a 10% chance for him to spawn in Sanctuary. He can spawn in 10 different locations though.
Every time I’m at sanctuary i visit Marcus and moxxie to see if he’s there, it’s kinda become a habit of mine
@@Joltzdude139 I know, for 30 or 40 minutes I went around the Sanctuary to check every spawn locations till I found him in Scouter’s garage:)))
One time i spent 2hrs just checking places b4 i found him for the trophy
also, joltz plays efficiently which has to add to a couple more save quits in sanctuary over the course of a campaign
Dedicated farming is a staple. Without it there probably wouldn’t even be a hunt
The Hunt is one of the best times of the year
I always think of Bahroo’s hive farm when fighting Saturn lmao
Dedicated drop farming is what I love most about borderlands! Even in 1 I used to farm the vending machine in front of the sycthid raceway because it had a higher chance to generate legendaries...

That brick quote will always be one of my favorites
That gub was matching grip as well lmao.

Can't wait for Kevin heart to say "it's gubbin time" in the borderlands movie
QOTD: Dedicated farming is important in Borderlands. The reason I say this is because its always been apart of the games and its really fun to farm for specific items instead of getting only world drops like bl3.
been rewatching your older series lately, and the absolute funniest coincidence is, it also took you 59 runs to get the mongol on launcher brick
I think Borderlands games with dedicated drops needs an option to randomly distribute dedicated drops when we create a new character. This makes the game more exciting and replayable. İmagine getting bee shield from Savage lee!!

Biggest amount collected in this year’s hunt. Amazing how many people still love this game.
Hopefully 4 won’t disappoint as wonderlands.
Dedicated drop farming is important since it adds a ton of replay value to the game
Keep doing your thing ❤❤ And am your biggest fan
POINTS
QOTD: Absolutely. If I want a Kerblaster, it would be hell to rely on farming loot midgets to get one. I want to just be able to go to Midgemong and farm one.
It's all about the fun adventures too that each farm offer

joltz rizzing up smash head made my day
Let’s go another video love the work have you seen the guy who imported model and textures from bl2 into bl3 bl2 Remaster????
hey dude, love your vids. Also why don't you use Control+F to find item names? :)
Dedicated drops ARE a Borderlands game.
Follow-up question: if the Hunt were an allegiance run, would it be an everything allegiance because you're a completionist, or a no allegiance run because you need to get everything?
My favorite part was when Joltz said “its gubbin time” and gubbed all over the place
Who remembers bahroo farming the hive for the hunt? It took him days to get the hive and it was the last thing he needed I believe
YEahhh JoltzDude video
always love watching the master of bl2. keep it up joltz!
It would be interesting to add a column to the spreadsheet to track the number of runs per item just to see a total number at the end.
First time watching the hunt live, its gona be cool
honest question where can I download that Excel list? 👀
Loving it so far❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
I have about 20 missions left on my op10 Mya. Over 7 days played so far, I'm going for the completionist run.
@Joltzdude139 It says no read only farming warrior. Does that mean moonshot farming? Because you can moonshot farm with normal save quitting AND still keep the drops. Would those drops count or not?
Joltz I love your video it funny and I like the jokes
If I wanted to do the hunt myself, is there a spreadsheet I could download?
Dedicated farming is most definitely important to me imagine not being able to farm a Harold every run or a sham like it’s a necessity for me tbh
i havent played in a long time what is the shotgun he is using in the beginning of the video?
irregardless of what the question of the day is i want to see set bonuses in bl4 like how the uhh law and sherrifs badge have interactions together in bl2
Good times in the hunt
Do you remember the start of bl3? If you wanted a legendary you would fight a boss to get a random drop.
I remember farming graveward for hours for random legendaries.
best part was when Joltz said "its gubbin time" and then gubbed all over the place
Alright, Joltz, if you had to survive 15 minutes against 1 raid boss in any of the Borderlands games, who are you picking?
Even with the slow farm and the one no drop, your account still has to be seeded
ive been watching you for a while and ive just started my 1st playthrough
Therapist: "Joltz kiss is not real, Joltz kiss will not hurt you"
Joltz:
Thanks for the upload joltz
No problem
I somehow heard "Black Gold" when he said "Blackhole." What would a Black Gold item even be?
At this point I feel like Joltz is using a soundboard for half of these.
now i want to know what was he talking about the black hole
Ahhh have I missed the POINTZ
Absolutely dedicated farming is integral to the game it feels more rewarding getting the perfect grip from the dedicated source. Also it would be hilarious gearbox sent joltzdude a real life gub.
QOTD: You bet it is. Wouldn’t be a Borderlands game without farming, now would it?
I hate the curse you put on me with the among sight
you should do a pearl only run on bl2
Hey joltz, i love you dude
QOTD: YES! While seeing world drops and thelike is nice, nothing beats going for a dedicated drop and trying to get that perfect X piece of gear
Love the hunt videos!
I love you😘
Nothing happened in control core(+150 Hyperion social rating)
Is it just me or would a dukino/dukino’s mom plushie could be a cool thing to exist
Any news about the new mod
Joltz how are you so lucky in bl2?
I liked the part where Joltz said “It’s Gub’in time!” And proceeded to gub all over people
Gubzerking
Yes
Every time the hunt comes around it hurts my brain that dedicated farming needed to be BEGGED for in BL3 and in Wonderlands its almost non existent
Always glad to see the Hunt tho, keep up the great work Joltz
@Joltzdude1390 bot
I have been forever cursed with the knowledge of the amougus bandit sight
next name should be pointsador
Yo Joltz what character do you recommend for bl3 starters
i cant believe the invader is a legendary but the hive isnt

I drank everything joltz said points and now I’m drunk

Where did the question of the day go?
He said it'll return in his next series
I'm mass editing the hunt videos so I can't pick daily replies from the comments.
