Today I am doing a 2023 version of how to make a glitter tumbler with epoxy from start to finish. This one is longer but hopefully it has the detail that you need to get you started on your glitter tumbler journey. Glitter tumblers can be stressful at times but enjoy the journey and think about the finished product you are working towards!

Does it matter if it’s a white tumbler? Do you prefer the aluminum?
no. a white tumbler is always a good base to start with as all colors show up on it. and yes for this application I prefer aluminum

Hello, I really enjoyed your video. Best one I've seen yet. I'm new to epoxy, I picked up some today. 😅. What is a must have when doing tumblers? How should I set up my tumblers to dry if I don't have a spinner? I did make a cup holder with a large dowel rod and pool noodle lol. And is the torch necessary? Just starting and want to spare any expenses rn.

I have tons of questions, hopefully they aren't considered dumb lol what are fish eyes? Obviously that's not a good thing, and you may not be able to show it because it seems like something we don't want, but it would be good to know what you're looking for, if possible. Also, I get the sanding part and getting things even and taking out roughness, but when your tumbler is finished, I know you can't sand forever so how do you get extra epoxy off the top/rim without breaking that seal and having to add another layer? We have to stop at some point lol
I wanted to know this too! What do you do at the very end about the top edge if anything is not quite right? Or how to you prevent it messing up on the last coat?

My interests thus far are glitter (seems the most beginner friendly) and possibly decals. Also, i have seen videos where people use a spray sealer to seal, but just use a clear coat layer. Can you speak on the difference?
