I think youre the only person you youtube who made a video showing how to wrap the wand without their disposable grips, and without making the process complicated. Thank you so much
First off thank you for supporting the channel we really do appreciate it!! 🤘🤘 And I agree this is a much more compact and easy to use system for wrapping your machine while still being able to adjust the needle depth much easier. Thanks again Lemmybe and Keep ROCKING!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
I love it! That’s exactly the issue I was running into with my machine and trying to adjust my needles in the bag! Stoked to try this with my set up! Thank you again
I feel your pain as It was driving me crazy trying to adjust my needle depth using the old way I wrapped my machine. But now I love the freedom of adjustability. I hope you enjoy it as well and as always THANK YOU for your continued support of the channel we really do appreciate it!! 🤘🤘🤘
Of every video I've seen on this subject dave, you have I believe found the best way to wrap a machine, that was impressive and you can clearly see that nothing is open to cross contamination, I will be wrapping the Q2 like this thanks dave
Also about the stencil solution. I have personally found that the stencil stuff with the spray stuff gives me a nice long lasting stencil that takes a lot of abuse and holds up well. And thank you for the great content.
Im with you so far TOM as I love stencil stuff and use it exclusively for now. Im not sure how this face off between stencil solutions will go, but whoever the winner is I will certainly start using that product first. Thanks for sharing what works for you my friend and Keep Rocking Brother!🤘🤘
Thats really awesome to hear Rogelio. God works in mysterious ways so im glad the video was able to help you out at the right time. Keep working hard and Keep Rocking!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I like this method, it is so efficient and I'm going to use it. A few days ago I was preparing my rotative machine and I faced the problem of covering all up in plastic, making it hard to adjust the needle, so I cut the plastic in half but I didn't like the efficiency of it. Thank you very much for your videos, they are really helpful 😍
HEY BROTHER sorry I have missed a few of your comments. I have been super busy. Great to hear from you Rellik I hope all is going well for you and your gaming stream. Keep working at it brother you got this. Stay safe and Keep Rocking my friend!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Bishop makes some amazing grips for the wand line and I can recommend them enough. I personally run the 2" they are simple and feel amazing in the hand.
I have yet to try the disposable grips but its great to hear that your using them and REALY like them. I think I may have to pick some up and give them a go. Thank you Tom appreciate the info my friend. And thank you for watching and supporting the channel we really do appreciate it!! 🤘🤘
I’ve considered this type of setup, but I’m not into the barrier gap between the grip and the body. I’ll try a variation using part of the clip cord sleeve instead of barrier film so that it’s a tube within a tube. Sorta like a corn dog made of plastic sheeting. Stay Gold!
There is no gap because the clipcordsleeve goes down further than the grip goes up, also you wont be able to turn the needle size if you use clipcord sleeve on the grip because you will twist the plastic since its not sticked together
Thank you therapeutic!! Great to hear the stencil video is something you would like to see. I look forward to seeing how it goes as well and who will be the winner of this very very SCIENTIFIC study lol. Thanks again Brother and Keep Rocking my Friend!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
I dont know if I do or not. But I may have to make that video. I have one showing how I set up and break down a work station. I think I may speak briefly in that vid about how I clean my machine. But I will certainly look into getting something put together to show that process. Thank you Again Dark Eyezz!! I really do appreciate your consistent support of the channel!!! SO KEEP ROCKIGN!!🤘🤘
Thats whats up dave good stuff. I use a totally different method that i developed organically thru trial and error. Got my thermal printer from amazon yesterday! That things amazing!!! Still learning what will and wont print well but its very cool. Keep kickin ass brother! And as always thanks for yer hard work!! 🤘🤜🤛🤘
Thats awesome man great to hear you found your own method. And trial and error is usually how we figure stuff out. Congrats on the thermal printer, its a real game changer and time saver. Keep messing around with it and sooner then later you will really get comfortable with what it can do. Thanks again Dave always great to hear from you my friend!! Appreciate the support and lets KEEP ROCKING!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
I’ve did mine Almost the same way ( I just got it today!!) I just used more barrier tape to cover the battery, but I like your slit and pull over technique. I think this is a wicked proficient way to bag up. So happy to be cordless finally. As for stencil stuff, in my experience, and I’ve only tried maybe 4-5 brands over the years I’ve come to like Niko’s anchored, I like the one that feels like gel over the one that’s more soapy or thin. The gel seems to allow me use less and it sticks better. If you can handle the smell; detol is always a solid way to hold stencils down. But my co workers never like it😂
One of my biggest problems recently has been trying to twist my grip to change the needle depth while the machine has already been bagged, so I'll have to give something like this a shot. I've been using two bags for power supplies, one around the bulk of the pen with the bag folded in two (since they're basically as wide as they are long), and then another on place over top of the battery and taped around the bag on the bottom, and it works well, but turning the grip is almost impossible. I have clip cord bags that I haven't been using since switching to a battery, so I'll give this a shot
So curious to see them all, there's alot of one vs the other.....but haven't seen one that does detol vs homemade vs stencil stuff vs deodorant etc etc , good idea!
Your right there are a lot of one vs another. SO I think i have about 13 different stencil solution products to try out. Sadly I dont have the homemade stuff but everything else for the most part we will be putting to the test. I actually forgot about dettol but just ordered some right now while replying to your comment as that is a important one to put to the test as well. SO thank you for the reminder and I look forward to seeing what product will take the win. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hello SIR! I have tattoo machine from Dragonhawk with metalic grip. As a beginner use it for fake skin. Is it necessary to buy a clivan for the grip, or i can also clean it with some kind of cleaner, when i tattoo on REAL humman skin...? THANK YOU!
I do it almost exactly the same way lol except instead of barrier film on the grip I just use the rest of the clip cord sleeve but im going to try the barrier film! Seems so much easier then trying to fold the open end of the sleeve under the grip tape 😅 I used to just throw the whole machine in 1 sleeve and call it a day but I had a heck of a time adjusting depth
Hey man, is there any chance you could do a video on the process of setting everything up for a client? Like the order of when to do things such as when to wrap stuff and take gloves on and off for different things etc?
No, you shouldn’t need to auto clave the grip at the end. You could if it was an auto cleavable grip. But if you wrap it properly and disinfected properly, you should be fine.
I just started tattooing this month, can i send you some of my work to critique? I’m self teaching through youtube and a ton of your videos! Thanks for all the help!!
Where do you purchase the clip cord sleeves? I can’t find any that fit the Cheyenne sol nova without ripping them up(I’m pretty sure the bishop wand is about the same diameter).
I do almost the same only i use another machine sleeve (the smaller jet black brand or similar) and take the last 2"s of it and fold up and over and tape down the wrap with sports wrap, to were you'd still have to make a hole at the bottem where the cartridge goes. If you have a valhalla and have or know of a good way to wrap and still make adjustments id love to know or if anyone reading has a good way of doing it im all ears. Its probably the hardest machine to wrap and still be able to adjust needle depth and stroke length, it to the point I dont even enjoy using the machine that with batteries
Hi what the length of the wireless pack and bishop wand together? Thinking of getting the cnc wireless pen. Or this power supply so please tell me length. Love ur videos peace
Hi thank you for this video! I have one question I cant get the information. When you wrap your machine and the grip, do you still need to autoclave it ?, I see ppl saying its either disposable or autoclave but I've seen with my eyes MANY artist just wrapping it, is there a level of wrapping that makes it safe to just switch the wrap between clients ?
I do a complete disinfectant wipe down. But I only tattoo one client per day so its usually not a big deal. But even when im tattooing a couple smaller pieces in a day I still just play it safe and disinfect everything and start again. Hope this helps and thank you for the support!! 🤘🤘
@@ArtSomething do you Autoclave your grip between clients or do you feel like because of the grip wrapped correctly and the cartridge being sealed etc that you don’t have to autoclave the grip? Thanks so much! Great channel!
Hey man! Could you do a video on how to find the right voltage for your hand speed. I’ve been tattooing for a couple of months and my lines are uneven. I have thick spots and thin spots. I don’t know if this is a hand speed issue or a needle depth issue.
So sorry Denny I ordered a bunch of different kinds the other day but I did not get Hulk. I think we should have about 13 different products and im going to have to stop it there. Is rubbing alcohol enough or should I use something else? Had the plastic disposable ones but found it better to have steel bc of less garbage... anyway, i just want to make sure that i clean them well enough before using them again:)
Unfortunately rubbing alchol isn't enough to be completely sanitary. A autoclave is the only sure way to get all the ink, blood and possible nasty viruses out of metal tubes and tips. Autoclaves are stupid expensive and a bit annoying to use thats why most people love needle cartridges. Use needle cartridges and clean the rest with medecide wipes and spray or something like it and it will save you a lot of time and headaches.
Ok, so is this clean enough to not have to autoclave the grip? I’m using coil machines and disposables, so I don’t really know. I know there are disposable grips for pens, hence my confusion.

Dose anyone know a company or what do yall use for the bigger wireless machines?using cling wrap just looks janky af to me so trying to find a bag to fit these bigger wireless machines
I’ve got an fk irons exo and I can’t find a clip cord sleeve to fit it in the uk, I’ve seen people using sandwich bags but that just doesn’t seem sanitary to me
Bro please help me with my magline problem...needless aren't the issue...I can't get smooth shading on real skin...fake skin is fine...but on real skin...when I shade it comes out as thin lines...please help! Anyone! Love ya bro
It can be hard to answer this question without seeing some things and truly understanding what your doing. But if your looking to not have the mag marks in your shading then I would say try using a needle that is .30 as they will make less of a line due to the needles being a bit smaller in diameter. There are also smaller needles at .25 diameter, and these will make even less mag marks on the skin. However you need to be carful using smaller diameter needles as well. But without knowing exactly whats going on this would be my suggestion for you. It may not help but I thought I would try to give my best suggestions.
How you unwrapped the pen without touching it with avoiding cross contamination?.. cuz every one make videos how to wrapped but unwrapped I think it's even more important that wrapping... using plastic bags it's way more easier than those tight cable covers or go for disposable grips.. that's the best..have a good day
