Your videos have been such a big help with beginning my tattoo journey! I appreciate how thorough you are with explanations and just general care and pride in the craft! Thanks Daniel! 🧡
I believe it's way more easier and sanitized than the conventional machine wrapper, coming up with a cheaper more sanitized and easy on the hands, another educational approach Sensei
9:05 For this machine, how do you change the stroke depth without unwrapping, as it covers where the stroke depth option changer is? I have a similar Dragon hawk, where you can change the stroke depth (2.4 to 4.2) as well as needle depth by twisting two different parts.
Hey Daniel when I wrap my CNC Q 1, Q3 and Q6 machines, I use paper towel on the grip to make it more comfortable, but I like how you used the excess plastic wrap to do the same after wrapping the grip. I always learn something new when I watch your videos and I will definitely try out this new method! Thanks! 🙏poppy
He uses paper and grip tape for comfort to wrap smaller grips and machines to make it bigger and comfortable to hold, saves the tape too,but for bigger grips,a regular tape's enough, watch his older reviews on small tattoo pens
Hey man, so with these pen style pens. Do we have to dispose of the grip after each person? I’m not tattooing yet, just learning all I can. But I heard you have to swap them? With disposable grips?
Great stuff... Wanted to know how you keep it sanitized or do you rewrap all this each time you tattoo. I knew someone who did all the comfort wrap like you do and than finish it with an extra wrap of plastic wrap that can be redone each time. Instead of redoing everything each time. Is this something you do or just as you have shown?
This is a fantastic question! Each and every tattoo that I do goes through a sterilization process and a wrapping process. Allow me to explain. So when I use a machine I always wrap the machine with new materials as shown in the video, I NEVER re use anything. After every tattoo no matter how big or little, even if it was a dot goes through a sterilization process. I put it through cold sterilization first and after I autoclave the parts of the machines that I can autoclave. This is done after and in between each and every tattoo. I always consider everything contaminated so which means if we wrap 15 layers of whatever around the machine chances of there being some sort of contamination from the person before is very great ! There has to be fresh barriers and wrapping each and every time and all of the gear involved must go through extensive cleaning and sterilizing.
@@DanielYuck Thank you for the clear explanation of this. I appreciate the knowledge you have. And absolutely love how clear you are in explaining everything.
I have the Mast Flip and that has the stroke change on the top how you recommend wrapping this machine basically need to be able to adjust both grip and stroke on top.
does anyone know how sanitary this is in comparison to using barrier film or one of those machine bag things? I assume its still pretty good since it covers the machine but wanted to get input
Quick question so it's normal that some cartridges make a lot of noise? Kinda like in your video, like its scratching something. Or its bcs its bend or damage?
@@johamyoyo @russbrown4137 Yeah, he answered this above. He said he does a cold sterilization plus an autoclave and then he wraps them. Man, I just bought a pen and now I'm realizing I can't really use it on people unless I sterilize it like crazy. He has another video showing how to sterilize without the cold and autoclave equipment - it's very extensive. - it seems the best idea is just to buy a machine that has disposable grips and only use pens as practice machines.
Thank you for providing “scratchers” with safe practice info. I’m super grateful for everything I’ve learned from your videos.
Could you possibly make a video regarding the sanitation process for before, and after a tattoo?

I wonder the same thing.
Following, cause everytime I wrap my machine, when I go to adjust my needle depth my wrap get twisted up and breaks barrier

Good! how can I wrap an adjustable stroke pen? I'm still trying to figure it out since it has three parts. Thanks!
This definitely helped since I got my tattoo pen I have been trying to figure out a good way to wrap it 👍

Thank you so much, exactly what I was looking for

You got it! I been wanting to learn as well, haven’t even bought anything yet as well lol just watching and learning first
I believe thats the 1st rule, knowing and studying the ins and outs and delving into it when you feel the time is right
Not a bad idea , but on that second machine how would you wrap it so that you have access to the stroke settings?
I was thinking the same. I have wjx Maxon machine with adjustable stroke.
Thank you so much this is what I needed !

❤️ Love from india sir ... ❤️
Gonna try this method with pen bags tonight

So is this a alternative for barrier film?
I have the old foot tat machine. U have to always. Use ur foot and adjust speed. Ur pin type tat machine looks great 😁
Idk if you’ll see this comment. But when you clean your machine. Do you need to grease it or anything or just make sure it’s clean

Just starting my tattooing and im 16 yrs old ur vids are alot of help..........
#giveaway
I use a clip cord wrap on the grip. Unless I'm using my edge x then I just use disposable grips for that machine
What's the best type ?
Thank you
Do you autoclave your grips after each tattoo/customer?
i have the same question...

Heyo, honestly just curious, why do tattoo artists wrap their guns in what looks like plaster wrap/ bandage wrap?
The vibration gets annoying it acts like a barrier
Thank u that helps!!!!

none of those wraps are sanitary are they? I thought the sticky tape warp are not sanitary. That’s why they put it in bags.
