I live in a very cold place so always go to you for warm, squishy blanket patterns. I’m buying the e-book you mention in the comments right now.

Where do I find the pattern for the blanket to which you are attaching the border?😊

The link to the pattern and also the larger 2024 Afghan Club eBook are in the description box. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/textured-houndstooth-throw

Does “3 SC at the corner and 1 SC at the end of each row along the sides” mean that 4 SC go into the same corner stitch❓

I would typically only place 3 sc at each of the 4 corners, not 4 sts. You can decide what works best for you depending on the blanket you are edging. It's just about having a nice straight edge all around the 4 sides. You need extra stitches to turn each corner smoothly, so it lays flat and neat and doesn't curve up at the corners. I hope that makes sense.
