Masterful display as usual my man. I remember back when this weapon was THE go - to weapon for so many first playthroughs, especially coz it fits perfectly into so many sorcery/pyromancy builds.
Sword of Night and Flame is absolutely brilliant. Only reason i don't use it is that I'm not sure if it will go well with my Nero build (tried to make Vergil but for some reason the face and hair ended up looking like Nero). Moonveil is part of my build ofc and Carian Sword Sorceries. I wonder if in lieu of Red Queen/Force Edge, the Sword of Night and Flame could be good for my cosplay build.

I always used the golden order seal and prince of death staff, seeing that they benefit from the int/faith scaling like sonaf! But finger seal is great overall! But why the albinauric mask? Does it really help?
once you reach the required levels for this weapon. just spec into ONE of its abilities. you'll only ever really need one. me personally. i like to use the flame wave attack. Cause if ya close enough. the sword also does a hit and its buffed by not just GV and HOS. but also FGMS. (plus fire is just a good element)
I currently use it on one of my builds and really like it, only downside for me is, that I have no feeling of how far the fire attack will actually deal damage
I didn't forget it. I played 45 hours of elden ring and because of past knowledge and not understanding the renewal started a completely new character just to wield that weapon and won the game with it. DBZ style....... sorta.
an interesting build although you do realize with this setup you're putting 25% physical damage taken while wearing an armor set that's already paper thin. I'd love to see a full playthrough on this because I know whoever use this setup will get destroyed by regular mobs especially in higher level area.
Tried it on the capital for the Gold mask quest, not bad but the ash of war requires a bit of wind-up time which you don't always have while in a tight spot. The comet attack is useful for 1v1 encounters if it's not an evade happy mob but leaves you wide open against groups and the damage is not that great. Found the flame attack more useful for its wide area but you need to measure your distance or you might be interrupted. Heard it was much stronger on previous game versions but if you're gonna base your combat on spamming an ash of war you'd have a better result with something like moonveil or blasphemous. If I'm going to use a straight sword I would feel stronger with a faster, cheaper ash like square off, flaming strike or glinstone pebble to be more aggressive. I wish the dlc brings more weapons suited for fundamentalist build scaling. After that respecced to a faith focused build with a flame stitcher and sacred epee which I switch depending on the enemies around while having a seal with black flame, discus of light and rotten breath for ranged attacks.
