- In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in elden ring can survive the warrior hoarah loux (later known as Godfrey, first elden lord) in his prime.
As per usual I've enabled all damage dealt by grabs and I increased his stats and resistances while also gaving him a nice vfx that makes him look even more menacing. He now has 25k hp, 200 poise and I increased his tier scaling from 17 to 18 (elden throne area).

Gideon's plan sems to have trying to amass a huge gank squad of his various followers (Nepheli, Ensha, Henricus, the Bloodhound Knight guarding Latenna, the Omenkiller group at the Albinauric village, etc), though ironically that would have also gotten clapped by Loux's earthshaker stomps.
The point is he deduce that Marika dont want anyone to be Elden Lord, so he follow her wish, which is prevent anyone fron becoming one
Not gonna lie, when Malenia got knocked into the air for the grab attack, but then immediately recovered into Waterfowl, it was pretty damn epic

She didn’t recover. Malenia wasn’t being affected by the grabs for some reason. He tries to grab her a couple times after that to no effect too…

@@antwanmuura7091 not really, mohg also ignored hoarah's grab when he got stance broken in his Nihil^3. Malenia was in middle of recovery when Hoarah's grab connect. Unfortunate yes, but it ain't staged or nothing.
Edit: another thing that is ironically working against hoarah is that it *doesn't* take a lot for Prime Hoarah to stance break Malenia. When he was going for high damage grab, Malenia was already stance broken and his grab doesnt affect her 😂
It’s interesting how Hoarah Loux’s first loss was a follow up to the most boring fight. He must’ve been half asleep from the tediousness that is fighting Rykard and that’s why he lost to the Godskin Duo.

Real talk though, a version of Placidusax that started in their wakened teleporting second phase would be really strong.
all these "boss vs boss" videos make me really REALLY want to see a full-strength version of Placidusax. The version we get in the game is obviously a the end of his life, he's missing heads, his limbs are atrophied, he's visibly obese (compared to the other dragons' body proportions), and he's covered in open sores/wounds.
I want to see a Placidusax with all his heads, in fighting trim, able to stand and to maintain flight. I don't know how that version of Placidusax would fit into the game, because he would be effectively operating at "Major Deity" levels of ability, but I want to see it, because the "please Tarnished, just put me out of my misery" version we get in game makes me sad.

@@TechbotALPHA You know what would be absolutely epic if Fromsoft ever had the balls to do it? I mean, their engine is pretty much the same through all their games, and they reuse tons of stuff from game to game.
So why not just go crazy, and make some sort of Fromsoft fighting game. Like a Dragon Ball Z style one where it's not just a 2D plane, but more like a 3D action game. Include different versions of bosses including "prime" versions of various bosses you have to beat to unlock (or beat a single player battle story with the old corrupted version). Prime Placidusax vs. Black Dragon Kalameet or Darkeater Midir would be amazing to see. As would prime Greyol vs. Gransax.

@@KahlevN i disagree, it would diminish the games, and what the characters represent and mean within what from software and miyazaki envisioned, mindless fun is not the name of the game with from software, it can be, but it's not the intent. plus that would mean waiting more for a main-line title from them unless they employ third party and risk it being shit.
@@ShuRugal I think the loss of head can't be attributed to a weakened state, not immediatley anyway. He appears a lot like the 2 fingers when it was communing with the Greater Will and not getting an answer. It is likely Placidusax's heads were removed while serving its god to better act as the 2 fingers of its era. Just a theory ofc, but fromsoft would not have designed him that way without a reason.

Man seeing Hoarah Loux tear through both Radagon and Elden Beast like nothing really just perfectly encapsulates the entire story of this game. Namely that none of this would have had to happen if Marika wasn't Terminally Stupid.
She coulda just asked Hoarah Loux to take care of all of this and he probably woulda done it.
Gotta remember though that in lore he ain't quite as powerful as he is shown here, realistically he would lose to malenia, malekith, radagon, the elden beast, astel and a few others.
The only other character in the game that feasibly could actually kill the elden beast and all the shardbearers was malekith, they feared him for good reason.

The way Gideon makes those giant blood splatters every time Loux throws him into the pavement at mach 8 is so funny to me.
Also 3:52 Gideon up in the air with his Carian Phalanx and Scarlet Aeonia and Loux just grabs him out of the sky and slam dunks him
The fact that horah loux dunked on malenia after her scarlet rot explosion really shows you how badass he is

I knew he didn't stand a chance against Malenia but him uprooting the Scarlet Aeonia and dragging Elden Beast back to the floor made me crack up laughing.

I bet if he would've been brought back up to full hp during Melania's 2nd phase he would've won. Her 2nd phase is basically a cheat against other bosses when she should've lost
So what we can take from this is, as usual, black flame and destined death are some of the strongest abilities in the game

This fight, was sooo good. So many hilarious moments. Just the fact that he grabs them and throws them on the ground where they freak out due to not being properly coded, is hilarious.
I think Horan Loux is already in his prime.
The old age argument doesn't stand up for 2 reasons:
1) The tarnisheds don't get weaker with old age.
2) Godfrey is always depicted with white hair in the paintings.
Also we fight Horan Loux after beings like Malekith, the giants, Morgott and even some dragons and space beings!
The tarnished would in any case be fully capable of taking down Horan Loux in his prime.
I dont know if this counts but he doesnt have the grace of the erdtree anymore, maybe that was his prime

I think he was stronger than these at one point he did defeat the storm king who some say he is placidusax win the was at his prime with five or mabye four heads the paintings of him have him with four heads he could have lost his fifth head befor fighting Horah loux and also the storm king could be anther dragon we don’t now if it is stronger or weaker than placidusax but at the most it will be weaker but l believe horah loux used to be stronger

She'd need to be denied her heal, denied her second phase, denied her waterfowl dance and start the fight at half health. Then maybe godrick could hurt her, but the level difference between the two is substantial.

Hoarah Loux didn't even let Morgot soil the place with his disease, a true king protecting his throne.
Hoarah Loux running into Malenia's Scarlet Aeonia to launch her and smash her into the ground feels too lore accurate. He never moves away from you when you fight him.
Good video, although a missed opportunity not starting Hoarah Loux in his shackwave phase... Not really a "prime Hoarah Loux" if he's not in his most powerful phase
Didn't matter, didn't need it, he shredded everyone except Godskin Duo, who were lucky as they both ended with almost no HP bar left.
And Malenia he would have lost to no matter what because Malenia. Is there a single fight anywhere she has _lost_ that didn't involve the opponent going down with her? (there's a video with bosses against ten royal revenants and they wiped out everyone, Malenia was the only one who won, by mutually assured destruction).

If you guys notice. The enimies that fair the best against other bosses are ones with any attack that would normally launch the player. Because those attacks typically are many hurtboxes compiled in some sort of wave or burst that is meant to be dodged or interact with is once then we get invulnerability until we recover. Since bosses aren’t made invulnerable and don’t get the same knock up effects they are taking the damage if that stack over and over as the many hurtboxes collide with their bigger hit boxes. Example. Radahns meteor attack where he renters the arena can one shot most any boss in the game if at the right angle.
Calling him prime hoarah loux is very funny from a lore perspective because the whole point of the tarnished was to go overseas and get stronger godfrey/hoarah loux is the strongest he will ever be when we face him. Also I love seeing malenia win no matter how people try to make her lose.
shes broken obviously she will win, she has phase 2 full health. She keeps healing insanely with waterfowl dance obviously she will win.

Maliketh is up there with Malenia and has beat her as much as she beats him in their battles
@@oneofthekindscarf8612 Yeah but Maliketh has low HP, starts of at 50% and has shitty poise. He compensates it by being extremely mobile, sure. But Malenia has 31k HP and heals. So Maliketh beating her is bigger than she beating him.

one thing that would be cool to see; in the videos where one boss fights all bosses, it would be cool to see all bosses scaled at the highest tier. this way even early game bosses who have cool movesets still have a chance

I couldn't watch without laughing Hoarah wiping the floor with Rennala and grabbing Elden Beast.
Also noticed that Placi got hit with floor explosion while he already left the ground and turned into mist. :(
The floor explosion and grabs clearly did not work properly, realistically several bosses should be immune to grabs, elden beast being most notable.

the man almost in all of the video fights spam one attack and rarely use a grab against the big enemies
Those attacks are hp based, and all the bosses that got him to that level of hp killed him before he could use it

he is glitched and even his grabs which he does one hundred each fight doesn't do them as much as he usually do
instead in the whole video he spams one attack and just that and no buff can make him wins when this attack is the least damaging one he do

@@goryanadazaghal1206 and without his energy eruption AOE attacks that deal super big damage 3 times it would take longer for him to defeat bosses if not outrightlosing to them (same with his aoe shockwaves when he fall to certain hp level). Without destined death malekith would have a hard time defeating other bosses.
Edit: without their fat rolling which deal continuous damage, the noble would not survive defeating the previous video's fight. Without blackflame they wouldnt kill hoarah in this one as well.
Point is that these shit are central to the bosses. They are the package deal. It's like saying that moses can't do shit without his stick or that Jesus was nothing without his divine power. Is that true? Of course it does, but what's the point?

My boy had good RNG and I'm proud of him for at least not being a pushover like in most fights where he just gets stance broken 10 times.
