Bought this tool on amazon. Never changed a steer tire in my life and thought to learn to change them as a O/O. And this thing works! Just takes patience and read the instructions and its pretty simple.
After you pull the first bead over , place a 4x4x4 wood block under the sidewall . This will hold the lower bead up so the tool easily grabs the lower bead .
Thanks for sharing, broke down two steer tires couple months ago for the first time with just the spoons, hurt my shoulder really bad, so am going to try this tool out now that the steers need to be flipped, hoping this tool will be easier on my shoulder joints.
@@57bagre You shouldn't have to take any wheel to a tire shop. Cheap tire irons and proper technique is all that is needed. If you use too much muscle, you are doing it wrong.
Would this work on an 18” tire? The smaller one looks like it might work but the big one looks too big. Idk why they don’t make a smaller one for people who are tired of going to tire shops
No because .5" tires that these tools are designed for are set on a tapered bead. These type of tools won't work on a flat bead. However, standard 24" tire irons are $8 from Harbor Freight, which will do the job. I have a Vevor slide hammer bead breaker which works on pretty much any tire. Very similar to the Ken-tool I use at work
Before dismounting the second bead place a 4X4X4 wooden block underneath the tire side wall . It will keep the bead in place so the tool grabs the bead .
Anyone use this on regular truck tires? Trying to find something portable i can also store in the rafters of my little shop to replace my harbor freight tire changer
I do this for my job, blow outs on the motorway to building site machinery I use a sledgehammer a piece of angle iron and levers and plenty of lube, an air bead blaster is essential.
Well, if we were, (all about made in America) we wouldn't have much to come home to since there isn't much made here anymore. Besides Vevor gave this to me to do the video. Thanks for commenting.
If I was working in the trucking industry and owned my own business, I would probably invest in a pneumatic or electric tire machine to save time and labor.
Don't ever call yourself a dumb truckdriver. If trucking stops, America stops. Everyone, and I mean everyone depends on trucks and truckdrivers every day.

I hope this video was helpful.
I was forced buying this when my friend quit doing tire and now I'm on my own. Learned pretty quickly

Good idea. Thanks.

It was awesome to hear someone use the same phrase as I do😊.. "I'm just a dumb truck driver"
Haha. I thought he said dump truck driver. Now I’m a dumb truck driver.
Dumb truck drivers keep the world in goods movement, essential workers they are.
I appreciate the demo. I wish that tool set would work for smaller diameter pickup truck wheels.
I still have to take mine to a tire shop.

They make one thats universal that does from a 17.5 up to a 24.5
I just a low pro 15 gal oil drain pan from them and it was cheaper directly from their website than amazon. And really fast shipping had it in 3days
As long as it does the job and lasts a while, then it's a great deal!
Esa llanta la abría montado ase rato
Truck tires go on and off the inside of the rim, car and pickup rims come off and on the outside of the rim
it seems like a good tool at a low Price that's what your looking for thanks for the Review
I think so. Thanks for watching.
I appreciate your review
Thank you sir.
Do you think it will work on a 16" truck tire?
No it will not do small truck or car tires. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Thanks Gordon , cheers

That company must stamp their name on everything!
They do have a big selection of tools in a number of industries but not so much for daily professional application
I have one of their Tig welders & it's taking a beating & still working good for almost 2 years now.
Apa boleh di kirim ke Indonesia? Berapa harganya? Saya suka alat nya.
Excellent Video thank you.
Thank you sir.
Thanks for the review.
Thanks for watching Bill.
Good idea 💖💖💖
Verry good
I thought Truckers was all about made in America. Vevor is a China based company. Probably a copy of some American style, Hints the cheaper price. 🇺🇸

Nice work Gordon. I may pickup one of these tools.
I think you'll like it.

It would be nice if trucking stopped for at least a month. It’ll thin out the herd
You can be useful AND dumb. Hehe
Mujhe Ye Chahiye
They got the same tool at harbor freight for 100
Looks like something Harbor Freight should be selling by now.
Thanks for watching sir.
I wish they made something to change riding mower tires that easy.
They can be a challenge.
Thanks Men💪🍻🍻🍻😉

Wheel NOT a rim
Taking it off the rim
@@aztecfighter5 it's a wheel not a rim. Wheels are held on by lug nuts and a rim has clamps
In China 🇨🇳 you will get it for $20 dollars even less 😂😂😂
