- Hello! because i care for you and i know that you have been longing to visit Vietnam. Here are my favorite apps, that is widely used here nationwide. From apps required by government during pandemic, transportation, tours, hotel and accommodation apps i share it in this video. Thank you for the video. For the Grab food delivery or Grab car ride I assume I can use credit card to pay? No difference in terms of using cash vs credit card? For the grab food delivery I just need to pay the total no need to pay extra for tips? Thanks
Yes correct! you can used debit/credit card. If your card is local Vietnamese bank, there are rewards or cashback of course, but mainly there's no price diff paying cash or card. you may give a tip, it's up to u but it not that usual in VN.

Next year I'll go to Vietnam as an exchange student and I have a choice to choose USSH in Hanoi or in Ho Chi Minh, can you please recommend which city is more comfortable to live for a student? And do you have any recommendations since I know very little about living in Vietnam, maybe some things which is forbidden, cultural stuff and so on
Hi. i'm not vietamiese, but all of my vietnamiese friends said me : vietnamiese people of the south are more open mind than vietnamiese of the north. So it seems more easy to make friends in HCM than in Hanoi. I visited HCM 2 time, and vietnamiese people from HCM are very friendly.

I tried to do it but it asks for city, district, Ward/Commune etc but I don't know because I haven't booked anything yet. Thank you!
Hello David, health declaration was trashed since April this year, so don't worry about it, it not a requirement anymore. 😁

Can you do a video on Nha Trang? They got very cheap grilled lobsters on the beaches. Also, they have a theme park on a private island called Vinpearl Land. You should check out a thai vlogger called Backpaeger.
I've been there once, it's a nice place, great for tourism, although i wasn't sure about seafood prices, but thanks for the tip! I bet anything with Vin on it's name is a pricey place... yea i'll check your recos Backpaeger, i'll stalk that channel hehehe
@@enafrancia If you want to try food locals eat in Saigon then you might want to watch this Vietnamese youtube - PM Food Travel (He has English subs). It would be interesting to watch you try the more authentic Vietnamese food then the ones for upper class/expats. Excellent video! By any chance, do you know the operating hours of the airport shuttle or bus #86 to go from Hanoi airport to the city center? I am going to reach there at 4:30 am so want to know how long I will have to wait if I want to take the bus and not spend on taxi.
U can download the Bus Map app. Usually buses starts as early as 5am

Summer is hot and humid everywhere in vietnam. However, May is better than Sept/Oct, less rain. Best to go in dry season from Dec- April
its still okay to visit Da Nang until May, but in Hanoi there's a slight chance of rain. i do agree with hoàng, it's really hot when it's summer especially here in Ho Chi Minh City.
Well It depends each season has different kind of weather and activities. If you go in May "summer time" the weather could be hot from the North to the south except Da Lat-the weather is really cool and temperature is normally under 23°c . From my point of view, I highly recommend Da Nang or Da lat if you want to visit this month.

Heyyy! I suggest for u to just download apps, so prices are fixed. I never used taxi 🚕 but Vinataxi & Vinasun have apps too.
How do you download the app if you’re coming from Australia and have ab international number?
You definitely need a Vietnam simcard or change country in app store/playstore
