    I know I could be friends with her in the first 3 minutes of her video! I love the way she talked about being excited about moving into new apartments and all the possibilities of how you can decorate it and make it your own! And I'm all about good light LOL natural light! I'm actually going for it and moving to Vietnam from California in January! I am most likely coming alone so I'm pretty scared but excited too. I really enjoyed this video even though I know it's 2 years old. I've been looking for apartments for a while now online when I get tired of looking I watch these types of videos LOL it would be so cool if we met once I move there. You seem like a really really cool girl 😊

I found your apartment hunting is very helpful. This video was uploaded 7 or 8 months ago. I like your current apartment the best and the price is very affordable to our retirement budgets. I'm wondering the cost double for 2 bedrooms? We only plan to stay for 3 to 6 months only due to the visa. Do you have any suggestion? Thank you in advance. Dino and Ann from California.

    In Hanoi, you only need 8_10 million (350_400 USD) to own an apartment of 60_70m in an affordable apartment. The price of apartments for rent in Ho Chi Minh City is always 20_40% higher than Hanoi.

    Hi Ena, I'm just curious, in Vietnam do they have a rent to buy scheme? Are they allowing expats to own a house and lot in Vietnam? If so, why not buy one instead of renting if you're staying there for the rest of your life. Besides, your UA-cam channel and your day job can fully support your expenses. Just saying. 😊

    • @cloudyy.12
      @cloudyy.12 Рік тому

      about this.. i think it's might be a little bit complicated for foreigner. they check evrythings like passport, your job, your financial, some paper work you have to prepare... they wanna make sure that you are legally eligible to buy/sell a house/apartment/lot or not.
      if you buy a lot and want to build it buy your own, you have to ask for your local government (county, district, city... where you live) permissions. construction permits, business permits (for business purposes), taxes, related administrative papers etc. oh dear, it's might drive you crazy.

    I’ve been watching your videos a lot lately as I’m going go HCM later this month as an exchange student! Your apartment hunting video was super helpful🫶 I’ve been trying to find apartments through the facebook ad and there’s one house that I like but the house owner says he’s out of vietnam right now and his family members will show me the house. He says contract can be signed, scanned as a document and sent over via email and I’ll get the actual copy once he comes back to vietnam in 3 mnths. I’m kinda suspicious of this tho🤔is it normal in vietnam to sign contracts this way or could this be a scam possibly?

    • @enafrancia
      @enafrancia  2 роки тому

      Hi! i recommend for you to sign a contract once you're here personally in Vietnam so you can see the actual apartment and the neighborhood. To be honest this case is unusual. you can book for an airbnb or hostel in your first days/ weeks while searching for an apartment or once you checked the apartment that you liked.

    • @thumtlnguyen3626
      @thumtlnguyen3626 2 роки тому

      If you do like the apartment so much it's easy to add a clause in the contract clearly mentioning: You agree to rent it now but the contract will be legally bound when you're there to check it yourself first.

    • @HandleOne
      @HandleOne 2 роки тому

      It's a scam. Only deal with people you meet in person who proves to you that they own the apartment or has the authority of the owner. Must be in person. Not over the Internet.
