Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

Timer makes the finals so boring, meta so focused on early aggression made mortars super strong and just every round. As well as "hah I did 2% core damage, now I can just turtle and win".

Also it's 1v1. There's only one player's worth of machine gunners to pressure. Mortars are harder to implement in larger lobbies since there will always be a runaway heavy weapons player.

At first when these appeared, I also got distracted, than it helped me to understand certain things a bit better. By now I feel no distraction anymore and hope for others to see the good about it, as it had for me.
