What if at the start of the Siberian intervention, Japan finds Alexei Romanov and makes him a puppet ruler of Siberia to justify their ongoing “intervention”? Yes Alexei Romanov is assassinated in July and the intervention starts in August, so either move the intervention forward a couple of months, or have the Czechoslovak Legion rescue Alexei and bring him to the Japanese. Either way, Japan should remain in Siberia after October 1922, with enough legitimacy so that America doesn't embargo Japan or force Japan's withdrawal, & Japan can pay for the “intervention” with Siberian gold/iron/gems/fur. Or, alternatively, one of his sisters, Grand Duchesses Olga, Tatiana, Maria, or Anastasia, survives and is married into the Japanese royal family giving Japan a claim over all of Russia.
It'd be almost immediately countered and Germany would fall maybe a week later , Germany was in zero position to prevent their fall that late in the war, Germany had zero chance

I don't think it'd change much in the grand scheme of things. The USA has just way too much of an edge in industry, population and resources (oil in particular) for Japan to ever win, and they were too pissed off about the surprise attack on Pearl Harbour for a negotiated peace to happen. I can't imagine anything other than the time of allied victory changing. This is more a what-if for the peace negotiations than the war itself I'd imagine.
What if the German "wonder weapons" (Wunderwaffen) had been used a few years earlier? Firstly, sorry for my bad English (it's not my native language and I'm trying to translate this with my limited school knowledge and Google) Towards the end of the war, the Germans had brought some innovations to the battlefield (even if the propaganda portrayed their efficiency in an extremely exaggerated way), the heavy tanks, land cruisers and super battleships (Tiger, Tiger II, Maus, P-1000 Ratte, H-class battleships) were, in terms of warfare, dead ends, but with the Me 262 (first jet aircraft in series production), the U-boat types XXI and XXIII (together with the "Zaunkönig I and II"- torpedo, effectively redefined submarine warfare) or the V1 and V2 rockets (practically precursors of modern guided missiles) some really strong innovations had also been introduced. The general consensus, however, is that these weapons came too late and could not be produced in sufficient numbers to save Germany from defeat. I have often heard that the Allies would have had problems if the war had lasted a few more years, but I think that would not have helped much because, despite the new technologies, Germany simply would not have had enough raw materials and industrial capacity to use these technologies (+ the Americans' Manhattan Project could then be completed and used against Germany instead of Japan). Instead, a more interesting question would be what would have happened if the Germans had had these innovations much earlier (while the rest of the world had made roughly the same progress). Could Nazi Germany use this to avert defeat and perhaps achieve a stalemate, or perhaps, for example, take over the Caucasus and its oil reserves and thus put itself in an economic position to hold out longer?
