    Dr. Todd Rodman is a board certified sports physician specializing in soft tissue and chiropractic manipulation for injuries and performance. Since 2010 he has been the official team chiropractor for Florida Atlantic University athletics. He has also worked many athletic events including being on the medical staff for the Ironman triathlon and the director of athlete services for the CrossFit games.

    Is it a good technique to treat trigger point also in the masseter because i heard about ischemic compression so should i do both technics or not?

    I have TMJj problem since 8 years now and my pain can get so bad that it is even hard for me to touch my face as the pain so intense in this situation what should i do.

    Ps. Do mean also for people who grind their teeth not just at night but also during the day?
    How often should they do it?

      Sarah A. - Thanks for the comment! It's helpful to do it once to twice per day. For the daytime grinders, becoming aware of when they are doing it and trying to retrain that habit is most effective. Mouth guards are also good to prevent damage but the issue is to stop/limit the grinding.

    I have fibromyalgia and cervical spondylosis, and I suffer badly with tmj pain blocked ear numb fingers sore knees headache sore face

      Hi, Isle of Skye bake,s sorry to hear your problems. Please see exercises for fibromyalgia and diet for it. But the chiropractor can't show you the solution for your problems.
