I admit... I welled up a little at this. They were so good on this tour. I got to see them with my friends at 13. My first concert without an adult. One of the happiest nights of my life. Thanks you so much for this , Tardis
Love the ASU era because it was the first time me and my friends saw the band in concert 1981 Bakersfield, CA. Billed as the only southern California appearance that year for the band. Though we had tickets for the show, we snuck into the auditorium and saw some of the soundcheck. Before we were caught and thrown out we saw them play Led Zeppelin's "Goodtimes Badtimes" and I remember Rick walking around the empty floor, wireless, playing his guitar. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that one day this show will see the light of day!

This is awesome, my first concert was this show, but at the Mecca in Milwaukee, WI at age 15 on February 12, 1981 (the night before this Michigan show). UFO opened and both bands were excellent...what a night!
They were promoting their new album “All Shook Up” at the time. After that tour, most of the songs from that album were never played again, so fans of the band hold this show in high regard since live versions of these songs are very rare.

saw them in 78 when I was 13. My daughter's first was at 13. both were in Waukesha WI. She will still come and see them with me if she's in the area.
