Them are hateful type of people. I'm willing to bet many are the same type of people who complain about everything. I've never read the Bible, but I'm thinking they would be referred to as evil people or future fuel for the fire down below.

GOAT for sure. Ill never forget the night he won the Hill Billy 100 at Tyler County Speedway with no water pump on the racecar. One of the nicest people to talk to and very fan oriented!
Winning a heat race somewhere in a tripod car as well. Broke the mold after Scott I’m certain. Give heaven a little hell Bloomer.
I can tell in your tone of voice this matters much to you. I feel the same brother. I don’t care about whatever bs peeps want to go on about as far as their dislike’s of him. Dirt late model was built on his talent, it raised the game for dirt late model, so much to the point Scott was a rockstar and helped move dirt racing along with dirt late model to where it is today. Grew up watching him at the original atomic speedway in east TN when he still ran 18 then he left to run Hava Tampa an when it was gone he ran alot of southern all star races that ran all across the state of TN the 2007 world finals was an amazing race pitted on lap 5 an drove all the way back to 1st in 30 laps against the best he was amazing rip voodoo child

Scott bloomquist was my Idol and iam so gald that i got to meet him rest well scott
I idolized him. I grew up in Mohawk Tn about 10 miles away as a crow flies from Volunteer Speedway and my best friends parents owned an Italian restaurant, now an empty lot, at the the bottom of the hill called ironically at the time Volunteer Pizza. He would always come in there after the race and eat or just to socialize with Mr. and Mrs. Bettencourt as they were good friends. One night after a race, I came in and he was in the booth with my friends mother and he invited me over to sit with him. At 12 years old I was so star struck I could barely talk. Thats been almost if not 30 years and I will never forget it! R.I.P Scott Bloomquist

Watched Scott since I was 14 in Kingsport Speedway. It was always exciting to see him show up at this local track. Spend numerous Saturday's with my father watching him race Purvis and Larry Moore. We live in Hawkins county now, the city Mooresburg, TN is located and it saddens me much to hear this happened. RIP to the greatest I ever saw on dirt for over 40 years!

I didn’t know Scott Blinkist, but years ago when he was racing in Cleveland, Tennessee and Speedway I watched him race and he was awesome. You can’t say much about me. He went to win and that’s what he what he did and say God bless his family.

Scott Bloomquist was the American Bad Ass of high speeds of Dirt late Model Racing. He could bring the car count up and put people in the grandstands. The racing crowd knew they going to see legend at work. The exciting cool looking wraps of the Zero cars of Scott the Cross Bones ☠️wraps and ☯️ wraps.
Racers their selfs just wanted to try put a check mark on their racing resume that they won against one of best, Scott Bloomquist. Scott was a natural to dirt late model racing and always exciting to watch on and off the track in the pit area. He was the Best of the Best. He could read the dirt from racetracks from all over the United States. The racing world lost a True American Bad Ass racer. He will never be forgotten from many of us in the dirt community. He was Hero to many of us.
May God Bless his Daughter, Mother, Sister and all of his family and close friends in this time of loss. Stay Strong to your faith May God Bless you all.

The Bloomquist, Purvis on track battles were the start of Scott's legendary career. I was privileged to watch him race from the beginning to the present. RIP BLOOMER. Love him or hate him he made this sport the most exciting on 4 wheels.
I’m proud to say I was born in the same state as Bloomer and Moyer, 1:21 the two best Dirt Late Model drivers ever. Every time I went to a big race I always looked to see if Scott was there. There will never be another Black Sunshine. R.I.P. Scott.

James Essex is the Scott Bloomquist of broadcasting. I love all of the flo crew but he brings it to life the way Rick Eshelman did. I was not a fan of Scott's but man was he powerful in the late model world. This one hurts and just seems gone too soon. The hair, the paint shcemes, embracing the villain role and just being a bad ass was something special to have witnessed. He was in the drama and not without controversy. There will never be another 0.

My dad used to build engines and a car for his friend in late 80s early 90s and at our local track the man to beat was Billy Moyer.I was like 7-8 years old and still remember how fast he was it was pretty crazy but despite my old man building engines with as little money as possible they still beat Billy sometimes. At that time who knew we were racing against the future goat imo.
He's gonna be greatly missed. The GOAT is off to the holy grail of dirt track racing up in Jesus track of eternity. RIP Bloomer.

Bloomer was to dirt late model racing what Dale Earnhardt was to NASCAR. Truly a heartbreaking day for racing.
I feel Scott was the equivalent to NASCARS Dale Earnhardt Sr, especially his talent behind the wheel. You either loved or hated him. But you can't deny the talent. RIP
Whether u booed him or cheered him regardless of how u looked at him when cheering on Saturday night at the track there is absolutely no denying his passion and love for the sport and there is no denying he was a pioneer and gave as much back to the sport and did as much for the sport as anyone ever has. He will forever be a legend and will be missed. Even after he retired he had so much to contribute back to the sport and just to be involved. Sadly now he will go down as a legend a hero and was taken to soon. Rip Scott. Thank u for all you've done for the sport your legacy will go on for many years to come and the contributions you've made to so many drivers will carry on in their hearts for decades to come as well. Just know that him and Hodnett and Clausen are up there right now talking about the next race just waiting for everyone else to come home.
He was controversial, he was spirited and one of the very best of all times in a late model. Such a loss to the sport and his family.
