I think the computer scales to your driving skill to give you the challange you need. I base that from that time I played tinys arena form Crash team racing nitro fueled once without Power sliding and jump boost and the fastest computer finished at 4:37 then tried again with Power sliding and jump boost and the computer finnished att 4:05

I remember not drifting at all when I was a kid, looking at it now makes me realize there wasn't really any sense of speed in the game, but honestly it's still a good game, my childhood came back to me! 🥰

I guess I can believe Polar and Pura getting hypnotized by N Trance to race on his team as they may have been strolling about the island while the Bandicoots were at home, but Dingodile was just with Cortex, N Gin and Tiny. How did he get hypnotized? I mean strangely for Team Cortex, they were carried up from that one tower in Cortex’s castle, could N Gin’s lab not have been in that tower, and did he and Tiny run back to Cortex as they were being carried off?
Clearly the roster of characters was updated for this game, Crunch is now part of Team Bandicoot, and so having Polar and Pura would make too many racers for them, as would Dingodile for Team Cortex since Fake Crash and N Tropy are also in this race.

My mother told me i used to play this when i was 3 years old... The year was 2004 and now it’s almost 2020... Only have good memories when i think about this game. Thank you crash, you will always have a special place in my heart.

I never played this CTR sequel, I played the first CTR a lot and I completed it 100% and I was still playing with my friends on PC until last year before the CTR Nitro-Fueled game came out. Now that I've been playing CTR Nitro-Fueled I was curious to take a look at Crash Nitro Kart and it really looks great, I regret not having played it in its time, I like that the remastered circuits are also very attached to the originals, although they exclude antigravity, they even added shortcuts that did not exist in the original CNK. I'm loving CTR Nitro-Fueled, undoubtedly one of the best karting games that brings me nice memories.
Yeah, by the looks of it they've done a really good job of replacing the anti-gravity segments in ways which remain faithful to the original, even in tracks like Thunder Struck and Electron Avenue where large portions of the track had to be replaced. Although they did entirely remove two segments of Hyper Spaceway. I wish I could play it myself, but I'll have to wait for a PC port.

I also remember the face I had when I finally unlocked Dingodile and Zam. They were my favourites haha 😂

The lack of CNK Story mode and no Gravity Tracks are what hit me hard when I went through CNF'd. Still glad I have my CNK copy to play anytime at least

I always had a place for this game in my heart, and although I never found out how to do the power boost, cause it always had me super confused, I always did the entire adventure without doing so, and somehow, I did it! It was crazy, but it definitely was a worth it challenge imo!

I remember the release of the original crash team racing never got super attached to this game. It just felt really clunky and slow compared to CTR and the boosts never felt like they did anything. Crash nitro fueled did a great job at recreating the experience
