Brayden Fraser I was lucky yesterday to get that sharpshooter 15 missile hits in a row Grand Prix achievement, the AI glitched on the edge of a rock in Rocky Road just in front of my blue flag checkpoint, so I was opening crates waiting for missiles to show up and used 15 on the AI to get it.
@@thegaywriter The best is when N. Tropy is 2 feet in front of you, perfectly lined up, you fire the missile... And it goes sideways, completely around him, and into the wall in front of him.

Oxide Station is okay since you’re not getting that much of a gap...
...but Thunder Struck is dirty man.

Yeah I actually recomend you to try thunderstruck and oxide station shortcuts to beat the time trials before they patch it
Really not needed. Thunder Struck can easily be done for Oxide. No glitches, I managed a 2:40. Oxide is 2:58.

@@GoldenBoy-lv1jg To get around the idea of Cortex Castles Obscure 90 degree turns, you'll have to do something called a AMTS (Airborne Momentum Turn Slide) on some of the harder turns for if you play coco or tiny.

Edit: Around the 5:43 mark, there is another short cut. As soon as you’re going up the ramp, if you get the 3 boost, you can literally jump from the middle ramp to get to the top

All of them apart from the blizzard buff jumping over the fence, oxide station, thunder struck, dragon mines are all used by the oxide ghost in time trial
The jump in Thunder Struck is cheating as hell.

Dang...I played CTR as a kid growing up and did not know of half of these short-cuts. Just bought the game today, beat 1/4 of N. Tropy's time trials and tested myself on Papu's Temple against Oxide and...It's tough. Hopefully I can perfect these short-cuts and complete the rest of the time trials.

The gap jump just use penta or tiny and control yourself then it's easy

I remember tha old dirty cheat shortcuts on hot air skyway from CTR, i used it against pinstripe and the time trails but on CTR nitro fueled they removed them

So would you say the balanced characters are best to use for this sort of intense powerslide racing and time trials? I usually pick the highest speed characters and try my best at controlling the slides.

Half-piping in Sewer Speedway (0:18 , 0:34)
Skipping the Polar Pass ramps (3:00 , 3:09)
Hopping the 1st fence in Blizzard Bluff (4:40)
Jumping the Hot Air Skyway u-turn (5:09) (It's not that bad, but keeping your Blue Flame without falling off is tricky.)
Threading the death barrier-needle in Oxide Station (5:46)
Drift style user in u-turn : allow me to introduce ourselves

You missed one on hot air skyways the cloud blocks it but you can jump to the straight away if you are going fast enough

I used to do most of these tricks when i was a kid, sadly i've already forgotten most of them thats why im here. Some of these tricks are really hard to pull
They need to fix those unintended shortcuts otherwise online will become a clusterfuck.

I think he means the wall. @3:11 there is a ramp on the right, you can take the boost pad and jump off a slope launching you over the other side.

Hot Air Skyway. 1 shortcut you missed. Its the parallel straigth path. From there, right after the first straight, turn back and gain some mementum to jump to the other side of the straight path. Using this, we can widen the gap so wide or insanely close the gap to the opponent in front of us.

The Blizzard Bluff fence jump and Hot Air Skyway sharp turn jump look much easier now, maybe cause of the reduced “invisible walls” around these areas?
Also the square hole in NGin labs are much easier too. Back then Ultimate Sacred Fire was the only speed fast enough to jump across it, not even the mask enhanced sacred fire could make it across. Now that kind of speed is enough to do so
