We lost a baby in 2019, her name was Daisy. I'm now 37 weeks pregnant again, and trying to incorporate some daisies around for nursery decor, and this is perfect! Thank you!
So sorry for your loss 😔 Sending so much congratulations for your new arrival coming soon, such a special time and I feel honoured to be a part of that! 💕
So sorry for your loss. Have you thought of doing a canvas with Daisies glued to it. Incorporate other flowers if you want. Or maybe do your babies initial with these daisies on it. Pinterest is very helpful for ideas.
@@bunnyflick4387 actually you could cover a canvas with material that has daisies on it, if you choose and then attach the babies initial on it. You can even paint the letter.
The very first grass daisy that I see each year, I pick and give to my hubby. We've been doing this tradition for at least a couple decades now. It's so special for us. I'll definitely be making these! 🌼
all the comments are so wholesome, my story for making these isnt as important but im making these for my soon to be auntie, im an intermediate crocheter, for about 4 to five years, and i love making very big bouquets, which i made for myself only once. so i decided im gonna make her a nice big bouquet because i know she would love them! i needed a few of these daisies to add a cute little touch to this bouquet, thank you for this tutorial!
Thank you for this tutorial! I was looking for a pattern that showed how to make stems, so I could make a little bouquet for my darling little great auntie's grave, who we lost earlier this year. She was cheerful and colourful and loved knitting and crochet, so I've made her some cheerful, colourful daisies. I don't know how long they'll last out in the elements, but they stand a better chance of surviving the rabbits than real flowers do!
I just love all your patterns. So easy to follow! I've done lots of daffodils, and came across the daisy pattern, so that's my next project. No golf in Winter months, so crochet is my therapy instead. Thank you so much❤
Daisy is actually very beautiful but as in crochet your daisy is looking as real as flower. I always follow your videos and also I like you teaching. Thanks for sharing.
well, mine definitely looks more like an egg on this first go around, but I'm still very new to crochet. Still very flower shaped, and I'll be following this a few more times until I get it right. Thank you for the easy and lovely tutorial
Great instructions Laura, maybe with the crochet thread I won't be able to stretch it out of purportion (out of shape). I seem to have a problem when holding the yarn to begin crocheting too tightly. I'm definitely a beginner. Never have crocheted or knitted successfully in my life and I'm 62 years old. You are a very good teacher, very clear instructions. Thank you. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
These are stunning, I have lots of cotton yarn so there is no prizes for guessing what will be the next item on my hook, Thank you for sharing keep well and stay safe.
Daisies.......... the marvelous friendship ambassador flower. You..... the perfect one to show us how to make them this special . Sending , always, love . marcia
Those are so pretty. I just found you and am watching quite a few of your creations. I am a huge fan of thread crochet. I will be using these. Thank you.
What a lovely morning to receive such a notification from your channel. I don't know what brand of thread is that , would you mention it! Thanka a million.
I am a hearing impaired senior and would very much appreciate it if you would include Closed Captions with your videos please. Also. It would be nice if you posted the materials needed in the comments section for each project. These dasies are absolutely beau-ti-ful! Thanks you for sharing this.
I always thought UA-cam added subtitles automatically in English, I don't know, as for the materials you can find the free written version on my website Edit* yes I just checked CC are available in English so 🤷
Hi You have lovely videos. I am crocheting a flower, but using a skewer and wrapping yarn round it, bit don't know what to do at end, it looks really messy and very bottom of skewer shows. Please advise. Thanks. I do hv pic but can't add on here x
I luv dasies sm and since grad is coming up I plan to make some for my grad friends. Im a beginner so mine doesn't look as great but I think they will still turn out well hopefully! Also wondering if there is some way to make the petals a lil bigger/fatter I think its because of the yarn Im using it looks a bit wonky, so hopefully bigger petals will make it look better!
I'm going to be sharing some leaf designs soon ☺️ but there is one on my tulip tutorial you could use in a smaller weight yarn that might work well, like grass
It helps to wipe your hands on a wet towel as you work so you don't move the stickiness around as you work, because I didn't do this in the video it's why my hands and stems got sticky ☺️

If you struggle with crocheting too tight, you can try going up a hook size but with the same weight yarn, this might help 😌
I love your voice and accent. As weird as this might sound, it is very soothing to me.
That's very kind! I'm glad 😊

@@HappyBerryCrochet I want to be able to make a bouquet 💐 that would be so amazing!

These are so pretty! What gauge is the floral wire? It should be indicated on the Amazon product description.
0.35mm
Hi. My petals tend to curl up. Any tips to avoid it would be of great help ! Thanks
I’ve never made daisy chains as a kid so I think I’m going to try this! Do you have a leaf you would suggest?
I'm going to be sharing some leaf designs soon ☺️ but there is one on my tulip tutorial you could use in a smaller weight yarn that might work well, like grass
@@HappyBerryCrochet thank you! I have so much going on I will check out your video and wait to watch your upcoming tutorial!
Hi, wanna ask about the yarn that you used…how many ply is that?
what type of yarn do you use?
2 / 3 / 4 ply?
Hello, a question. Do your stems feel sticky with the floristtape? Mine do. How to prevent that?
It helps to wipe your hands on a wet towel as you work so you don't move the stickiness around as you work, because I didn't do this in the video it's why my hands and stems got sticky ☺️
❤
Need this but much slower and absolute beginner type video ☹☹
You can play all videos at a slower speed, multile choices. You could get the written pattern on her page first, then watch a slower video.
🔝❤🙏
