Ingredients:
6 (3 ounce) packages different Jello flavors (Berry Blue, Lime, Lemon, Orange, Grape, and Raspberry, Cherry or Strawberry for red)
5 packages unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk
8 1/2 cups water
Instructions:
1. Bottom (purple) layer: Dissolve a 3-ounce package of grape flavored jello with 1 teaspoon of unflavored gelatin (1/2 envelope of Knox unflavored gelatin) in 1 cup of boiling water by stirring until completely dissolved. Pour into a 9x13-inch pan and transfer to the refrigerator. Make sure the pan is sitting completely flat. Chill until completely set, about 30 minutes.
2. Second (white) layer: Make this layer at the same time as the bottom layer. Stir 2 teaspoons (1 envelope) of Knox unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water until dissolved. Add 1/2 can of sweetened condensed milk and stir until combined. Let this sit out on the counter until cooled to room temperature, but not yet set while the previous layer sets up in the fridge.
3. Once the first colored layer has set, make the next colored layer (berry blue) following the directions in Step 1 so it can start to cool. Then pour 3/4 cup of the white jello mixture over the colored layer and gently tilt the pan side to side for even distribution. Return jello to the refrigerator to set up, which takes about 20 minutes.
4. Continue to make layers following steps 1 & 2, alternating flavored colorful layers (the next colors in rainbow order are green, yellow, orange, and red) with the creamy white layers, letting the jello set between each addition until all of the jello has been used up. You will need to make the white layer a couple of times because even without refrigeration it will set up on the counter if you make it all at once.
5. Once the jello is completely set, slice into 1-inch squares using a paring knife (not a serrated blade which leaves marks in the jello) and serve. A small spatula will help you get the jello cubes out of the pan.

I love it! My kids would love it! I'm going to have to try to make this 💞
I'm sure they will!
I am here due to my childhood . I find myself wanting to make all my childhood treats. My great aunt would make these for the church ❤
Made this really fun and yummy
Wow yummy 😋
Love this! Great presentation!
Love this, thank you!
This is awesome thanks for taking the time to share this with us, you’re so fun to watch😊
Thanks! I’ll try it for our st Patrick’s celebration this weekend! ❤
This would be great for potlucks! I think I might use coconut milk as you mentioned in another post and top it off with homemade whipped cream, spread the tops and sides, like you would frosting on a cake, & topped with berries. What a great jelly cake and it so versatile. Who doesn't like a beautiful rainbow!
Thank you!
i love this recipe, it is the best of all the one I hae done. It comes as beautiful like yours.....Thank you so very much
I am from Canada
I'm making this soon looks awesome! will let u know my results
My aunt would always make layered jello but the top layer she would mix the jello with whipped cream to make a fluffy top. It’s soooo good.
Thank you.
PERFECTION.
🎉
Time to up my hello making skills
That's right. Level up! ;)
Can you make this with pudding mix?? I'm going to try and make this one for 4th of July. My mom used to make this when I was a kid. Love them . Ty let you know how my first attempt comes out. Wish me luck
This won't set up the same with pudding mix as it does with jello, but I'm sure you could probably come up with some kind of layered pudding dessert.
Hi can you tell me how can i make unflavored jelatin powder pls? I mean add cold water or hot? Exactly step by step. Thank you in advance
So each layer 1 cup boiling water for colors and 3/4 cup for white? Want to make sure they are even.
After making it do u store it in the fridge?
Please I want the Receipe for More healthy one , I prefer the Unflavored one, also with condensed milk it’s to much Sugar, what should be instead of the condensed one??, please let me know, because I prevent get diabetic, but I like Gelatine, thank you
Very first step and I did it wrong lol. I added the cold water like making normal jello. Owell... ill make it right going forth
do you only add 1 cup of hot water and not any cold??
I'm going to a picnic and I want to bring this for a delicious dessert treat. It's in honor of the rainbow that God made a covenant with Abraham. That he would never destroy the Earth again by a flood.💜💝💛💚💙.
I enjoyed this video very much and I can't wait to try this recipe. Thank you very much for such a wonderful and simple way to make what looks like a very difficult gelatin. Watching from Rochester New York. July 20th 2021
That’s a great idea but actually Jehovah God made the covenant with Noah after they came out of the arc 🙂
Great idea for PRIDE month, birthdays, coming out, etc., too!
Hi, would it release easily from the pan/container if you try? To leave it whole, as like a cake!!!
I have done it in a jello mold before and it works as long as you set it in hot water for a few seconds to loosen it first.
Hi I’m going to try this over the weekend for my kids. Just wondering how long does this take to do would it be 2 hours or more? If you adding 7 layers
@@salomidave92 It takes probably around 4 hours or so to make the entire thing. Which sounds like a lot, but I usually do a few layers at night while watching a show on tv, then finish it up in the morning. It's not hard and takes just minutes for each layer, but you have to wait for them to chill in between, which is what accounts for most of the time.
I needed to see how you layered the next layer😢
My grandson is allergic to dairy. What can I substitute for condensed milk? Thank you.
You can purchase sweetened condensed coconut milk (Whole Foods usually has it or you could order online) or make your own by combining two 14-ounce cans of full-fat coconut milk with 1 1/3 cups of granulated sugar in a small pot. Heat it over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and let it simmer over low heat for 30-40 minutes until thickened and reduced by about half. Then pour that into a jar to cool. It makes about 2 cups so you might need to double the batch for enough.
@@HouseofNashEats Thank you so much! Will definitely try this.
@@HouseofNashEats Thanks so much.
As a kid I made with with non dairy whipping cream :)
@@HouseofNashEats Good idea; the tropical flavor of coconut would be really good too!
I made it but every leyer falls apart.Im wondering why
Probably the jello too set between layers, layer should be tacky
Do we have to use sugar???
No, as the jello is already sweetened. I’m going to make this for our church’s youth group. I think they’d love it.
I did this tonight and it took about 20 min for each layer. I would recommend not mixing the white right away but waiting 5 min or so because it gels at room temp. Or just watch it and melt again in microwave
How to make a boozy version of this? I love it
- lẩu nướng thịt heo
- Đà Nẵng quảng nam
- bánh bột nướng thịt
- đời sống chồng vẫn
I'M TRYING DISS RN DIS LOOOKS INSANELY GUUUD WOOW DELICIOUS & AESTHETIC 🫡🥺🌈🍮😋
Why don’t you add a cup of cold water ? Dose it make it set different ?
Good question
Because the jello wouldn’t be as firm for layering.
I did it with my first layer by accident. It's cooling now, let's see how it goes
Looks like we'll never see how it went. The jello came alive and ate Mandy. Never use cold water.
RIP Mandy
How long in advance can you make this before an event? I have 100 things to make and it’d help if I could make this 2-3 days before hand and keep refrigerated🥲?
