You can use a sharpie marker on the super bright bulbs and the "hotspots"

Did you have to get rid of the green film?

The leds dont look that bright tho? Or is that just how it seems through the camera? Like you can definitely tell the the fuel and temp part looks way brighter than the speed and rpms as well.

Hey I noticed you have the STI key. Does it work for you doors and trunk? If so what did you do to make it work? Btw this is my 2nd time watching this video because I got I a DCCD v5 cluster and I want/need to change the bulbs. And my clock doesn’t work like yours and this video fixed it!!

Glad to hear that your clock was fixed too! So I know a lot of people say you have to do some shaving but I honestly just took my key to Home Depot and had them cut it for free and it works on the doors, trunk, ignition, everywhere lol I don’t know if I got lucky or what

@@StayOnTheGas Hmm interesting. Maybe ill give that a try at home depot. i got mine at ace hardware but i don't mind dishing out a few more dollars to have a cleaner looking key for everything then have 2 keys on me at all times. lol

It's interesting home Depot made it work, I took my sti key to a locksmith and they said it wouldn't work. Is yours a 01 by any chance? I did notice there seemed to be different keys blanks on eBay for the gc

Thanks! So I ordered the bumper beam from Rallispec because I need that first to get the right fitment but it had been like 3-4 weeks and they never sent me an update or even charged me or anything but yesterday I saw that they charged my card so hopefully I get that soon and I can get back to the bumper install 🙏🏼

I was wanting to do this with my 95 Impreza. On a scale from 1 to 10 how hard would this be? Also there’s no soldering required right??

Should have just shaved off the excess material off the tip of the LED instead!
