Mercy me, this is wayyyyy too much inspiration!! 😍 Your blankets are all so very beautiful; thanks for showing each one and explaining how each was made. I’d absolutely love a tutorial on your solid hexagon blanket, including joining and border. I’ve been wanting to make a blanket like that for ages. Can’t wait to see your video on it. Also: tutorials on your borders would be excellent! Each of them is so perfect for the blanket. I always struggle with finding the right borders. Anyway: Thanks for such an inspiring video! ❤

Beautiful blanket collection, my very favourite one is Sophie’s Universe. I love labour intensive hobbies and already saved a few similar projects in my Ravelry folders. Btw, I just turned 64 and have been crocheting since the age of 14, but only recently started working with yarn and I’m almost done with a queen sized bed cover.
Thank you so much for this video of all your blankets - so very inspiring!!! Thank you so much!!! Your blankets are so beautiful; I loved them. I'm 64 - but when I grow up I hope to have some crochet projects I can show off too. I loved all of them! Thank you!!!
This video is my crochet heaven!! I am blanket obsessed, especially using squares or hexagons. Loving all the designs and colour choices. Hard to pick a favourite 🤔 but I'm going for the honeycomb one, the colours are sensational 😊 I've avoided quality wool rich yarns simply because acrylic washes without giving it any thought! 😅 Ooh but that drape 🧡🤎💚💛
I used to agree with you but superwash wool is pretty resilient! I wash on a gentle cycle and then air dry. They seem to need less washing than the acrylic ones as well as I find acrylic holds smells more
I love the design of the Sampler Blanket and crochet a own blanket for me with also different squares and colors ❤ and wow, the disign of Sofies univers is also beautiful 😊
What an inspiration you are!! The hexagon blankets and starburst are my favourites, so they are now on my list of projects to ‘one day’ attempt! Thank you! 😊
All your blankets are beautiful. Thanks for the non curling tip. I’m making blankets ever so often but am thinking of doing more. I need to rotate my items as I want to crochet and knit everything I see. TFS
I love the colors of your first project! It is beautiful. I am gifting my first giant granny square blanket to my son for Christmas this year. I love it. It alternates rows of deep amethyst with rows of Red Heart Parrot Stripe. I am now making a patchwork of solid shades of purple and blue grannies bordered with medium gray rows and edging which he will love. I am drawn to your large, drapey hex blanket. It is beautiful as are the rest. All of them folded together just look comforting to me. The very intricate one is so amazing and must have cost a fortune in yarn. Wow!! Very fun video. Thanks.
Holy cow!!!! Every single one is beautiful!!!! I love every single one!!!! The first two you showed would be a major step up for me to even focus and TRY because I’d want it to come together overnight!!!! I’ve never made squares that intricate. You’ve encouraged me to set a goal for 2024!!!!

Beautiful works and very beautiful color combinations .i love the hexagon design.I subscribe to your channel.the number 6 blanket is truly one of a kind work of art .
Thankyou for your comment and welcome to the channel. I'm so happy you like my blanket and I agree that number 8 blanket is very easy and one of my favourites!
I watched this video at least three time to try to figure out which blanket was my favorite. I have it narrowed down to the Hexagon daisy and the Honeysweet hexagon. I loved the borders on all of them. Can’t wait to see the tutorial on the Honey Sweet blanket. Awesome video. Subscribed!
I love all your blankets. I am a knitter but started crocheting many years ago and just a couple of years ago I picked up again. I will definitely be watching your videos. Thanks again.

I’d rather it be loved and used than sit under my bed for another 5 years 🤷♀️ my nan really loves it and we are very close so it feels right to gift it.
I love all your blankets and your color choices. I have made three Sophies Universes and three Mandala Madness. I enjoy making them out of cotton DK, it really gives you good stitch definition. I made a couple out of Scheepjes but now I use Paintbox cotton dk which is a reasonable price and comes in a lot of colors. I like to not plan out my colors before I start and just choose them for each part as I go along. My friend made a Sophie out of all cream colored yarn and it was gorgeous.
wow you so talented. I've made some baby blankets for charity .I made in 1 pattern throughout the blankets. I really like your ideas.lots of love from South Africa.
I fell in love with the Hexadaisy blanket and ordered the pattern. I have made blankets for each family member but this one is for me! I’m using Caron Simply Soft as I found a fantastic sale on it and the colours are very similar. The pattern is very easy to follow with great instructions and paired with the online tutorials, learning the pattern was a snap. I’m about halfway through and can’t wait to see the finished result. I love making blankets and your creations really strike a chord with me. Thank you for sharing your patterns with us. You are very talented and inspirational!

Oh my gosh!! I‘m a quilter and cross stitcher and once a year I think about crochet something. After this gorgeous video I want to start a blanket! Wonderful trunk show! This you so much and happy new year! 🥳🌷🍀🎈
Happy new year 🎉 and definitely recommend a crochet blanket. I really want to finish a quilt this year. I have a dream of my bed with a patchwork quilt and a crochet blanket 🥰
Your channel came up in my feed. I’m so glad it did. You create beautiful things. I’m relatively new to crochet (age 66). I’ve done a few baby blankets . But I’d love to make one in the hexagon pattern. I really like the solid hexagon blanket, so yes please I’d love a tutorial in this pattern. Thank you for sharing your work. Just subscribed.
Welcome and Thankyou for subscribing ❤️ I’m hoping to get the hexagon tutorial up in the next few weeks with a written pattern to follow later in the year
@@meemamakes I crochet with double thread and use everything I have here. Every granny looks different. With 4.5 mm crochet hook. I will crochet the 6th round in black and then connect it with the mattress stitch. I was looking for it and then I ended up with you. 🥰
Hello Em🤗💕!! Within 2 minutes of watching you for the 1st time, I instantly felt so thankful to have had your channel show up in my UA-cam feed!! **It’s like winning a lottery for crafters/artisans!! So far, I was blown away with just the first 2 blankets you are sharing!! I’m excited to continue watching the rest of this video. Then, I will proceed to watch your other videos!! Ultimately with the desire to pick the simplest pattern for a beginner - you have inspired me to make a blanket for each of my young grandkids!! Thank you for creating your channel with such beautiful crocheted blankets - and most of all - for being a kind & brave young woman by taking on the challenges of being on UA-cam!! Have a lovely New Year!! Best Wishes for an awesome 2024!!!
Thankyou so so so much for your beautiful comment - it’s made me cry happy tears ❤️ I’m so happy you’re excited about my content, I just love sharing it with like minded people. Your grandchildren are very lucky and I’m sure each blanket will be like a cuddle from their grandma. I’d recommend a giant granny square blanket as it’s beginner friendly and I have tutorials for it on my channel. Thankyou again for taking the time to leave this comment ❤️
So glad I came across your videos , I love making crochet blankets your blankets are Beautiful . Thank you for the patterns and videos I am eager to check them out .
Somehow your channel came across my youtube feed :) I have to tell you, you are such a joyful, happy, positive person that I suddenly realized almost everyone I watch and everyone I am around in person is quite negative! It is nice to have you share your crocheted blankets with such joy. I've been crocheting for 50 years...made lots of blankets and shawls in that time. I can't seem to not have something working up in my hands. I feel guilty to just sit and not be 'doing something'... Your blankets are beautiful - and TWO hexagon blankets! Good for you! I just subscribed, hope you keep up the beautiful work, and keep your smile going because you made ME smile today...and probably many other people too.
Oh , SOPHIE'S UNIVERSE is my dream, it' s just like a wonderful paint ❤❤❤❤ but all Your creations are so perfect , with perfect colur and technic👌👏👏👏👏😘
I defiantly would like to see a video of the making of the Honeysweet Hexagon, it looks beautiful. In my opinion, your first blanket is very nice, the colors work well together.
Loving the hexagon daisy blanket definitely going to make this, I love the stylevraft special yarn so easy to work with and gorgeous colours. All your blankets are stunning xx
@meemamakes thank you I'm going to get the yarn tomorrow. I was going to do the cosy daisy blanket and then your video popped up and loved it. Thank you for your videos please keep doing them you're an inspiration xx
Actually my favourite blanket is the hexagon without neutral colors in between. But I do love your daisy hexagon blanket, it’s beautiful. They are all gorgeous!
I follow a few crocheters but you are, by far, the neatest one I’ve ever seen! Your stitches look like a machine did them, as they’re so even. Plus your joining is perfect with everything lined up, nothing wonky or weirdly shaped. I’ll never be able to crochet like that. I did a starburst blanket but joining them was a nightmare and I couldn’t make it symmetrical. It’s so askew! I’m impressed and depressed! 😂 I learned from Attic 24 about 4 years ago, but I’m certainly nowhere near your skill set. I definitely need more practice so I’ll be looking at your tutorials.
I think crochet is definitely a skill that needs lots and lots of practice - you will get there! I know exactly what you mean about the symmetry, I’m such a perfectionist with it so it takes me longer than it would some people
It’s so hard for me to choose a favourite as all your blankets are beautiful 😍. I’m currently attempting my first Christmas colour granny square blanket - green shades, red and cream. I thought if I start early enough, I will hopefully finish by this Christmas 😂. You are such an inspiration and such a good teacher. Thank you
Hi Meema, I just found your channel this morning. I'm thrilled!! Your blankets are just stunning. It's not possible to pick a favorite. They are all unique and beautiful. I'm now subscribed and looking forward to new videos!! Love from The Jersey Shore of New Jersey, USA ❤❤
❤ Very lovely all of them! I'm just doing a multicolor one and enjoy so much to do crochet! I think U R a nice Lady and I follow U from Lima Perú, S.A.
OMGG the daisy hexagon blanket! I'm so glad you have a video tutorial! ill definitely check it out after this video, I was scared for a moment it was only gonna be available as a written pattern but I never understand those and get so confused trying to read them!
The only thing I couldn’t do a tutorial for was the border as I’d need to make another blanket for that! If you want to learn to read patterns the Hexadaisy might be the way to go as I wrote it specifically to help crocheters who only use video tutorials. The instructions are broken down into bullet points instead of how they are normally written, and has plenty of labelled photos. Happy to send over a screenshot to see if it might work for you. But no worries if not, I’m trying to do a video tutorial for all my patterns moving forwards as I know it’s so helpful for a lot of people!

I love the last one.
All so gorgeous
Thankyou
They're all gorgeous, you give great advice. I just started crocheting a week ago.
Oooo how exciting, welcome to world of crochet! Just a lil warning, it’s super addictive
Welcome and Thankyou for subscribing ❤️ I’m hoping to get the hexagon tutorial up in the next few weeks with a written pattern to follow later in the year
Georgeous work.
Восторг!!! ❤❤❤ Очень красивые работы! Вы молодец!
Your blankets are so beautiful. I like them all. A few days ago I started a granny blanket from leftover sock yarn.
Oooo I’ve been thinking about a sock yarn blanket. Can I ask what size hook you’re using?
@@meemamakes I crochet with double thread and use everything I have here. Every granny looks different. With 4.5 mm crochet hook. I will crochet the 6th round in black and then connect it with the mattress stitch. I was looking for it and then I ended up with you. 🥰
@@bunti.7496 that sounds wonderful. I hadn’t considered holding two threads together, so Thankyou for the idea!
You've done a good job...I admire you for your long patience, congratulations you really talented and very creative...all blankets are beautiful 😊❤🎉😅
Thank you so much 😊
Oooo…Debbie Bliss Cashmerino is so lush. That would be the coziest blanket!
It really really is 😍
Hello Em🤗💕!! Within 2 minutes of watching you for the 1st time,
I instantly felt so thankful to have had your channel show up in my UA-cam feed!!
What a great roundup!. I also have cupboards full of stylecraft in a million colours. I think the hexi daisy is my favourite but it’s a hard choice!
So glad I came across your videos , I love making crochet blankets your blankets are Beautiful . Thank you for the patterns and videos I am eager to check them out .
Thankyou, so happy you like my blankets and hope you like my other videos too 😊
Somehow your channel came across my youtube feed :)
I have to tell you, you are such a joyful, happy, positive person that I suddenly realized almost everyone I watch and everyone I am around in person is quite negative!
Thankyou so much for your kind comment, it made me smile too! Welcome to the channel ❤️
All of these blankets are really really beautiful 😍. Thank you for sharing ❤

I defiantly would like to see a video of the making of the Honeysweet Hexagon, it looks beautiful. In my opinion, your first blanket is very nice, the colors work well together.
Thankyou ❤️ I am currently making up some hexagons ready for the tutorial!
Sophie's Universe is so so awesome
OMG 😍🤯
Yes the designer is soooo talented, it’s such a fabulous pattern
With a sister…love making blankets with texture
Oooo yes definitely
Loving the hexagon daisy blanket definitely going to make this, I love the stylevraft special yarn so easy to work with and gorgeous colours. All your blankets are stunning xx
Thankyou so much! And good luck with your Hexadaisy. It’s a bit of an addictive pattern 🤣
@meemamakes thank you I'm going to get the yarn tomorrow. I was going to do the cosy daisy blanket and then your video popped up and loved it. Thank you for your videos please keep doing them you're an inspiration xx
Beautiful blankets.
Thank you! 😊
Que manta linda, fiquei apaixonada…tons pastéis de super bom gosto e delicadeza! ❤
Actually my favourite blanket is the hexagon without neutral colors in between. But I do love your daisy hexagon blanket, it’s beautiful. They are all gorgeous!
Thankyou! There's something special about hexagon blankets isn't ther? - I love them! I'm planning another in the future too 🥰
I follow a few crocheters but you are, by far, the neatest one I’ve ever seen!
Thank you
This is such a good idea - starting so early. I always leave it too late!
O my God you are gifted to make such large blankets. I only made little ones like 1 metre square ones.
I love your color combinations! I have such a hard time choosing colors. Thank you for all the tip!
You are so welcome! Colour combinations have taken me a lot of practice and trial and error
your work is STUNNING! I love them all!
Thank you so much!
Thankyou and Welcome! So happy you like my blankets🥰
❤ Very lovely all of them! I'm just doing a multicolor one and enjoy so much to do crochet! I think U R a nice Lady and I follow U from Lima Perú, S.A.
So glad you liked them! Hi from England to Peru 👋
Love all the blankets and colors! So talented ❤️
Thankyou so much 😊
Yes please. Show us how to crochet the hexagon blanket. And what alternative yarn can we use please?💚
Any you like! I’ll be doing the maths for any sport or DK yarn but it’s easy to substitute bulkier yarns if you want to
So love your blankets. Very beautiful!
Thankyou 🥰
Beautiful work very talented. Thank you for sharing your videos, God bless you and good luck .From USA 😊
