- Garmadon has always been my favorite character, and I never see any scene packs of him so I wanted to make a compilation of both show and movie scenes!

You know despite being an evil overlord Garmodon was still a good dad. In the original series he loved Lloyd more then anything.

Honestly, whenever show!Lloyd calls him father instead of dad, my heart breaks just a tiny little bit. And I am sooo angry and will never forgive Harumi for what she did to garmadon either. Because Lloyd and garmadon had such a sweet relationship before she brought him back with all the good buried even further than it was originally.

I really hate what they did with garmadon past season 8, they tried to do the same developpment as the movie but forgot that the story is totally different
@@tigi2962Garmadon S8 I think was a good way of bringing him back. I dont like that they brought him back, but by bringing him back evil, it doesn’t cheapen his sacrifice in S4. Besides, he was a scary villain throughout the oni trilogy.

Garmadon being the embodiment of evil and his son being the only thing to bring out his humanity is so beautiful and lovely I will not forgive the writers for massacring the best character in later seasons.

S. 1-2 Garmadon was best tbh. He wasn't evil because he wanted to, but because he had no other choice. He didn't want to fight Lloyd, but had to. Their relationship was so sweet these times, especially when they are actually father and son being father and son. And that turned into whatever the f Garmadon was in S. 8 and 9. Truly broke my heart. (Ngl, that Garmadon was amazing, but the relationship in S. 1-2 cannot be compared to any other in the show. It's something truly special)
Garmadon was actually really good in season 8 and 9 imo. It creates an interesting conflict with Lloyd having to realize that the father he knew is gone. And then the arc in season 10 and the garmadon comics is also interesting because garmadon has to relearn what is most important in life. If they revived garmadon and made him the same as he was in the early seasons, that would be a lot less interesting and it would make his sacrifice in season 4 useless
Yeah in the first episode in season 2, he most likely killed the snake that insisted on hurting Lloyd saying that nobody would hurt his son. He maybe evil but he puts his son first
His 'death' in s5 broke me sm bc when he got his good side back they had a somewhat 'normal' relationship with no demonic powers involved whatsoever and suddenly he dies 💔
Garmadon from the original series seems more mature and loveable compared to the new installments. Or maybe I’m just biased because I grew up with the original.

What do you consider the original series? Because the original series ended in season 10, but the real ending to the series was season 15. Anyways, yes garmadon was more lovable in the early seasons but in season 8-10 he is probably the most mature he has ever been because he has basically no emotion and he says “has no son” but throughout season 10, he gains more emotions and starts to relearn what is important in life.
Well the reason for this because only the oni side was resurrected. So he wouldn't have any feelings. However, it's shown in sea bound and crystalized that he tries having compassion and caring. I really hope we see him in dragons raising.
@@shortstackofpancakes13 For me, it was seasons 1-13. I do not like Seabound or Crystallized, although bringing Harumi back as a main villain was pretty good. But the whole redemption arc thing they did for her was stupid! And the Overlord. Is. DEAD! There was not need to bring him back!
They should have turned Garmadon back to fully good. Like seeing Lloyd 'dead' sparked something in him and then he went off to try and figure out what that spark was. Then, years later, something happens and Lloyd discoveres his dad, his real dad, back to being human. I'd like that.

He's actually a really sweet dad. In the original series, he litterely came from hell to save his son, and then later, when he started leading the snakes, they wanted to hurt Lloyd he said, "Nobody harms my son". He actively avoided harming him in combat situations too it was really sweet😭

I've always loved Garmadon from the first 7 seasons (or so, I lost track of all the information). He just loved Lloyd with all his heart despite everything that came in in between their way. Unfortunately that fatherly side of him started to become less and less emphasized in the later seasons and movie.
It's coming back a bit in the series. I mean, when he was talking about christofern when he thought it was dead, it was kinda implied that he was actually talking about Lloyd but he's currently stuck in a bit of "but I'm supposed to be evil" funk brought about be Harumi reviving supposedly only the evil side of him. Not really helped by Lloyd yelling at him and getting mad at him on every corner because he also believes that only the evil side was revived.
Garmadon isn’t in season 6 or 7. Also, yeah I miss when garmadon was less evil. Hopefully he appears in dragons rising
