I wondered that too. In The Lego Movie, the part where Vitruvius says "We gotta write all that down 'cause I'm not gonna remember any of it, but here we go" was actually an outtake from Morgan Freeman, so it's certainly possible
Did you know that the name La-loyd was a mispronunciation by Justin Theroux but the directors got a laugh and told him to just keep calling him that the whole movie… a lot of the dialog was improvised bc the actors were in the booth together so they were able to bounce off one another!!

I literally love the fact that Zane tries so hard to not act like a robot and to be human but fails miserably it just makes him look more like a weirdo I love him so ♥️
My problem with Zane in the move versus the show iss you couldn't tell he was a robot, there were hints but you could confuse him for a real boy *and he doesn't have a mom*
4:28 Wu’s stick makes a musical sound when he twirls it around because before they showed that it was actually a flute! That’s such unnecessary but cool attention to detail!
Robots (no hate on Zane)🗿 🍷 Also, I don’t mean to force anything on you, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested
Honestly I HATED him in this. To me he’s like if Jack Sparrow got recast in POTC. Mark Oliver is irreplaceable as Garmadon and this guy does not embody the character to me at all
@@zachplaysallday-zpad5731 It was supposed to be a comedy movie, like almost every other Lego movie there is. I can see where you're coming from though. It's different and strange seeing him being humorous rather than just being evil Garmadon.
@@paulettefrazier445 Yes of course, it would be foolish as to not at least try the game, of course that comment was the stupidest thing u’ve ever written and I resent it greatly, signed, me (hehe)
@@mallowanimationsyt4646 Anyone who thinks that must be VERY young and only started using the internet in 2021, because this type of humour has been rampant for decades.
I feel like this movie really worked in the comedy department but didn't appeal to fans because it strayed away from the original story that was so good.
Agreed. Though at the same time, I think fans of the original show would still enjoy this more than those who aren’t or haven’t watched it. I mean, it DOES help to know the context of Zane being a robot.
@@spider-man9118 Hey man, as strange as I think it is to spam the same comment on different posts, your attitude seems aight and although I’m still non-religious your explanation I’ve had the chance to read was pretty interesting and you make some good points. You take care man.
The only reason people hate this film ios because it’s attached to the ninjago name. Because it was so diffrent people didnt like it including me. If ninjago wasnt a show then maybe more people would like this
@@Paccyd33 it would’ve been fine if it just stayed as something that no one brings up again, but instead they thought it would be a great idea to change a good show to the style, mood, and theme of a comedy movie, instead, even the show had much more of a serious and dramatic tone.
@@Paccyd33 sure but I thinks it’s great how they went off track with the same “daddy issues” idea. It’s so funny and out there lol 😂 I’m not attacking btw just my opinion
2:32 Most incredible, most beautiful speech of the eon. A tear ran down my face and I rethink my whole entire life when I hear it. It is life-changing.
I usually don't like when American comedies do the "everything is a joke" writing, but in Ninjago, and Lego Batman it works, I suppose mainly because as a cartoon I don't have to pretend this is how real people talk.
Lego’s games and movies are really more focused on comedy which is why games like Lego Star Wars (all variations) are more known for the over the top humor. It’s what they do and most of the time they do it really well.
i love how this is how the lego movies (the actually lego movies + batman and ninjago) are written like this, cause at least int the original lego movies, it's a kid playing with toys, and with the ninjago one, it's a kid listening to a story, hence the goofiness of it all, and it works well imo
@@godricktheminecrafted3113 I’m making a joke about how it just looks like the creators just forgot to animate Zane’s walk, like when you play a game in pre-alpha or something, and the creators haven’t animated the character model yet so you just glide around in a T-pose.

Thanks for being open, my fellow ninjago fan! *BUT* before the evidence, I have a few things to say (or in this case, type). Psalm 118:8-9 “8 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans. 9 It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in princes.” *NOTE:* I can’t prove God to you. It all comes down to your choice to put your trust in Jesus Christ. That’s all faith is-TRUST. Unfortunately in these recent years, science and “religion” (as we know them today) have bastardized each other and themselves. Point is, faith is trusting in Jesus. It’s not a blind jump into what people deem “irrational.” Billy Graham said something reminiscent of that. I have no power over you. I can only tell you, but I can’t force you. (I mean, we’re conversing online lol. I’m not at your location… yet) james 4:8 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. He said with the most emotion he’s had in the entire movie (I don’t hate anything about his character really but I find it funny that they let his va steer away from the monotone a bit for that line)
First time seeing this movie, 5:22 made me bust out laughing so loud. Yeah it was funny to see Kai carrying out Cole, but just the fact that Kai practically throws the dude to the ground in a casual manner I wasn't expecting that at all lol
I just wish the movies add characters that are beloved in the show like Dareth,Ronin,Gale Gossip,Scales, mail man guy And plus i hate the idea of making a ninjago movie with no spinjitzu since spinjitzu is really important to the show
2:16 While I’m an OG fan of Ninjago and watched practically every season with my bro even still to this day, know so much of the lore and grew up with it so much I developed a hatred for this movie for deviating from the norm of the series, but now older and was able to get over and enjoy the movie. I WILL NEVER GET USED TO LLOYD CALLING WUU UNCLE… 🤣
Same. Actually it puts a smile on my face that Lloyd actually has family that he can love and trust. Man I love the show so much too. Wish it had the plot of the show rather than being it’s own movie
Morons in this chat seem to not realize he didn't call him "Uncle wuu" a ton in the actual lego Ninjago series. We all know he's his uncle but he usually still called him "Sensei" or just Wuu as far as I remember.
Obviously it’s not connected to the show at all and that’s really weird, but I always thought this movie was genuinely hilarious. This video confirmed my theories. Thanks for all the likes even though this is probably the most boring comment I’ve ever written lol
I mean, maybe it's connected. In the 8th season, Sons of Garmadon, Cole ( I think ) say something about how the time travels could change the reality of the universe, taking off his hood and revealing the tweaked movie redesigns. Edit: Tommy Andreasen sait that it's just a meta joke, so ...
I remember when I first played the game and they revealed that Lloyd was Garmadon's son and I thought it was a huge twist to reveal in the first level Then I watched the show and found out that it was revealed in like the fifth episode
This got me laughing so hard 2:27 Guy: We got a message from your brother Garmadon. Do you want to hear it? Wu: Oh yea? What did he say? Guy: He says 'Your a big stupid dumb dumb with a dumb face and a big butt and your butt stinks and you smell like a butt' Wu: That sounds like my brother 😂😂
This movie veered off in a very different direction from the previous seasons, and clearly influenced the coming seasons, but honestly, as a comedy, it just WORKS. I like the details of Jay being a bit more timid and non-risky, thus being an adork (an adorable dork), or how Cole constantly tries to look as cool as possible, or how Zane just glides around... These quirks are hilarious, and the interactions are entertaining and witty, and the smallest details of how the gang runs around differently, or has slightly different reactions to the same thing, it's super charming. Still probably the weakest of the LEGO movies, and definitely one that annoyed a lot of fans, but it's nice. apologies for typing up a review in the comments i just needed an excuse to point out how frickin' funny it is Edit: Please don't fight each other in the replies for having different opinions. ._."
The only thing i disagree on is it being the weakest movie. Tbh i think it's one of the strongest. For the reasons you mentioned! And the little easter eggs! They reference seasons via straight dialogue rips or references to certain scenes. The amount of care and effort that went into this movie, I'd say it was better then the show itself (and I'm a die hard ninjago fan!)
@@lancelotrichmond I felt that them tossing all these little references was kind of rubbing salt in the wound- While I do think that there are actually some definitive versions of pre-existing characters here, it was, again, different than usual, and, to be honest, even as a standalone movie, its themes kind of pale in comparison to the previous LEGO movies. still a better movie than big hero six
@@imthecoolestguyalive i agree until the second lego movie. That movie was WHACK but nothing will ever compare to the first lego movie, I'll agree. But the humor in TLNM was top notch. And I'm glad it's slowly bleeding into the show. The show definitely needed an upgrade on the humor 💀
Quite frankly, I think is the strongest LEGO movie, it's hilarious and connects the old seasons to the new ones, even though it's not connected to them. Also the comedy. I quote lines from this movie 10 times an hour, so yea.
And dont forget when Master Wu was explaining their true power, and him saying "green" to Llyod with the most unhinged tone ever. This movie is just perfect

The only issue I have with this movie was the newer character models. The voices and the movie as a whole was great just threw me off on how the looked.
@@negativezer0741 definitely Kai’s hair looking like a flame is weird for me and Zane’s looking more of a fake “human” compared to the rest also doesn’t work for me, but it’s a nice redesign overall
@@Blu_Moon_Owl I agree with you about Zane, but Kai is kinda 50/50. While the flame hair is a little bit silly, it keeps in line with his character of caring for his image ( Imagine all the time he spends in the bathroom just to make his hair look like this ) Overall, I think these designs were the ones that settled ground for the designs of the 11th season and forward wich are amazing.
@@halfabrick6946 I still prefer the old designs(I miss Jay being a red-head :( ), but I don't understand the hate the designs got tbh. The designs and the way they act fit this movie pretty well.
I feel like he shouldn't be a robot and should simply be a human that struggles with sarcasm and social cues (as an autistic person I'd definitely relate to him)
A lot of the show’s fandom doesn’t like the movie, unfortunately, which I get since it’s not canon in the slightest and isn’t a very good representation of everything us fans love about the show, but I’ve still always enjoyed it a ton. It’s genuinely hilarious and though I don’t feel it lives up to its Lego movie predecessors, it’s still a solid movie.
I think I only recently gave it another chance because of a fanfiction (same people but not really. Cant remember the author's name, but its good). Honestly, glad I did. Its good when you think of it as its own entity, like its maybe taking place in an alternate universe or something.
@@bethanybrookes8479 Yeah, that’s the way I like to think about it. Just like an alternate universe or something. I’ve read the fanfic in question and yeah, it’s pretty good!

As someone who watched the Lego ninjago series (only like the first few seasons because I completely forgot they still make more) I loved this movie. Did it stray away from the original plot? Yes it did, but to me it didn’t matter because it was hilarious and genuinely good. I like to imagine it as some sort of alternate universe kinda thing and I think that’s what most people should view it as because that’s ultimately what it is considering it’s in a different setting. I love this movie and I will not listen to the haters who say it made no sense to the original shows plot
@@veryironicveryhistrionic true, I did see that character design change and it does suck when companies do that. They should have left them as is to separate canon from the movie. That was a mistake on their part for sure.
@@mushliii think they were genuinely good redesigns though. At least the hair. I have to say it, some of their hair was atrocious in the first seasons- 😭
I also think it’s an alternative universe type of thing with this movie. I never understood why no one liked it, because I didn’t hold it up to the standards of the original. People forget that this is a "Lego" movie, and I know Ninjago is LEGO, but LEGO likes to poke fun at itself. The movies are just pure comedy; they aren’t meant to be taken seriously. So, I see this more as a parody of the Ninjago series.
Kai is definitely the type who would carry a homie saying I gotchu when the guy they're carrying can run and he's just being a homie Edit: Should I rephrase?
My guy you actually bought the ninjago movie on yt. My respect for you has increased lol Edit (8/6/2022): wow why does this have so many likes Edit 2 (8/8/2022): why are u still liking
I actually loved this movie after I started thinking it as separate from the show. It genuinely made me laugh when I first saw it, and I kind of want to watch it again tbh It also had immaculate sibling writing with wu and garmadon. Accurate brother behavior.
the whole joke that Loyd doesn't know how to catch is really funny to me the fact that he doesn't know how to catch bc he never played that with his dad (he didn't really have a dad so) is a smart joke
as innacurate as this movie is i still think it's really funny and i like these 'parody' versions of the actual characters it had a lot of funny moments and i like rewatching it it's not my favorite lego movie but i still love it :O
i actually like how this movie went off the beaten path of ninjago lore, bc when i was a kid watching ninjago and playing with the sets i definitely wasnt lore accurate either, I was just making my own stories with the characters, sort of what was done here. tldr i love this silly ninjago highschool secret heros au
I think that’s what they were going for. Honestly, I think with the vibe of all the LEGO movies, it’s like someone else playing with the play set and creating their own story. It’s gonna be offbeat every once in a while. I didn’t have the sets when I was a child, but I did write fanfiction. Let me tell you, for any shows I was into at the time, none of the stories made sense in the lore or were accurate, but it was my own version. But if I just have the place that I probably make my own version of Ninjago
holy freak guys thanks for blowing this video up i was not expecting it :O if you have suggestions for other movies you want me to do im all ears :)

Thanks for being open, friend! Get ready, because there’s a lot to read. You have been warned…
Ayo, i don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested. (I’m talking archaeological evidence, miracles caught live, arguments against evolution, divine revelation, science, cosmology, fulfilled prophecy, evidence for the Bible outside of the Bible, God’s work in people’s lives, etc.)
Remember one can’t prove God to another. It’s all your choice to see Him or not. Billy Graham spoke about this.
*evolutionary inconsistencies:*
everyone believes that the chance of two snowflakes being the same is 0, yet there are people who believe in evolution occurring? (See below)
“The mathematical probability of a SINGLE CELL coming about by chance is 1/10340,000,000, the fraction 1 divided by 1 followed by 340 million zeros! * And then the reproduced cell must live long enough to do the same on assumption that the above actually happens.” Taken from *Evolution is mathematically impossible.* -“Ghana Web”
It’s more sensible to believe that by chance, one bacteria, that had exactly 250 proteins to survive, is what started the wide variety of species instead of the thousands of animals that survived the flood that caused the number of species that live today?
We found Noah’s Ark hanging out in Turkey, along with anchor stones marked with crosses signifying that it’s a revered place, along with altars and many other related findings near the area. Look it up, it’s good stuff (HolyLandSite on UA-cam).
*cosmology and divine revelation*
The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC). The idea that the Earth floated in space was concocted circa 500 BC. Remember, time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000 BC, year 420 BC, year 69 BC, year 0 AD, year 1 AD, year 2 AD… and so on.
Job 26:7: “. . .He [God] hangs the earth on nothing” The book of Job was supposedly written at 2100 BC.
Proverbs 8:27: “. . .when He drew a circle on the face of the deep. . .” Proverbs was possibly written between 970 and 686 BC
Isaiah 40:22: “it is He who sits above the circles of the earth. . .” Isaiah was written between 739 and 680 BC.
This doesn’t pertain to cosmology, but it refers to divine revelation/prophecy nonetheless. Scientists are saying that the Euphrates River will dry up by 2040. The Bible already called it.
Isaiah 11:15 “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.”
Revelation 16:12 “The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.”
*EVIDENCE OUTSIDE OF THE BIBLE*

i don’t mean to force anything on anyone, but we have various types of evidence for biblical events, if anyone is interested.

It’s more sensible to believe that by chance, one bacteria, that had exactly 250 proteins to survive, is what started the wide variety of species instead of the thousands of animals that survived the flood that caused the number of species that live today?

I wondered that too. In The Lego Movie, the part where Vitruvius says "We gotta write all that down 'cause I'm not gonna remember any of it, but here we go" was actually an outtake from Morgan Freeman, so it's certainly possible
Pfff perfect
Ninjnerd lol
Did you know that the name La-loyd was a mispronunciation by Justin Theroux but the directors got a laugh and told him to just keep calling him that the whole movie… a lot of the dialog was improvised bc the actors were in the booth together so they were able to bounce off one another!!

"Get off my foot so i can kick you in the head"

I usually don't like when American comedies do the "everything is a joke" writing, but in Ninjago, and Lego Batman it works, I suppose mainly because as a cartoon I don't have to pretend this is how real people talk.
I mean their whole extravagance is kind of the charm of Lego Movies
Lego’s games and movies are really more focused on comedy which is why games like Lego Star Wars (all variations) are more known for the over the top humor. It’s what they do and most of the time they do it really well.
i love how this is how the lego movies (the actually lego movies + batman and ninjago) are written like this, cause at least int the original lego movies, it's a kid playing with toys, and with the ninjago one, it's a kid listening to a story, hence the goofiness of it all, and it works well imo

more evidence for the Bible concerning cosmology and divine revelation in job 26:7, proverbs 8:27, Isaiah 40:22 (read on)
The idea that the earth was round can be dated back to 600 BC in Greece. It was more widely accepted around the 3rd century (300 BC-201 BC) The idea that the Earth floated in space was concocted circa 500 BC. Note: time was “labeled” differently back then. for example, year 3000, year 420, year 69, year 0, year 1, year 2… and so on.
This one doesn’t pertain to cosmology, but it refers to divine revelation nonetheless. So you know how the Euphrates River is drying up? Well, guess what? People in the Bible are saying: “Been there, done that.” Read on to learn more.
Isaiah 11:15 “The Lord will dry up the gulf of the Egyptian sea; with a scorching wind he will sweep his hand over the Euphrates River. He will break it up into seven streams so that anyone can cross over in sandals.”

*There are also non-Christian sources who have confirmed the existence and divinity of Jesus, some of which were hostile towards Christianity, such as:*
Thallus (52 AD), who said Jesus lived, was crucified, and confirmed the darkness and earthquake that followed Christ’s crucifixion;
Tacitus (56-120 AD), who called the followers of Christ “Christians,” confirmed that Jesus was crucified under Pontus Pilate’s command;
Talmud (400-700 AD), confirmed that the disciples were martyred for their faith, and confirmed Jesus was executed the day before the Passover, and said Jesus had “magical” powers;
Pliny the Younger (61-113 AD), who said that the Christians thought Jesus was/is God in the Flesh (God the Son);
Phlegon (80-140 AD), who said Jesus had the ability to predict the future, and confirmed that Jesus was crucified during Caesar’s reign, confirmed Jesus rose from the dead, and confirmed He showed His wounds to confirm He was crucified;
Celcus (175 AD), who said Jesus was born of a virgin, said His father is a carpenter, and confirmed Jesus had miraculous powers;
(See cold-case Christianity for more details)
Here’s the physical evidence of Jesus and His Resurrection:
1) No persecution would have started if He hadn’t come back (even the disciples thought Jesus would never make the ultimate comeback)
2) The Roman soldiers would have paid with their lives if they failed at their jobs
3) there was a 2-4 ton rock that 11-12 guys would have to move (The disciples deserted Him, remember? They didn’t have any help. Everyone said, “Crucify Him!” major L to those opposed to Jesus)
4) there was a Roman seal which was a metal pin that sealed the tomb stone (they would have to break that off; there were well-trained Roman guards there as well).
5) Stealing the Jesus’s body isn’t something the disciples would do (besides Judas. Although he hung himself after feeling remorse for betraying Jesus).
6) the disciples wouldn’t die for what they knew would be a lie. (The lie being Jesus never made the ultimate comeback. They were called to not be liars. I mean, they hung out with the Son of God/God in the flesh. Come on, now).

The only thing i disagree on is it being the weakest movie. Tbh i think it's one of the strongest. For the reasons you mentioned! And the little easter eggs!

While the flame hair is a little bit silly, it keeps in line with his character of caring for his image ( Imagine all the time he spends in the bathroom just to make his hair look like this )
Overall, I think these designs were the ones that settled ground for the designs of the 11th season and forward wich are amazing.
@@halfabrick6946 I still prefer the old designs(I miss Jay being a red-head :( ), but I don't understand the hate the designs got tbh. The designs and the way they act fit this movie pretty well.
The whole entire La-Loyd scene got me so much. Funniest scene in the entire movie 😂
3:58 i like to imagine that the voice actor for garmadon messed up the line here and they just kept it in the movie
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
0:57 “Ow! That was like in my kidney!” Lol
Zane is honestly the best character. I love him so much.
Me too
Finally someone that knows who the best character is. 💙💙💙
@@estheribok5323 Zane?
And Lord Garmadon 😂😂😂 Honestly Lord Garmadon and Zane carried the comedy in this movie
I feel like he shouldn't be a robot and should simply be a human that struggles with sarcasm and social cues (as an autistic person I'd definitely relate to him)
6:04 “you still don’t have fingers and toes” 💀
💀💀💀💀💀
Garmadon was the best character in the whole movie and my favourite version of him. I'm glad they brought back some of that in season 10
6:19 whenever I see this just can’t stop laughing 😂
He just levitates like a champ
2:17 has the best expression
I will forever wonder why that didn't become a meme
0:58 Honestly I think the Wilhelm scream was overused, but it's still funny

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Garmadon's back must hurt really bad after carrying this whole movie all by himself.
0:31 notice how Zane never mentions Ringo 😂
And I would be their computer
Jay or Cole would definitely be Ringo 😂😂😂
Zane is just a more elegant version of everyone's first stop motion videos where the legs don't move.
“Well f you think you can see me, why don’t you shoot me?”
*soots^
“Hey- ow!”
I unironically loved this movie, and this is coming from someone who grew up with lego ninjago.
Zane was so out of pocket in this movie 😭😭 omg I remember actually going
“Zane…what?”
4:18 “Oh, Look at me! I’m Master Wu! Today’s lesson is something totally boring!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I love this movie and I will not listen to the haters who say it made no sense to the original shows plot
literally my thoughts exactly, you summed up my opinion of the movie perfectly
@@heyimcodyy1595Same here! Ninjago came up with the best comedic "What If" way before Marvel did 😂
@@veryironicveryhistrionic true, I did see that character design change and it does suck when companies do that.
So, I see this more as a parody of the Ninjago series.
shit on this movie all you want, the humor just hits
Kai is definitely the type who would carry a homie saying I gotchu when the guy they're carrying can run and he's just being a homie
Edit: Should I rephrase?
I agree, I think you don’t have to rephrase though.
1:56 nya in that scene: “HOW DARE YOU OFFEND ME MORTAL!”
Even the most evil of dad’s fear their wives 3:15 lol
Yep
My guy you actually bought the ninjago movie on yt. My respect for you has increased lol

Edit 2 (8/8/2022): why are u still liking
2:11 Is that "It's a hard knock life" from Annie???? I'm crying
I actually loved this movie after I started thinking it as separate from the show. It genuinely made me laugh when I first saw it, and I kind of want to watch it again tbh
It also had immaculate sibling writing with wu and garmadon. Accurate brother behavior.
the whole joke that Loyd doesn't know how to catch is really funny to me
the fact that he doesn't know how to catch bc he never played that with his dad (he didn't really have a dad so) is a smart joke
5:51 “oh look a civilian airliner. LOCK ONTO IT”
0:25 jay is the best 😂
Cole's eyeroll just makes it so much better
Atleast he tries

it had a lot of funny moments and i like rewatching it
it's not my favorite lego movie but i still love it :O

4:03 Garmadon: "nailed it" ,me: "you just broke the 4th wall"

"I think I might be an adrenaline junkie."
says Zane with the most confused face ever.
i actually like how this movie went off the beaten path of ninjago lore, bc when i was a kid watching ninjago and playing with the sets i definitely wasnt lore accurate either, I was just making my own stories with the characters, sort of what was done here.
tldr i love this silly ninjago highschool secret heros au
I think that’s what they were going for. Honestly, I think with the vibe of all the LEGO movies, it’s like someone else playing with the play set and creating their own story. It’s gonna be offbeat every once in a while.
I didn’t have the sets when I was a child, but I did write fanfiction. Let me tell you, for any shows I was into at the time, none of the stories made sense in the lore or were accurate, but it was my own version.
But if I just have the place that I probably make my own version of Ninjago
