Coming back to this after FSU beat LSU 45-24. After this game against Jax State I thought that FSU football would never get back. 2021 was rough. Fans would cheer and boo Jordan Travis in the same game.
Coach Norvell didn't just talk, he did something about it. After this, things definitely changed. Jordan Travis was a different QB last year against LSU. This year, the sky is the limit!
I hope that Norvell can keep the noise down. Let's not get too hyped over one win. Then again, I bet he knows that.

In 50+ years of being a Seminole fan that was pretty close to the most disgusting game I've ever seen them play. I'm not sure the players are aware there are actually rules one has to follow in order to play the game. Quit trying to razzle dazzle teams. Just coach hard nosed fundamentally sound football. Quit celebrating after every tackle, coach the rules. JS had almost as many penalties as the Noles but found a way to play through them. Letting an opposing team plant their flag or even attempt to on our field is a lack of pride. Fix that!

I believe Norvell can turn FSU around, but here is the Huge Difference between Norvell and Bobby Bowden's teams in the 80's. Bowden had Top Assistant Coaches and an Elite Micky Andrews. Norvell's coaches are Average and his Defensive Coordinator is not half the coach Andrews was. Bowden signed Top QB's and had Top Recruiting Classes. FSU has not had a top QB since Winston and consistency has been thrown out of the window. Also the kids coming out of High School today are different than the kids Bowden recruited in the 70's and 80's. They are not as disciplined and are used to winning trophies being in last place. They are the Instant gratification generation. Norvell needs a Stud Defensive Coordinator and an elite recruiter. I wish Deion Sanders could be offensive Coord.
