Well, I'm back everyone. It's been a tough month and a half, but it feels good to get back out and do some camping. For my return video I've found a bank of clothing donation bins that turned out to be the perfect place for a little #stealthcamping. I'm still in #NovaScotia for a bit longer and will be getting much, much more camping done. Stay tuned my friends!

My god, I didn't know his mother passed. So Beautiful Wife, Crazy Neighbor, and mom all passed this close to one another. IDK how you do it Steve, I guess one day at a time. Just know you are loved the world over. You have people who adore you across every continent. Stay strong and don't even think about coming back to this until you are ready or if it just helps you cope. We will all be ok and will be here when you return.

I too have suffered back to back to back loss like you have, Steve. Some days it seems too much to bear. You will never know how much your videos help me and I’m sure others also. I wish I could help you in some way in return. If you ever make it to Arkansas let me know. Seriously. We’ll camp together. Just try to make it I the winter. Summer is brutal here.

Life has been kicking at Steve a lot lately and trying to get him down, yet he keeps going. Truly an inspiration to someone who has struggled with handling life.

How he managed to get a meal for under 20$ at a mcdonalds is beyond me so he's got that going at least.

I only found out today that he lives in Canada! I love your content Steve. When the mother of my kids was pregnant we were forced into homelessness and the first thing I did was spend some money at Walmart on camping supplies and I kept her safe and warm and fed. I drank a few beers while stealth camping in those days and we would smoke a little pot. My favorite spot was behind some large bushy trees in a pea field in Waterloo. Wishing you the best of luck in life.

My condolences. I am 44 and have been homeless off and on since I was 16. I've always had 4 rules when it comes to camping in an urban setting. 1: in late.2: out early.3: NO MESS! 4: low noise(if any). These rules allowed myself,and one friend, to camp at the same business for almost 3 years straight. I love that you incorporate the same things. ❤

Sorry Steve, about your mom's passing. I lost my wife to cancer over 3 years ago. Nothing lasts for ever so we have to be grateful for what we have and what we have had. If your mom was anything like you, than she was a good person. Thank you for your camping videos.

My friend I spent a year and a half in a homeless shelter, I lost my dad and my brother before we went in, and my mom after we got out. I respect your resilience. I respect your strength. I sincerely hope your life settles down. Love your content dude.

I'm new to Steve's channel and this guy has absolutely not had it easy. I see why his fans love him he is such a nice guy and has gone through a lot I had watched like 4 recent videos when I saw the one about his wife and I was almost in tears hearing him talk about her I had to turn it off. Seeing good people suffer and die makes me sad and angry because they are the ones always taken too soon.

She didn't mention whether she and Paul had been camping behind donation bins at the time, but I think it's probable. I'm comforted to hear that your mother was able to exit on her own terms, but I'm nonetheless sorry for your grief, Steve. I hope your mom knew how much joy your work brings to thousands and thousands of people. You're her gift to us.
Yes, Julia would definitely have understood the joy of Stealth. (When not inventing shark repellant, she spent part of WWII flying over Chinese mountain ranges in a rickety two-engine plane overloaded with about eight other Strategic Services staff. Apparently when they were flying through a storm, everybody was singing and cracking jokes.)

I showed your stealth videos to my nieces and nephews (9-12 years old) and they pooled their money to buy a tent. Now they’re recording videos of stealthing, fake “close calls”, and going from place to place. They live on a 40 acres on a flat prairie and their tent is bright orange, but they’re having a blast!
That is so great that they are having fun adventures !!
I remember when I was a little kid doing that as well in my grandfathers front land of his property. Being from Hawaii a lot of the neighbors were close friends so maybe about 5 of my child hood friends and myself would always camp all over my grandfathers land. Sometimes I miss being a kid and having an vivid imagination to where we are on a quest of finding treasures or pretending we are lost and we would have to pitch up tents for the night, some of this gentleman’s videos brings back a lot of nostalgic memories.

Stealth camping is so enjoyable because of that thrill of doing something against the rules, but it's not causing harm and the stakes are never too high to gamble with. It's like a wholesome version of breaking the law haha

Hey Steve, I also lost my wife unexpectedly due to a heart attack this year. I’m in my 30’s and have 3 small children. I feel your pain in a real way and I’m happy that you’ve found some sort of peace. I hope to find my peace soon as well but know that it may take some time. Blessings on you and your journey. May you thrive in life and accomplish your purpose. Mine is to raise my kids to become healthy adults and God willing find a wife to help me do so. Peace brother.

I am so sad to hear that Steve. We figured when we didn't hear from you for a few weeks that your mom had passed. I have no words for you Steve. I lost my mom when I was 25 years old. The pain was unbearable, but the idea of losing my wife too would be 10x more unbearable. Losing them both, I can't even imagine. That is not fair. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Losing the two most important women in your life unexpectedly and in a short time and you still keep your remarkably positive attitude. A great example for all of us.

Steve you are my hero. I grew up in Niagara Falls NY USA so at heart, I’m part Canadian! You are extremely grounded and spiritually strong in your attitude and beliefs on your mom’s passing. Life is shaking in it’s boots! HUNKER DOWN. My shrink told me once, You’ve got a lot of grit. You just tough through the hard parts. That’s you Steve! Anyway, what I really wanted to say is, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your channel. I know you hear this all the time, but somehow, this time with you is like church for some of us. Restoring my faith that men can have humility and love. Time for my own step 2!
As a long-loving (not suffering!) subscriber, I have to say that you continue to be a Godsend of an inspiration, Steve. Remember to do what you need to do, for you, however that may look. Whether that's a load of stealth camping or a load of time off away from youtube and just hanging with CN and Garbage...and anything in between. You know by now that us real fans will always be here.
