Hi I enjoy your videos ! My condolences on the passing of your mother. I'm a senior living in oshawa. There is a historical house near Yarmouth "Jacob Tedford house" Jacob Tedford was my great great grandfather. Hope u get to visit it. Address is No 1 highway in the community of. Dayton. Hope u don't meet a tick. 6:05
This man is going through so much and still has the heart to bring a t-shirt to donate for the “trouble he’s causing” we must protect this man at all cost. Thank you Steve, and god bless you.
My god, I didn't know his mother passed. So Beautiful Wife, Crazy Neighbor, and mom all passed this close to one another. IDK how you do it Steve, I guess one day at a time. Just know you are loved the world over. You have people who adore you across every continent. Stay strong and don't even think about coming back to this until you are ready or if it just helps you cope. We will all be ok and will be here when you return.
I too have suffered back to back to back loss like you have, Steve. Some days it seems too much to bear. You will never know how much your videos help me and I’m sure others also. I wish I could help you in some way in return. If you ever make it to Arkansas let me know. Seriously. We’ll camp together. Just try to make it I the winter. Summer is brutal here.
Steve, my dad just passed away this morning. He was a big fan of your channel. We got to watch some of it together earlier this summer. You brought some happiness and relaxation into his very stressful life. Thank you.
Sorry for your loss. So much death these days, it's wild. Ambulances every day around me, flooded obituaries. Honestly, feels like the end times based on my understanding of the Bible esp. The book of Revelation. The end is nigh, God bless us all 🙏
I showed your stealth videos to my nieces and nephews (9-12 years old) and they pooled their money to buy a tent. Now they’re recording videos of stealthing, fake “close calls”, and going from place to place. They live on a 40 acres on a flat prairie and their tent is bright orange, but they’re having a blast!
I remember when I was a little kid doing that as well in my grandfathers front land of his property. Being from Hawaii a lot of the neighbors were close friends so maybe about 5 of my child hood friends and myself would always camp all over my grandfathers land. Sometimes I miss being a kid and having an vivid imagination to where we are on a quest of finding treasures or pretending we are lost and we would have to pitch up tents for the night, some of this gentleman’s videos brings back a lot of nostalgic memories.

I’m really sorry about your Mum Steve. My mum passed away last year when she was 62. We both loved watching your UA-cam videos… and we only found this out about each other when she was in hospital before she died! Stay strong my friend. Big love
Steve, I don't know you. You probably don't know me. But I like your style of videos and your way of living. You have gone through some big losses in the last few years. I want to express my support. All the best man!
Gotta love Steve. Living his dreams despite the losses he's sustained. When an egg Mac and a stealth camp is your dream, you can easily live the dream. I love how he lives with simplicity without actually being a simpleton.

Hey Steve, I also lost my wife unexpectedly due to a heart attack this year. I’m in my 30’s and have 3 small children. I feel your pain in a real way and I’m happy that you’ve found some sort of peace. I hope to find my peace soon as well but know that it may take some time. Blessings on you and your journey. May you thrive in life and accomplish your purpose. Mine is to raise my kids to become healthy adults and God willing find a wife to help me do so. Peace brother.
Just like Steve you will be okay, you’ll find your peace and so will your kids. Don’t rush to find a new wife so soon, she will just be filling a hole in your heart. Find peace in yourself first my brother
Dude, sorry for your loss. I've lost both my parents this year and it's a transition. But I believe they are in better places than what they had here so for that I am happy. We all only have a short time here so don't forget to enjoy the ride!
100% It's a short ride and you make of it what you can while you are here. I would never want my children or grandchildren to stop living due to grief. I want them to celebrate life and be on their best adventure. So glad you are back Steve. Each step is a progress in moving forward. 🥰
It's very heartening to see Steve power through this hard times as well as the amazing support I've been seeing from viewers. There really is still good in this world.
I'm very sorry to hear about your mother passing. You've had such a rough couple of years, man, and yet you manage to stay positive in the face of everything. You're an inspiration, dude.
Dear Steve, I wanted to let you know that your talking about bear mace as protection when you cannot keep a pew pew with you has been invaluable. I work in a place where victims of domestic violence come in all the time, and recommend it to them for protection vs. regular mace. You have no idea how many people this information has positively impacted. You are possibly saving lives out here. I just thought I'd let you know. Also, I am so sorry for your loss. All the best, The Librarian ❤
That suggestion is illegal in Canada. You can not carry pepper spray to use on people. Bears and dogs are the only legal pepper spray you can buy here, nothing targeted towards criminals.
I'm in northern Maine, and the media just had a big to-do where a can of bear spray supposidely 'exploded' in an apartment and the family had to be evacuated .. rolling my eyes here, and to add to the drama, then the rest of the apartments in the building had to be evacuated. It seems like they are trying to make it so nobody will have access to it maybe? Just be aware of what they are doing.
Steve i know you don’t know me nor have a single clue of my existence on a personal level, but myself and others definitely know of yours. You are the reason why some of us even use youtube. You are the reason why some of us started camping and exploring the outdoors more. Personally, you are the cause of my smile from week to week or month to month, despite how long it takes for your next upload. I look up to you in many ways. I just wanted to say that we are all so proud of you. And that you are Loved beyond comprehension. We are all here for you Steve.
"When life attacks you, you gotta take life on" I lost my dad in July, and my mom a few years back. Damn man, it's been the worst few weeks here recently and I really needed to hear that. Your positive framework inspires me to keep going, and I hope you know that just being you really helps people. Thanks Steve - LARDOON.
It's always hard losing a family member, especially a parent, but it's good that she died having lived the life she wanted and that she passed without pain. I respect the heck out you for staying so positive despite the horrible losses you've recently experienced. It inspires me and so many others I'm sure. Keep doing what you do, Steve!
Some tips for keeping ticks off. Stay out of the woods and talk grass, if you can't then wear a long sleeve shirt, pants, put your socks over your pants because they will jump and attach to your inner thigh. Ask me how I know 😂
As a long-loving (not suffering!) subscriber, I have to say that you continue to be a Godsend of an inspiration, Steve. Remember to do what you need to do, for you, however that may look. Whether that's a load of stealth camping or a load of time off away from youtube and just hanging with CN and Garbage...and anything in between. You know by now that us real fans will always be here. Rest in Peace, Mama Wallis. You raised a great man.
The stealth cam idea takes this whole thing to the next level! I'd love to see you use it in more videos, hiding it next to paths and places with people so you can see what's happening! You're an inspiration in life Steve, my condolences for your recent events... It takes a strong man to get back up and say" Life, I'm coming for you!" Stealth camping is so enjoyable because of that thrill of doing something against the rules, but it's not causing harm and the stakes are never too high to gamble with. It's like a wholesome version of breaking the law haha

Yep I agree, His mom was probably very proud of him and for good reason! Love the guy because he's just a regular Canadian dude doing his thing. Total respect and I know he will do well as he takes on life.
i always love how Steve cracks his step 2 open with all the nervousness and sneaking ability of a kid hiding behind curtains from their mom lol
Sorry for you’re loss Steve. Your Mother raised a true Gentleman. Lovely to see you back .
This guy is such a beast. Life has put him through the absolute ringer this last year and he just keeps going. What an inspiration, I'm not only proud of his resilience, but I'm also thankful to have such an example in my life. Keep on hunkerin down, Steve!
Same❤
So true!
Man, I can't lie, when you said "life, I'm coming for you", it gave me both chills and a tear. We love you Steve. I hope you know you have over a million of us rooting for you, in all you do.
I’ve said it before, & I’ll say it again. We Love Ya Steve! Thank you for entertaining us brother!
We're with you, Steve!
Top man Steve , ❤
I would like to point out how big of a champ this man is. He's suffered loss after loss but is still here making content. What a legend
Well said. Steve means the world to us
Steve, you make me realize that life is a constant stealth camp against death. Raising a Step 2 in appreciation of you!
"When life attacks you, you've got to take life on". Im so happy I clicked on this video today, I've been struggling with intense anxiety attacks nearly this whole week but youve been giving me the energy i need to get the things i need to do done. Not gonna take it without a fight anymore!
I will crack open a step two in honor of your mother. I wish you and your loved ones much strength.
Sorry about your mom. Glad she did life her way. Glad you are back
I hope your mum had peace of mind knowing her son was sharing something he loved with a million people.
She definitely had something to be proud of.
"Life, I'm coming for you" and you've got 1.38m people rooting for you Steve - stay strong ❤
Agreed, probably 2M plus including viewers who haven't subscribed 😊
your mom and your wife had one amazing man loving them, grief is hard but it get easier with time, sending my love
This man's resolve will never not be inspiring. Recently lost a loved one around the same time your mom passed and seeing you be able to still find strength has given me a bit of hope. Wishing you well Steve, continue to stay strong, when you can.
Steve, you’ve got this. You are making the spirits of your loved ones so incredibly proud. Keep it up.
Thank you:)
I feel for you man. You've lost many people recently. I have no idea how you are so resilient. We love you man
A lot of people are losing people these past couple of years, it's heartbreaking 🙏
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
“Life, I am coming for you”.
This goes deep man. Most of us have not experienced your losses but with this strong statement you reminded a lot of us (I think) to “own life”. Thanks 🍀
Video dropped 20 mins ago. It’s 22+ mins long and nearly 450 comments. Shows how much love you have your community has for you Steve! Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers!
“When sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions”... You're a good man Steve and stronger than you realise.
Rest in peace to your beautiful mother. We all know she is proud of you 😃
Steve has the most sincere comment section ever! Love watching Steve’s adventures and everyone opening up and bonding as a group! Thanks for helping us come together!
Sorry to hear about your Mum’s passing. You have a whole community here that will support you in any way we can. 👍🏻
Dude, two losses within a year is no joke. You’re a very strong man Steve, glad you’re here and much love & prayers to you and your family! Stay strong
Steve this world needs more men of your caliber. I dont know how often you are in the USA but a stealth camping video in South Dakota would be delightful to see and i think you would love our state. I wish you nothing but the best, your videos have been a little piece of adventure for me when i cant go out. Thank you and never stop.
Sorry to hear about your mother, you've had a tough 13 months. Hang in there, Steve. Hey everyone, STEVE IS BACK!! Great video and I will NEVER unsubscribe from this channel! Thank you!
So sorry about your Mom, Steve. Happy you're at peace with her passing.
Thank you for the video, and please take it easy.
I lost my husband 4 months ago, my mother last year. I am learning to put one foot in front of the other and keep going. You really do soothe my soul and inspire me to keep finding joy. Thank you for being you!
I am sorry for your loss and I wish you continued peace.
Lol shhhh ‘drops pot” lmao 😅
RIP Ma Dukes,, lost mine April 20th, feels like yesterday... What a kick in the guts.. I moved her in my home for last 5 years, she was 84, lived life..Damn
I dare anyone to say an unkind thing to you Steve. All of us fans would be there for you. You’re a national treasure and I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with so much this year. You’re right, life is for the living. I hope you find some small joys during each day.
When his wife died there were trolls saying that Steve killed her, I couldn’t believe it.
@Rountree1985 Um...was your comment really necessary 🤷🏼
what a nice comment - if anyone deserves the love its Steve!
Not just in Canada. We love him in the States too
OMG ! Say it ain't so !!!!!
LETS GO STEVE! Stay strong brother! Your mother will be watching you with pride. You carry her legacy well my friend.
He knows you
No matter what, you've been resilient in the face of adversity. "Life, I'm coming for you!" Wow, just wow. You're so inspiring Steve, thank you.
What a son👏🏼. As a man who’s lost their mom, I know what you’re going though and all I can say is, you’re mom is so proud of you.
Gotta love Steve. Living his dreams despite the losses he's sustained. When an egg Mac and a stealth camp is your dream, you can easily live the dream. I love how he lives with simplicity without actually being a simpleton.
Perfectly said my friend!
When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you.
"You're coming for life!"Well we are all glad to take the ride with you Steve.Saddened by the unfortunate news about your mum.Condolences and thoughts with you Steve!
That moment with the guy tossing things in the bins is a good reminder to be vigilant when you're out at night or in a sketchy area. Steve was literally one foot away, hiding just out of sight, and that guy never even knew.
Sincerely doubt anyone would say anything to you once they found it was you; you're a national treasure,Steve
God bless you,Steve. Keep your heart and body safe. We who watch you know the trails and tribulations you have gone thru. Stay strong and know we love you.
Peace brother.
sorry for your loss.. very difficult ..I can only imagine . May you and your Kinder thrive as well!
God bless you, brother!
Great to see you, Steve, coming at life! We all need that motto
.
❤❤❤❤
Tough year for you too, wishing you well!
Thank you to Mother Wallis for bringing this wonderful guy into this world. May she rest in peace and catch up with beautiful wife ❤
Amen
There are no words except thank you for continuing to bring us all this enjoyment while you go through such complications in life. Stay safe 🙌
It's very heartening to see Steve power through this hard times as well as the amazing support I've been seeing from viewers. There really is still good in this world.
We all love Steve! And btw, when I first saw the title, I honestly wondered if he was going to sleep IN the bin!!!
I'm very sorry to hear about your mother passing. You've had such a rough couple of years, man, and yet you manage to stay positive in the face of everything. You're an inspiration, dude.
Dear Steve,
I wanted to let you know that your talking about bear mace as protection when you cannot keep a pew pew with you has been invaluable. I work in a place where victims of domestic violence come in all the time, and recommend it to them for protection vs. regular mace. You have no idea how many people this information has positively impacted. You are possibly saving lives out here. I just thought I'd let you know.
Also, I am so sorry for your loss.
All the best,
The Librarian ❤
That suggestion is illegal in Canada. You can not carry pepper spray to use on people. Bears and dogs are the only legal pepper spray you can buy here, nothing targeted towards criminals.
I'm in northern Maine, and the media just had a big to-do where a can of bear spray supposidely 'exploded' in an apartment and the family had to be evacuated .. rolling my eyes here, and to add to the drama, then the rest of the apartments in the building had to be evacuated. It seems like they are trying to make it so nobody will have access to it maybe? Just be aware of what they are doing.
This gentle soul lost his wife and mother in a short span. God bless yah Steve, we love you.
Thanks for sharing this adventure! Take care, looking forward to another adventure soon!
"When life attacks you, you gotta take life on"
I lost my dad in July, and my mom a few years back. Damn man, it's been the worst few weeks here recently and I really needed to hear that. Your positive framework inspires me to keep going, and I hope you know that just being you really helps people.
Thanks Steve - LARDOON.
Same buddy. Lost my pops in March....stay strong sir
Ask me how I know 😂
I'm sorry it's been a rough couple of years. Keep kicking butt and we love ya, Steve!
❤
I'm so sorry Steve & Steve's sister. Losing your parents is just horrible.
💯👍
not all heroes wear capes. in fact some of them sleep behind donation bins and signs and stuff. we all should strive to be as strong as you steve
Steve!! There you are. Glad you're back, we've missed you. Keep taking it easy as you need though, we all ♥️ you
The stealth cam idea takes this whole thing to the next level! I'd love to see you use it in more videos, hiding it next to paths and places with people so you can see what's happening!
You're an inspiration in life Steve, my condolences for your recent events... It takes a strong man to get back up and say" Life, I'm coming for you!"
Stealth camping is so enjoyable because of that thrill of doing something against the rules, but it's not causing harm and the stakes are never too high to gamble with. It's like a wholesome version of breaking the law haha
04:54 The delightful look of caution on Steve's face as he tries to quietly crack open a "Step Two". Even in drinking a beer, Steve is polite to his neighbors. Dude is like Canadian with extra Canada sauce. Love ya, Steve.
Your patience with simply ordering some fast food to your preference with so many roadblocks after what you've dealt with is astonishing. Kudos to you, you're seriously a role model
Hunker down.
His patience is seriously a role model for me. Even only ever having dealt with a few issues in life nothing compared to Steve I would've gone full Falling Down after that mcdonalds encounter
Steve you are my hero. I grew up in Niagara Falls NY USA so at heart, I’m part Canadian! You are extremely grounded and spiritually strong in your attitude and beliefs on your mom’s passing. Life is shaking in it’s boots! HUNKER DOWN. My shrink told me once, You’ve got a lot of grit. You just tough through the hard parts. That’s you Steve! Anyway, what I really wanted to say is, thank you for your hard work and dedication to your channel. I know you hear this all the time, but somehow, this time with you is like church for some of us. Restoring my faith that men can have humility and love. Time for my own step 2!
Losing the two most important women in your life unexpectedly and in a short time and you still keep your remarkably positive attitude. A great example for all of us.
Lost my mother (2006) father(2018), and oldest brother(2015) while in palatative care. Between losing your wife and your mother, I understand the pain of losing the latter, but I'm lucky enough to have the woman I've been with for 35 years still with me. God be with you, brother! Keep on keeping on!
Your wife and mom are looking down at you smiling. Keep it up Steve!
If everyone was as pleasant as Steve this would be a perfect world! I’m sorry for your loss Steve.🙏
I retired from the army 7 years ago. With in 4 years of retirement I lost 5 of my close family members one by one. Your UA-cam channel really did help me through some of those times. I'm very, very sorry. You do, you boss, God bless, and thank you for your channel.
My father just passed last week. Seeing your attitude to take on life is really encouraging Steve.
Condolences to you, Robert. God be with you.
My father passed away in early August. His name was Robert Paulson. Strange how the world works sometimes.
My condolences to you, Julian and you, Luke. It is always hard to say goodbye.
Condolences Robert and Luke❤🕯️🌸
Loss and sadness will never wane from your hearts but life will spur you on and keep you going.
We all have loved ones that leave this world and they give us the spirit to move forward.
You all have my sympathies and condolences. ❤
I'm very sorry to hear about your mom, Steve. You've consistently demonstrated what a stand-up guy you are. I'm positive your mom was very proud of you. Keep it up!
