It sounds like Tom's suspension just needs to be dialed in a bit more, as far as a 4 stroke for hard enduro, they run quite a bit hotter than a 2 stroke and the other and probably the biggest draw back is how easily they flame out and stall, the latest XC and the XCW's new fork with the 6500 kit is comparable to the Cone Valve forks but for a much more reasonable cost, Cone Valves are hard to beat but they should be for what they cost.
I have the 2023 350 xc-f, stock suspension works awesome for me. I absolutely love how the bike runs. my first 4 stroke, they are so easy to ride compared to my old 2 stroke.
Technical Note: On the new KTM and Husky, with the new closed chamber forks, WP has a 7500 series drop in that will convert them to cone valve. About $1500-$1750 US
I have a '17 TX300 that I have massaged and modified to fit me like a glove. Getting a new bike every year puts you back to square one. Sometimes it's necessary to have a new bike if you are sponsored but most riders would do better on a 4 yr old bike with the benefit of all that testing time
You guys always have a great time riding. I didn’t realize Adam was on a 4 banger. I can’t believe he doesn’t cook that thing during a hard enduro based on the videos youse post. Shouldn’t you be prepping for a wedding and not farting around in the woods?
Prep for a wedding? Find an acceptable suit that fits and that the bride approves of. The women will take care of everything else and then send you the bill. Better get as much time in the woods as you can while you can.
Q/ all the small 250/350 four strokes I’ve owned have flamed out in the technical tigh slow going And some of the 450s and add the 450 will be heavier ?
More to come on this subject... Tom has done something as well!
Its time for Zach to make a bad financial decision 😂
Nothing better than the grunt of a 4 stroke, love it!

ZA1! Been watching your vids for probably 7+ years now. Love seeing your new vids coming out more recently!

Those are for 50cc and 65cc SX look it up. The ones for the big bikes are the 6500 which are close cartridge too
@@dascr32 Not for the 2024 model KTM. Go look it up at WP pro components. Your information is outdated.
@@lostinpa-dadenduro7555 my bad!
I’ve got a 2021 300 with the 6500 kit and love it.
@@Tx300iAAH It’s good stuff.
Great review and explanation of the difference between the 2 bikes, awesome 👌
Another awesome video, New England rocks roots and big hills with great results 😎
Great video. From the camera to the narrating all top notch. Subbed and liked
That was for sure fun to watch.
I’ve got a 6500 kit in my 2021tx300 and love it. Plush up top but amazing bottoming resistance

Grats to Adam for his results at this years TKO, the new 24xc-w TBI is what I'm lusting after
Great video 💪 Enjoyed the back and fourth. Keep up the good work 🤙

I js gotta say my 23 250sx that I got kyb inserts for is on point at the jdays I’ve tried so far
Love my 23 350 xcf! I do need to setup the suspension tho
We all need that bike 😂
Great video Zach!
On the 2023 KTM 350, try the bike in map 1 (white). It should calm the bike down a bit and make it easier to ride (power wise)
the 350xcf is really twitchy off the bottom then it smooths out. I always thought ktm had backwards. I like smooth off the bottom then ramp up.
Sweet , man that huge difference. Yes you need too get the A kit. Lol your wife to be won’t mind 😮.
have you ridden the new ktm300? its a drastically different bike than before
That’s coming…
Are you planning on doing any hare scrambles in the future?
You dont need a new bike, check out Kevin Gallas, does hard endure on a 1979 Honda XL 185
Hello how do you guys feel about the reiju mr 300. I bought the 2022 mr 300 with the kyb suspension. So far for the money it's a great bike
You need to get a 4 stroke especially for hard enduro!
Always have a two stroke and four stroke. Work hard play hard. They both have their Place in the garage
yeah but whats his compression/rebound set to, he could likely adjust his setup to get close
I want better picture quality than 240P
Zak if you could get the beta 350, 390 or would you want 1 of them the way it picked up speed was amazing
4stroke with suspension setup! do it
Stay with the 2 stroke
I also made the mistake of riding a buddies bike with cone valves. 6 months later i bought his conev valves after he sold the bike. 😂
I needed this suspension at TKO 😂
It's been a long time since just the three of went on trail ride. ZAK just do it and buy the 2023 KTM 350 with the upgraded Cone valve fork and shock.
can you buy the new 350 with this suspension as an upgrade ?
How does the suspension compare to an mx bike suspension?
Better frame on the 23. More precise than the 22 models
I want KTM 350 four stroke MX bike so bad.
Q/ all the small 250/350 four strokes I’ve owned have flamed out in the technical tigh slow going

EEEWWWWWW A 4 STROKE
If you ever need to make room for more bike hit me up lol
No stay 2t
maybe those left handed tomato plants are making you guys timid?
Is a diferente bike to!
Claiming rule 😂
never ride a buddies bike, its always been expensive for me😁
It’s like buttah.
No 4 strokes
I got the 2024 ktm 300xc if you’re gonna get a ktm that’s the one to get
Cone valve front end and try the MXtech natty rear shock. Its WAY better than the trax. Like a suction cup to the ground
Adam with grey hair?! Damn we getting old
👌
350XC-F sales after this video: 📈📈📈
The 23 are too stiff, I like the 17 chassis
I’d take the $6k and spent it towards lessons from The Baylor Boys… ..money can’t buy talent…
Why does Tom look stoned this whole episode
Definitely not its an 4 stroke will just flame out constantly compared to a 2 stroke
The most overlooked bike in the KTM catalog is the 250 XC-F. Don't believe me, go ride one with an open mind.
But the bullet, and buy one
2 strokes are superior
Am I crazy, or does Adam have Grey hair??
I wanna see Zack on a four stroke again
Same I thought he was pretty fast on the 250 but he needs a 450 4stroke to try
I’ve been saying this for years, you are faster on a 4 stroke 🫡
