I just finished watching the video, as always a superb video.
Don, thanks for posting the pale chironomid tying video. I use red thread for the butt section but coloring the tying thread with a red marker is a much easier method.

Thanks for watching William and I find it easier to color mark the thread when I’m tying with lighter colors threads.
I can hear for hours to Brian Chan talking about fly fishing still waters.
Blood worms are bad news? How so? Sometimes in spring I catch fish puking giant globs of them up and an imitation works great.
Yes, we agree…Bloodworms are awesome! We probably meant Glassworms and made a mistake if we mentioned Bloodworms are bad.
That whole west end of the lake is increasingly choked with weeds. I barely bother trying to head in there with a trolling motor.
Yes, gets weedy by mid June but May is excellent before the weeds get too high.
