I bought an X2 a few months ago, and found it pretty comfortable out of the box. I weigh 79kg. But it did need tensioning very frequently, although it wasn't anywhere near the end of the adjustment range. However, after two months, around 1000 miles, the rear aluminium frame broke around the second to outermost leather attachment bolt. Looking at the frame and the break it was obvious that there was an inadequate amount of aluminium in this area to cope with the forces exerted on it. I returned the saddle to the dealer and was refunded in full with no further questions asked. Went back to my Brooks B17.
What kind of riding were you doing? I have an X2 and I weigh about the same when I'm loaded down with a full kit, but I'll be using this saddle pretty much exclusively on pavement.
I hear that though you fit into the 83-113kg weight recommendation for the H series, the X series (which says up to 86kg on the website) is far more comfortable for you. What is your weight ?
Yes, both models are the same effective width quoted as 130mm. My sit bones are approximately 120mm and the X2 works really well for me. However, I found the H2 to be extremely uncomfortable due to its rigid unforgiving leather skin. I’m 87kg. Will they fit you? Probably, but I’d contact Selle Anatomica to get their opinion before buying one.
Great review. I’m 85kg as well and didn’t know if i should buy the H2 or X2. Your experience convinces me i would be better with the X2 but I agree with you already tensioning it to the max right at the beginning is disappointing. I contacted Selle Anatomica and even at 85 kg they recommended the X2. They told me to go with the H2 only if I ride 50 miles and more a week, which I systematically don’t do week after week. There are week that i ride more but some weeks I don’t ride at all…I think this is why I’m better with the softer one. Thank you. Your review helped me decide!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m glad you were refunded in full with no further questions asked as that is the proper thing to do.
I hear you in the video about the saddles, but to see it on a bike and with some riding example would help to visualize it better.
Thanks Luigi. I appreciate this feedback and may do another short video to show it being used on my bike. John

It varies but usually 88kg
Is the H2 and X2 the same width?
You think they would fit a 125mm sit bone.
Thanks!
