Seppuku was "spilling your guts" to restore honor to your family or clan after committing a shameful crime, or to avoid capture and being tortured for info by enemies. An assistant would behead the person to end their suffering after, if available. He's his "own worst enemy", torturing himself. So I take it as he's trying to kill his ego, maybe for shaming Camu and others by wallowing in his own grief, and refusing help. Maybe the gut-spilling will be followed by relief. Sudoku's another little gem. Everyone knows the game uses nine digits like a SSN, but if you look up the definition, it's short for "suuji wa dokushin ni kagiru" which translates “the numbers (or digits) must remain single". Being social causes insecurity, his sociability is to not be social, to play alone. Or on digits, he waves with ten percent of his fingers. Someone getting his phone digits won't end well either. It's all like partial ideas you can put together in infinite ways, the more you look.
