This is completely unbelievable!!! You know most of the stuff probably movie props was all done by CNC or hell maybe even plastic but every single part of this is built by hand you deserve some serious mad props You definitely got some seriously mad respect from me.!! And it looks like a lot more other people!!
Dude that thing is so bad ASS...Anyone who likes the movie as I do would love to have one of those in there living room on display...I know I would. Great work your a true craftsman. Be proud, its an awesome piece.
Damn! After a serious motorcycle wreck almost 8 yrs. ago my company brought me back and put me in the machine shop because they thought it would be better on me from the injuries I had. I learned a pretty good bit from guys that I think are excellent machinist, but watching this, I realize I don't know s**t!😁 I did actually learn a few tips on setups I can use from watching this. Excellent video. Welder, fabricator, machinist, man you are true MASTER!👍
Variable aperture, not focus. And I think the aperture leaves need to overlap a bit more, to not be as jagged on the inside circumference. First time i've seen someone injection-mold parts at home though.
20 years ive been melting metal together and the only thing i got on You is tig beads... That whole thing was lessons learned fir sure!!...High five!!....
As a fellow machinist and fabricator, let me just tip my hat to you good sir. This is absolutely top notch work and im surprised it took me this long to discover your channel. Better late than never I suppose. I can't wait to see this all come together. Truly incredible work man. Kudos to you
Absolutely and truly amazing! The moment I saw you fabricating the incisors of the T800...I said to myself what the????!!! such detail, you even managed to articulate the upper and lower dentition! You are a MASTER CRAFTSMAN.
Where would you even learn this ?I grew up watching this film over and over again and at 41 years old still do.The T800 was an ever haunting killing machine during my childhood and seeing this masterpiece just hit home again .what an outstanding skill and talented man and the painstaking amount of hours making this is mind blowing.Much respect from the uk.
Incredible piece of art. You showed during the build the eyes and jaw moving around, I think it would have been cool to show the articulating eyes and jaw in the final show.
watching this and listening to 1980s and 1990s classics, radar love, joan jett, blondie, kiss... damn, does it suit the tech-noir idea and feeling that the sight of terminator gives me... beautiful work...
Fortunatley though the T-800 doesn't have a full set of teeth, it's missing some of the molars at the back, so I only had to make something like 24 vs 32.
Really astonishing work and excellent attention to details. The teeth and the eyes are my favorite parts. Only bit of concern, this is the build of the first terminator. Keep it locked up dude or it'll get us all!
@Smokey Mcb Yes, I am making the rest of it, check out my other videos, though it is not a quick process! It's going to be better than 'posable', It's going to be able to move all of it's joints under it's own control.
Believe me. I know these tools and machines. I worked in an injection molding plant. Congratulations on the excellent work, very well detailed. Amazing!
AMAZING!!! It's like you snuck into the Skynet Terminator factory and secretly recorded the process! I can't imagine how many hours you put into that. And it's functional too! I would have settled for just a replica with light up eyes. LOL.
I wonder if Mythbusters' Adam Savage has seen this? He bought a 1:1 figure from the films and had it plated. He is a huge fan, and talented fabricator. I am positive he would be or was blown away by this project. Incredible workmanship and creativity!
I can't even fathom someone giving this a thumbs down, are they nuts??? As a metal sculpture and automata builder myself, I recognize such incredible talent here! Fantastic!
Thankyou Mr Cameron for inspiring such talented folks into producing brilliant artworks, which in themselves inspire more. And thankyou Andy! My son and I are attempting our own version thanks to your instructions. Very cool.
Absolutely magnificent. It is a work of art. You are a true craftsman congratulations on a superb work of art. The attention to detail is second to none, for example the work involved in the eyes. Can I ask how many hours were involved in this creation? Many thanks for posting this video, cheers Alex from New Zealand.
Thanks for the compliment! I lost track of how much time I spent on this. It took over a year using most of my spare time, must be over 500 hours, not including making all the videos, and just trying to film something whilst doing it takes much longer than it would otherwise. I'm still working on building the rest of the terminator though, so there will be more to come...
Damn. When the Terminators really do rise up, I know exactly who I'm blaming. This is absolutely gorgeous work man!
As a metal fabricator I’ve got to hand it to you, this is incredible. Your attention to detail is astounding, you should be really proud of this.
even just as a welder over here, VERY MUCH AGREE.

how does this not have more likes and views??? UA-cam is holding back a true craftsman and artist! Great work. Thanks for sharing this!
Doesn't have a skank or involve makeup. If he made a makeup video with the skull and included a skank it would take off.
Indeed!
This is a video series that will keep getting views. It will hit 1m

that working jaw knocked me off the chair!! and working eyes with focus function, attention to detail is sick! I love it!
Variable aperture, not focus. And I think the aperture leaves need to overlap a bit more, to not be as jagged on the inside circumference. First time i've seen someone injection-mold parts at home though.
Yes, I wasn't completely happy with the iris mechanism, or some other parts of the eye. That's why I built a 2nd version, there's a video on that too.
AHHHH I cant get my Dremel to spin properly without landing one of those wafer discs in my eye..... You are the MASTER!!!!!
20 years ive been melting metal together and the only thing i got on You is tig beads...

Epic terminator exoskull Hollywood should hire you to do terminator designs.
U r amazingly talented. I don't usually subscribe but for u I did. It's beyond words. U got your talent running in your blood. Excellent work.
I wasn't sure when I saw the thumbnail but this was absolutely mint. I want one!!!!!

Your a really good fabricator man .... I learned a lot from this video. Thanks
I was just looking for an idea for a cast vinyl build. Never thought that this is an actual metal build. Hands down to this build!!!!!
Wow!! Simply wow!! It wasn't Miles Dyson we had to worry about. It's you!! Skynet gets ahold of your blueprints and uses them to create the T-800!!
Absolutely and truly amazing! The moment I saw you fabricating the incisors of the T800...I said to myself what the????!!! such detail, you even managed to articulate the upper and lower dentition! You are a MASTER CRAFTSMAN.
Well done Sir. Outstanding attention to detail.
You've done what i've wanted since i was 6. Congrats on the amazing build

I know less than nothing about metal fabricating, but even I can tell that this is extraordinary work. Bravo!!!
Well done! Bravo! Skynet would be proud!
Out of this world, a remarkable build I was just fascinated all through. How someone could not like this is beyond me.
You just blew me away. What incredible craftsmanship.
Wow, hats off to you sir! This is amazing!!
Absolutely amazing , mad skills and passion right there. Would love to own that
This is the coolest metalworking video I’ve watched or probably ever will watch 👏👏👏
That's crazy amount of work. If I order 1,000 of them. It's end of the world!
The attention to detail, level of expert craftmanship, and pure artistry on display here are astonishing! Phenominal work!
Despite being unable to show emotion, Skynet would be very proud of you.
That's a great fucking job!!! I've been enjoying every single moment of the video!!!
can't believe you barely used any tools, it's so crazy to watch you file metal by hand lol

Somehow, I think I've seen way more of his videos than he has seen of mine (if any)!
Mind blown.....I thought it was casting.....WOW WHAT A TALENT...that guy deserves more money than the actors......he is the real artist....hats off

You sir, are a master craftsman, and a genius.
Congratulations to you. Good job with hands only.
Solid! Good job man, thanks for sharing!
It would have been enough just to build the head, but to add functional eyes right down to the iris is beyond amazing!
No no no no.....! Amazing! AWESOME WORK!!!!!!!!!
Excellent work, now just program a microchip, complete the rest of the body and send it back to 1984.
A good tribute to genius of Stan Winston! R.I.P.
