    When the ceo can explain the mower / work on them like Ed does why wouldn’t you buy a wright? Absolutely incredible the hands on involvement he has on the products. Just made the switch to wright yesterday. Praying for a zk collection system soon. Once again Ed thank you for caring about the product you manufacture and the customers who operator them!

    As a veteran owned and operated lawn care company that services properties in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, I can honestly say having Ed Wright providing an extremely detailed explanation of the product is extremely impressive. Usually the higher ups in just about any company don't have that subject matter expertise in the product as they are more involved with the management of their company and leave the product engineering and subject expertise to their 1st line management and technical / mechanical experts. Also, having Wright in Frederick, Maryland (about an hour from my house), it's great to have that opportunity to tour the Wright MFG factory or talk directly with someone face to face. Hats off to you Ed!

    Absolutely the best and most comprehensive manufacturer's video to showcase a product that I have viewed. Much better than the corporate glossy advertisement type videos you normally see. Congratulations. It adds credibility to the manufacturer and the product.

    Mr. Ed Wright, My Father and I met and spoke with Mr. Dane Scag ( at a JD meeting in Sarosota, FL / JD did not let him speak anymore after the first meeting because he was honest to the dealers ) What he said was something like this: " Mowing in Florida is like the Wild Wild West and every manufacture is a Gun-Slinger; so, if a mower can cut grass in Florida, it will hold up in any other states grass conditions. " My father and I understood what he was saying. Now, I strongly believe that your brand of mowers " Wright Commerical Mowers " will hold up in the Florida " wild wild west for mowers. " I will keep you posted upon my first purchase for a Wright Stander.
    OH YEA !

    What a magnificent masterpiece of mowing engineering. Thank you for this excellently detailed video and for building such an amazing mower. I purchased a ZK 72” with DRW kit last month to tackle the steep hills on my property in Myersville, MD and I couldn’t be happier. Every other mower I tried from Schiller to eXmark to Gravely all dangerously lost control on my hills not to mention bogged out when mowing straight up steep inclines. This mower handles the hills safely and effortlessly. It also cut my mow time from 3 hours to just under an hour.
    My one and only suggestion would be to incorporate some sort of quick lock-out mechanism for the discharge flap, I mostly mow with the flap up but it doesn’t want to stay up on its own. Ive tried adjusting the nuts and bolts that attach it and ended up alleviating the issue with a simple small bungee. I may engineer and fabricate a simple lock out pin device at some point over the winter months. just my 2 cents. I really, really love this machine though :)

    • @lawrencedelong9748

      The biggest problem with a " Rear Discharge Mower " is that they still have a small " specialty niche." I am a true believer in the " rear discharge deck " and it has a different type of cut.... I tried in my local government to get the laws changed for mowing the " roads / parks / and highway right-aways, because the grass clippings were being thrown in street, storm drians and because of safety. However, they still just " mow, blow, and go." ( My quick background: I owned a profitable equipment dealership for 26 years.....2 years old, I sold the dealership with no regrets because I am only 55yr and now I can relax for while ). From this Marine.... OH YEA !

    • @pennyless4tea
      @pennyless4tea 3 роки тому

      Please excuse my ignorance but what is the advantage of rear discharge? Is it a safety issue or convenience of not having the grass clippings blow all over areas where it’s unwanted ? Is it for raking? You’ve peaked my curiosity.

    Hi Ed, really appreciate the in depth review. I frequently mow a property that’s 50 acres and half of it is wooded. They keep a big yard with landscaping and 61” is the largest I can use to get around everything, so a 72” really isn’t feasible for me. I need to upgrade my old brown pad 61 this year, would you suggest an X 61 EFI or a 27hp Kawasaki 61”, I also do a perimeter around all the fields that are put up in the big round hay bales. It takes about 8-10 hours if I do everything in one day. What 61” mower would you suggest for me? Thanks

    Hey Ed, I purchased a brand new 52 inch ZK in May. The left gas tank has been leaking since I bought it. The dealer replaced the cap three times. I've been telling them the threads on the tank are bad thus the reason no caps are fixing the prob. I'm currently using a piece of a plastic grocery bag over the fuel tank opening to keep gas from spilling out on my tire and customer lawns. Can you help me resolve this issue? My dealer is saying their Wright rep is not responding or being helpful to their requests for a tank replacement. My dealer is Neff's Lawn Equipment in Germantown, Ohio. Thank you!

    Currently run 3 zk' (2- 52's & 1- 72). I have a question about my 72 dually. It seems to ride lower than the 52's and catches on a lot of things. Is there something i can do to help stop this from happening? I think it has a skid plate on it.

    • @WrightMowers
      @WrightMowers  3 роки тому +1

      Musi, Awesome--you have on of each size. The dual tires are about a half inch smaller than the very balloon shaped 12" wide single tire. I'm wondering if you maybe also have the weight kit, which is a heavy slab of steel bolted to the bottom. If that's the case, it does get pretty low. -Ed
