I tested a stunning BMW 520D with the superb BMW 8 speed auto. Seating position far too low and uncomfortable, poor mirrors/ rear visibility, lack rear pax space, poor boot space and expensive wheels/ tyres/ maintenance. Kuga solves all these issues and it is a better all rounder than these reviews suggest. People dont just want a raised seating position, they want the more natural SUV seating position.
1.5 diesel is probably a touch too small for a Kuga 4 or 5 up. A higher geared 2 litre should give a better fuel economy/ torque mix. Larger engine, more torque, lower revs. Also with a 1.5 the auto box will sap the power, much better with a manual or larger engine auto.

It's also got a very spacious back seat for social interaction 🚻😅
