  • This ST Line is now the range-topper in South Africa, replacing the Titanium variant. It's priced at just under R550 000 and for your money you are getting the coveted ST badge on your car. But what does that actually mean?
    The 2018 Kuga is a completely new car, with a completely new engine.
    In this video we take a look at the upgrades that are included in the package, as well as take a look at the performance of the model and what you can expect from the 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol motor.
    We also take a look at the boot space and a detailed look at the interior, including the SYNC3 infotainment system. Presenter Ciro De Siena also takes us through the car's rivals - or lack thereof.

    I have the exact same car, same model, even the same platinum white colour and alloys. BTW, to use the boots (tailgate) sensor feature, the key has to be within your vicinity and you don’t wave your leg around the rear, but just a swift kick in and out within that area and you’re good to go! I am also a wheelchair user from the UK, so this feature was a must have for me, although it wasn’t standard and I had to pay £750 for it! My Kuga came in at around £32,000. But I love my Kuga, very efficient and practical. I have a wheelchair hoist fitted in the boot too, which is great. Thank you for this review, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Regards from the UK

    A non-South African here... what's the matter with the Kuga's reputation? Ford sells these here in Europe as well and I've never heard about any major problem with them.

    • @giovannivosloo690
      @giovannivosloo690 5 років тому +1

      Ford South Africa screwed up by not telling the public about a factory recall that caused many Kugas to catch fire and burn to the ground. Some lives were lost and some people sent to the hospital. Thus the bad rep for the Ford Kuga in South Africa. Hope that clarifies it.
