    so glad I found you. My Mother ate raw garlic like crazy before she passed away in 1956 from her heart needing a bypass. (Which did not exist in 1956.) I was 7 then when we lost her. My family has had major heart problems, colin cancer, diabetes, herniated discs/bone on bone discs, arthritis, mental illness, and etc. I believe my Mother lived 20+ years more because the dr said the autopsy showed she should have died when she was 20 years old. She actually passed away when she was 41. My Dad said he always had to eat a raw oinion so he could get into bed every nite. Mother loved garlic. So do I. I'm the youngest of 5 and the only one who made it past 60. I am 72 and I have a heart pacer. i still lovey love garlic and had heard from somewhere that garlic and honey were awesome for our health. thank you for confirming this. God bless always.😇😇😊😊🙏🏼🙏🏼💖💖🕊🕊🙏🏼🙏🏼 Many thanks for sharing your awesome recipe's and ways of living. 🙏🏼💖

I just can't believe that God made our earth and us without making a fix/cure for every part of our bodies ailments. One can't just go with out the other. It's like making a vehicle. I let the mixture age, meaning, I keep it for months before I use it. This way all the nutrients and benefits intensify. The honey will turn dark and more liquid. The garlic cloves will soften and also get dark. I started my big jar before the summer and it’ll be perfect for the fall. Glass jar for the natural, organic and unpasteurized honey from a family member and organic garlic cloves. Never plastic.

    I'm on my 2nd day eating garlic and honey. I also drink a cup of warm water and squeeze a little lemon to drink behind the garlic. I'm doing a three day water fast also. 2 weeks prior to starting this I went on a vegetarian diet. I have more energy, think clearer, good elimination, and hopefully report more when I'm done. My goal is try to continue on 40 days of juicing after the 3 day of fasting is over. I'm doing this at 66 yrs. Thank you for all encouraging seniors. oh yes, I'm praying and studying also.no t.v., worldly entertainment during this time also.

    I do this, crush the garlic then on a big spoon put honey first then place the crush garlic then cover it with honey and swallow. I cover the garlic in hone by adding honey to spoon first then cover the top of the garlic with more honey. It cover almost all so when I swallow I barely taste it. I've done it with garlic, ginger and honey. It has help me with appetite and given lots of energy. I dont feel lazy at all. I work from home and it can make you feel really inactive but with this its feel like your ready to always be on the move. I take two garlic with ginger in the morning and two at night.

    Thanks for you video it was very informative. I kept bees for 30 years and loved it. But you must never use hot water with honey. Sometimes I have heard of people using manukau honey with hot tea which destroys the goodness of honey. Always use cold water. But in the uk we purchase honey in plastic containers which is not good for you. My honey was always spun from the wax cone into a stainless steel extractor and then into a stainless steel filter. After three days it was slowly drained into sterile glass jars and sealed with screw tops. It never touched plastic. I have stopped keeping bees due to cancer. But I go to the super market to see which is the best. Don’t buy honey in plastic jars. If you buy honey in glass jars and it says pure honey. Test by turn it up side down and see how fast it travels from one end of the jar to the other. If it is slow it’s good honey but it’s fast it probably has sugar in it. There are other tests you can follow.

    I made this a couple of days ago using chopped, peeled ginger between the three bulbs of garlic. It is amazing!!! The honey has taken on the ginger taste and I’m going to try it in my tea.
    When you bite into the garlic it gets it’s tang after about the third chew, I usually get a sip of the honey after. I’ve noticed some bubbles rising to the top when I open it in the morning and the honey isn’t as thick as it was at first.
    Eating 2 a day is my regimen now too.
    Thank you.

    I did this today, I poured some honey in a glass quart canning jar first, then added some garlic and it was easy to push down into the honey. I used 3 bulbs total and I also added some peeled ginger after the second bulb then topped it off with the last bulb and ginger and honey to fill the jar. I found honey in a glass jar at the grocery.

    The first time I ate it this morning which was today, I had 1 bulb and my arm had been bothering me by tingling prior to. I felt something in my wrist to my shoulder where the pain had been right after I ate the garlic with salt in it raw.
    Then I remembered to take some more again tonight and I ate 2 this time With salt, and ate Oreo double stuff cookies to chase it. Very soon after I heard a loud ringing in my left ear. Took 3 bites to make it small enough to swallow and the burning will be over quickly if you don't let it sit too long in the mouth. Worth it with the benefits!!!!!

    Garlic toast w/honey🍯 I put butter, 1 or 2 crushed garlic clove & a tablespoon or two of raw honey onto a small piece of warm toast every night before bed. I like buckwheat or wildflower honey best for it's deep color and flavor to help curb the pungentness of garlic. It's amazing to me how well garlic and honey taste when combined.❣

      'Organic' is a term in English meaning free from pesticides and that is it not genetically modified in a laboratory. So 'Non-organic' means that pesticide and or genetic modification were used.

    Yesterday I tried for the first time mincing a clove of fresh garlic waiting a few minutes and adding a tablespoon of raw unfiltered honey. The honey totally covered the garlic. Only tasted the honey when ingested. If you need your garlic oxygenated I fear your garlic will be blocked from oxygen by the honey. Just fresh day by day is best.

    I've also tried boiling garlic in water with added honey (briefly). It becomes really soft and tastes sweet. But this also kills 90+% of the allicin-producing enzyme, so garlic cooked this way is more a dessert than a medicine.

    maybe crushing the garlic before covering it with honey is better. Once you crushed it and leave it outside for a moment "Alison" is produced which is the active component that makes garlic so healthy. Also I would let it sit outside in warmth to get a fermentation starting. after 1-2 weeks the bubbling I usually store it in the fridge :-) Thanks for sharing this video!

      Fittbodies thats how youre supposed to do it. The allicin releases into the honey and you can take a big spoonful of the honey with the garlic clove to get that natural glucose and give you energy as well as give you the benefits of the garlic. Also, you should let it sit for more than just 3 days it only gets better and better. Its good for months and months so no need to worry about it.

    I have been eating raw garlic, from the start of my cycle until just after ovulation since November last year it is meant to help increase the chances of conception. I did conceive in January, but February 26th when I was 8 weeks I sadly had a missed miscarriage (babies heartbeat stopped)
    I am now on my 2nd cycle since miscarrying and now eating 2 raw cloves of garlic daily. I am wondering if eating 2 cloves a day with honey will still work. I am not doing what your doing, as my partner hates the smell of garlic as it is. But I will be trying raw garlic with honey tomorrow morning :)

    • @Fittbodies
      @Fittbodies  7 років тому +2

      Great questions Chad! I've eaten the garlic both on an empty stomach and with food, and in the morning and the evening. After experimenting, I personally found that I do better taking it at night after eating dinner. My stomach isn't empty, but it isn't super-full either. Some people get upset stomachs if they eat the garlic on an empty stomach. Eating it with food might be a good idea in that case. Other people feel like they smell more garlicky if they eat it in the morning. Experiment and find what works best for you. Best of luck!

    I don’t understand the method of letting the garlic sit in the jar of honey when you have to take it out and crush it, let it sit then eat it. What am I missing here? Why peal the cloves, submerse in honey, then have to take out and mince it up and leave sit for 5 min or so to oxidize? If it has to be minced up anyway, why not just mince the clove then add honey? Why all the extra mess with trying to mince sticky, messy cloves?

    • @Fittbodies
      @Fittbodies  6 років тому +2

      Haha! I see your point appleseed67jeep. The marinating in honey makes the garlic infused with the sweetness, just like if you marinate meat over time. It's definitely a personal taste thing, though, and benefits can be had with taking garlic alone or with a spoonful of honey. Also, with this method, one can use the garlic-infused honey in food preparation and get the garlic benefits as well as the delicious taste of both. Best of health to you!

      Unfortunately, plastic is metabolized by the body as xenoextrogens, or hormone disruptors. Food or liquid stored in plastic (or heated in plastic) has leached toxins in them. It's best to use glass, stainless steel, or ceramic to store your food and liquids. At the young age of 68, it is never too late to make simple changes for your health. Where should I store this mixture,in a refrigerator or in a normal temperature?

    • @Fittbodies
      @Fittbodies  6 років тому +1

      I've done both. Honey is a natural preservative, so unless it smells or tastes rancid, it's okay to leave it on the counter. I make it in small batches so I go through it rather quickly. The fridge makes the honey mixture stiff, but if you're okay with that (I like it that way sometimes) then go for it. So I guess that's a long way of saying, either way is okay. Thanks for the great question!

      Great question. I mostly crush my garlic and let it sit out for at least 15 minutes so that it releases an enzyme, alliinase, that catalyzes the formation of allicin, which then breaks down to form a variety of healthful organosulfur compounds. If chewed directly, you would get great benefits from garlic, such as its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, but not ALL the great stuff it has to offer.

However, in my opinion, the research that suggests garlic is beneficial far outweighs the negative articles. If you stick to 2-4 raw cloves a day, that would not be enough to build up to toxic levels.

I’ve been reading that the benefits is a hoax (thats why all the videos have computer voices) however, I keep on taking one spoon a day on an empty stomach because I’m actually feeling great lately.

    The recipe is honey, garlic and apple cider vinegar. Best way is to put all the ingredients in a blender, after put it in a jar. you take a tablespoon every morning on an empty stomach. I know someone that takes it in the Am and PM.

    Being kind of a lazy guy... I've been using the pre-chopped garlic in a jar and eating a spoonful in the AM and a spoonful in the PM following both with a spoon full of honey each time. I've been doing it for a year. Have I been short changing myself?

      I think it's just fine to do it that way. Embrace the "lazy guy" thing and do what works best for you! You're getting it done-- THAT'S what matters! Thanks for tuning in!

    Do you get body odor by eating garlic. Thanks

      Hi Eddie! Great question! Each person's body chemistry is different. I smelled of garlic the first two or three weeks, and then it went away. My body adjusted and now there's no hint of it, or so I've been told. :D Other people I've talked to say they've had to scale back their raw garlic intake, or switch to odorless garlic pills because the smell of garlic never went away. I suggest experimenting, starting with a small dose, one clove at most, and see how it goes. Increase to two cloves and wait and see again. Find out what works best for you. Thanks for tuning in!

    stop calling it your breast cancer. I use to say the same but ive learned there is power in the spoken word. just say breast cancer or (the) anything but my. Thanks for the tips ive been eating raw garlic off and on since 1997.I never knew I could swallow it or put it in honey. My ex and my mom hated the scent on me. maybe thats why hes my ex, which is good for me 😂😇💕

      Haha! Tough love. Thanks for setting me straight. Yes, there IS power in words. Glad you're a fan of garlic. There are plenty of people out there who don't mind the scent! :D

    Be careful the PH stays at 4.2 any higher you could possibly , but very unlikely, get botulism. So just add a bit of Apple cider vinegar to keep it at 4.2!
