Great vid. Love the gentle way you broached the subject of one being able to lay one’s head down to sleep - on the land which (in a just world) would be our birth right to use responsibly. You are a wonderful ambassador for all wild campers Catherine - thanks👍
Glad you liked it and thanks for the high praise Giles. It is just that isn't it; laying one's head down to sleep (or rest) for a short while before moving on across the land - just as humans have done for most of our history on earth.
Always a pleasure to watch your videos Catherine. I understand your thoughts and apprehension, but a stealth camp done responsibly (as with this one) can't possibly do any harm, I hope you continue to do many more! The following morning was a stunner! If only every morning could start like that!👍👍
Well you’re right Catherine. Nothing beats the dawn, nothing! Shame that couldn’t have had a more peaceful night, I was surprised at people out late in the dark!! But at least you managed to find somewhere for a Bivvy. And what a wonderful Sunrise, wonderful! I love pre dawn anywhere, it is a special time.
A beautiful misty morning and well worth the effort. I'm sure a thousand conscientious wild campers do less damage than one 'bad apple' visitor. atb. Hardy
A lovely relaxed video Catherine , looking for a camp spot is always an anxious time . But late in and early away was executed perfectly and the sunrise was just beautiful . TFS atb Dave 🌅⛺️👍
congrats on joining the feral campers! You will know you are really in trouble when you find yourself randomly surveying potential places to bed down in odd clumps of bushes! Fantastic sun rise footage.
Very much enjoyed that . Lovely footage and sincere presentation . A real credit and insight to why we love to wild camp in beautiful places . Take care 👍
It wud be real great if u cud show us the different gear u use. Do a video showing us ur gear and telling us about it. Those videos get alot of views and their fun!!
Hello Catherine. Really enjoyed watching this. Loved seeing the sunrise. I must say also that you must be the most well spoken person on UA-cam. I feel very common and northern in comparison 😆. Great to see you out with the camping gear again.
Hello! Glad you enjoyed it. I hate the sound of my own voice (where did that posh lady come from!) on the vids but decided just to go ahead and do a bit of chat. It makes for a better record of the walks. Despite how I sound I grew up in Tasmania and our family all came from the north of England - mostly around Stockton on Tees - there's a mix of accents for you! I'll probably relax into sounding a bit more Aussie over time. Also, one of the things I love about the UA-cam wild camping community is how it's people from all walks and all places, and hopefully always will be. Take care. x
Good going Catherine. You found a pitch in the end albeit super stealthy. Love that challenge though. And wow what a sunrise. It was incredible and magical for you. Worth the risk. And risk is what we do sometimes. The laws are an ass. Well, all the best out there. Mark

Agree with you there. Some parts of the country are just a bit more busy anyway - just have to work with that.
Well done on the 100 Subs!

Hello, where is this Hillfort? It looks a bit South Downs. Is that correct?
