Hey Andy ! Thanks to take the time to take us whit you to pull Tim out of soft spot . after my work i watching you guys . Thanks Andy Hourigan the great and have a good day.
Don’t comment often, but watch every video. Came from a farm back ground in Iowa retired now living in Florida. Appreciate you and your family, you are salt of the earth! All the best and God Bless. 🙏❤️🇺🇸
Gotta tell you Andy, it wasn't a very secure feeling having the manure spraying over the top like in the video. Started seeing little spots coming onto the screen and kept checking to see if they were on my side of the screen!! I laughed out loud when you said "I'd better stop in case something breaks--then we can get it on camera!" Reminds me of you planting the first time with the renovated planter--"have to plant right by a busy road to show everybody your mistakes...!!" You may have thought it was dull, but I enjoyed it-except the part where it felt like cow crap was flowing over my head! LOL!!
Just found out my cousin's son was on the team for FFA that won the Minnesota state championship in maintenance. And will be going to the nationals. Congratulations to all the state champions. And good luck.👏
Andy is clever, understatement, as most truck mounted tankers are a permanent mount, lacking the ability to tip the manure residual toward the rear pump, to properly empty the tank. 🗽🗽👌👌🚛🚛
Thanks for the video, you said a short video, in my opinion only 20-30 minutes give or take is the perfect size, thanks again, very enjoyable and informative
FYI Andy ... wife & I go'n on long overdue get-away nxt week ... I've been saving ur videos for the trip ... gonna NEED 2-hr videos each day !!! thanx n advance 😊
Great video Andy. What you have to do in the future is if a truck gets stuck get it pulled out and show it driving away without being pulled and on one will ever know ! 🤣
It's good to see things going smoothly for a few days. Did your uncle find a replacement chopper? God bless your family and crew. I pray you all work safe
Andy, it’s awesome to see you invest in the older iron. Many farmers today wouldn’t put $$$ into a 40 year old tractor with 36k hours, whereas you see it as a longer term investment into a tool for many years of future use.
Nice sunrise Andy… the coyotes are probably waiting to roll in the manure😂we always had coyotes come down from the Sandhills to roll in manure after we had spread it…then when we hunted that winter they would be ripe👀
Driving truck good change of view. I did some disking Friday for 6 hours and enjoyed it. My father does it all usually. I am getting a soft spot for a C5 every time I see that one.
NEVER ENDING JOB hauling cow fertilizer! Got a place for another lagoon Andy?? Tim’s kinda like me oh Sh-t what was I thinking!! Love the camera angle also, thick stuff. Thanks Andy and crew !! ,
Andy great video as allways! Im raised on the country side and study in the city and lived there for a few years untill i bought my place. I live now in a area where its mostly farmers. My experince being around farmers you guys are really helpfull even if you not really know the person that good! Farmer that live close to me he really likes to come and watch what im up to time to time and gives advice. And if i need some lifting force he dont mind to come with the wheelloader or tractor and give me a hand. Tryed to give him some money and offerd him an extra hand if he needs but he wont accept money. So sometimes I just throw some snacks and so on him cus i wont get him to accept gifts otherwise. So big respect and big thankyou to all farmers for all the work you put in to feed us regular people!
Is that a newer bumper on truck #14? I love the tow hook on the front! Makes life simple. Also I was searching out the FU Kenworth sticker and wanted to know what size you were looking for? Thanks for another great video!!
Old Tim always gets the shirty end of the stick 😆 Wonder how the sand bedding in the manure affects the soil conditions. Does it make the loam more Sandy over the years.
So Andy with the price of fertilizer going through the roof do the cost of spreading become more cost effective 🤔😂🤣😎 , there has to be some benefits some were in this crazy economy, it seems that ever bank , every communications company, and large retailer companies have record profits and farmers in every aspect are paying record amounts for anything they need to operate . Just thought I would rant a bit so don’t mind my disappointment in the costs that never seem to stabilize at any point in the agriculture sector. My hat is off to you and all your family and and work hands for staying in this sector of the economy, working long hours you don’t get much time other than Sundays to enjoy that Black ride you have , I’ll bet some of your neighbours may not have seen you driving it yet .
Hey Andy awesome content as always just outa curiosity do u guys have vacuum/pressure slurry tankers over there in America or just with the impellers? Over here in uk we use vacuum tankers awesome kits 👍 ps I think the word u where looking for to describe Tim was he was at a disadvantage 😉😉😉😉
That looks like good thick muck your spreading and will put a fair bit of NPK for the corn to grow on. Do you put much more in the way of fertiliser down when you drill on top of the manure
I used to spread a lot of chicken litter w a man I used to help, had a l9000 Ford 10 wheeler w a 18 foot bed I think it was. That truck was sent to gays I think tire in South ga for wheels and little lift I think to fit it w all ten military tires, kinda like front end loader tires, w the walking beam it had in back that truck surprised me at what all it would go thru, in 4th gear on the floor all day the m11 Cummins it had never tried to run warm either, which is good, but that was a tough ass truck
The floating agitator thoroughly mixes/blends solids/liquids, no need for any "grinders" & The pen-packed manure from dry cows & heifers goes in a conventional beater spreader. This in one of Andrew's favorite chores, would not want to disrupt that activity, Believe Alex may spread pen-pack as well.❓ The sand residue would not benefit from grinding. It is just dense, must be loaded w/ the Deere loader.
Have you ever tried a kinetic rope for pulling out stuck trucks? On the farm i worked on the owner was a little crazy. If the trucks were getting stuck he would just pull us around using the big tractor.
Hey Andy !
Thanks to take the time to take us whit you to pull Tim out of soft spot .

You might have taken the cake on the best manure spreading camera angle!!! Let it rain Andy! lol
View from under the poop shower was cinematic excellence for those of us who love all things farming. Thanks Andy.
Best regards from Indiana.
Good camera position under the raining cloud of manure.. lol Reminds me of listening in on the Jan 6 hearings.
Another enjoyable video.

I think he said it was the 11th of that model ever built. A hard working gem no doubt.

@@stevewesley8187 for now. The day is coming when the tree hugger folks will outlaw old iron. It's coming. Sad situation.

Yes we do
Good day on the farm👍
Good one once again Andy ,are the girls on vacation now?
No
I've heard of raining cats and dogs, but not manure. Very unique perspective. Andy, do you make bales or just chop everything?
They make big bales also.
I remember doing that. As soon as my uncle got done chopping 1 field I would start spreading till I got it all covered.
I used to spread a lot of chicken litter w a man I used to help, had a l9000 Ford 10 wheeler w a 18 foot bed I think it was. You use the dump cylinder to pickup the tank to run the rest of the manure out? That’s a nice plus to have.
Yes
Gees, how tall is that ledge where Tim got stuck?
Hi Andy - - Keep both hands on the steering wheel
Andy have you ever seen one of those grinders that liquify solid manure to go into your pit or lagoon? No more dry spreader is needed.
The floating agitator thoroughly mixes/blends solids/liquids, no need for any "grinders"
