After a little redneck ingenuity I was able to get my front bumper attached. Once again I highly recommend doing it the right way. But given my situation I did the job with what I had. If you want your front bumper attached correctly I recommend you take it to Asher Automotive in Bryan, Texas!

Welds are strong, its gonna hold up great. I wouldn't worry about that. People just be snobs when it comes to welding. The bumper looks great

Buy some "Back Too Black" for the grill. Works very well and would tie the truck better with the old plastic on the front.

Factory welded? Not once have I ever seen a “factory welded” bumper on these
The previous owner cut the frame rail to fit the grille guard so in order for me to get the new one on there with the proper hardware I would have had to weld a new one on.
