I have the Hohem (which replaced the Smooth 5) which I love, but I might have gotten this one instead. That 520g payload and hamdle are pretty enticing! I do prefer the way the Hohem AI tracker attaches and that the light is built into the tracker. I also love how the wheel controls the light. The Hohem Joy app is also a little better. It would be a close decision between these two.
I've had experience using different Scorp gimbals. They appeared to be well made and the controls settings were good... However there is one complaint that I have, It's common for me to put phone gimbal on a long monopod to capture images up high or down low. Be aware that the tail on the Scorp can block the phone's screen while doing that.
@@TheJourneySeekers If you are doing a crane like shot from your feet to above your head with a longer monopod attached, you may find the back of your phone/camera screen can be blocked by the scorpion tail. I'm guessing that if you have a camera body with a fully articulating monitor, that may not be a problem. The other issue is that the AI tracker only points forward. If you want to do selfies, you can, but with out a tracker. The Hohem MT2 is more portable and does not have the tail. I believe that the MT2 has a smaller pay load. If you're only using the gimbal for a phone only, the Hohem M6 may be your best bet. One last thing, Amazon will be having their Amazon Days Prime sale in about a week. You may get a better price if you wait. Good Luck
Hello, Simon Excellent video! Very well explained and detailed. I learned some command tricks and functions that I hadn't noticed before. Thank you! . In pan mode, have you noticed that sometimes it loses the horizon level when moving quickly and when you stabilize your hand the horizon line slowly returns? Sometimes I also noticed a slight upward tilt, even after calibrating.
Hi.Simon Does this Gimbal hold the Accesories like lens and usb Mic router easily. What in the case we are using Ultrawide on front selfie you think the extra Arm will come front of it.
Hi. If I don’t use the manufacturer’s app. What features would be usable on another app. Blackmagic for example. Will the gimbal integrate into the phones photo app as well? Cheers
yes: Mini P has better motors and a cool double grip. M6 has way better app and extra features like A - B movement, more user friendly ua-cam.com/video/QCg5sHXKPkE/v-deo.html

I haven't noticed that myself
I was looking for a gimbal, not a space centre!
