I just got one of these to do some irl streaming on twitch to mix it up, it's very awkward to use at first but I attribute that to never using a gimbal before. I'm super excited to make some videos with it too now. I've never been into making videos but you have inspired me ❤

The iPhone 16 Pro Max with the phone case weighs 295 grams. According to the OM6 specifications, it supports up to 290 grams. Would using it with the case cause any issues?

At the same time, i should recommend showing even negative signs also with some features that need to be add or upgrade in the Gimbal as per using expertise.
I bought this two days ago to use with my iPhone 15 pro max. I intended recording spatial videos (for VR) of my grandsons band (Stray Fox) at gigs. The Dji app seemed pretty good but doesn’t do spatial videos. So I did a couple in the native Apple app and the rest using the app as I like the tracking etc. however when I played the videos back today I realised the sound on the DJI app videos is truly awful, lots of treble and just much too noisy whereas the native Apple camera app the sound is as I’d expect. Anyone else had this problem or know a solution?
Hi, really love your tutorials, videos and vibes.. I have dji osmo 5 with galaxy10+, and every time the phone just has a life of its own and I have to center the gamble, is it because I move to fast? I see that it's very stable in your videos...pls help 😊
@@SiHorrocks thanks for answering... everything is checked and it's slow. The thing is when I turn left or right the phone on the gamble still moves to the direction after I stop moving. It happens to me as well on my om3, so I'm probably doing something wrong.
yes, just install the latest version. Connect to the gimbal and instal any firmware. The updates are basically the new active track 6.0 and some bug fixes

thank you! A pro max iphone is close to the limit of a small gimbal like om6. You can add a small lens (anamorphic) or filter. Tele lenses are probably too heavy. A lens + filter might be too much. Don't think a macro is appropriate for a gimbal which is all about movement. Moment anamorphic + case will be working at the limits of the gimbal
not this year. Maybe it's better they put more time into making sure the 7 is a really device, than rushing out something just because it's been a year
One very important issue to note, the DJI Mimo app is terrible. If you record in 4k/60fps the videos are flickering and shaky rendering them unusable. 1:32 You can record using your phone's camera app, but your zoom/focus button and start record button may not work. So you are basically forced to choose between quality and functionality.. For a 200 euro gymbal, kinda sucks right?
I understand that a new firmware version with active track 6 is now out (September 2023.) Sounds great but no one UA-cam is telling me how to update. Only telling me how good it is. Anyone of Simon’s friendly followers able to help me please?

Right, so easy part is buying the kit. The village idiot can do that. Do you, or do you know anyone who does training sessions, work shops with this kit. Too be honest because I am such a techno retard online training is not really for me. Anyhow, I’m back in Uk later in year would love to get a train session on this kit.
