    I'd just like to add the Blur is both based on the Flash and Marvel/Timely character the Whizzer who was there own speedster

    Since the Squadron Supreme is obviously new to you, you should check out their various iterations since they first appeared in 1971. J. Michael Straczynski did a brilliant version of them in the Supreme Power series from 2004.

      No mention of Mark Gruenwald's limited series?
      Or that DC created Heroes of Angor: Silver Sorceress, Blue Jay, Wandjina, Jack B Quick in response . (Sorry copy/pasted from Google). They sucked though and never really did anything of note. Their planet was destroyed by villains and only 3 of them survived.

      @@alancarnell2747 Grunewald's Squadron Supreme invented modern superhero deconstructionism; pre-Watchmen. Supreme Power is my favorite, though. Massive shame Marvel had to mess with it, so JMS quit without wrapping it up.
