    Enjoyed the series. Really difficult to diagnose a car with more than one problem. Oil change and (recommended) new spark plugs are important for a problem like that where fuel was being dumped into the engine. Great videos 👍

      Agree. In my experience, once the plugs are fouled that bad they are never the same.

      Thank you my friend. Maybe I didn’t mention but did replace spark plugs with new oil. Contaminated oil is often overlooked cause off rich condition .😊👍

      With my 2005 ford focus 2.0 I got a code to change my fuel pressure rail, and you didn't. It's be changed months ago but still having rich issues with no check engine light. I changed my PCV hose because it was cracked. The car started running great again but back to running rich again ugh.

    Excellent repair , it’s amazing how fuel in the oil can create havoc on your readings and engine. It was a good lesson in the repair with the extra strikes , now we all learned something new. Thank you for hanging in there , you appeared to be frustrated Lol 😂..also i hope the owner repair’s the i.a.c.v . Leak I’m sure his cats can’t afford any more crazy fuel issues , they will burn up soon and you will be making a video on the replacements.👍👍👍👍👍

      Thank you my friend. I did advise owner that cats are probably already damage but he decided to drive like this for now. We will see how long will last.😊👍

    Great case study Ramon! Some new plugs and an IAC and the customer will be back in business.

      Thank you my friend. Owner is more that happy. We will see how long cats will last after all that excessive fuel.😊👍

    Excellent job can you tell a little bit more about that egr leak not causing vacuum leak at idling

    • @kyhomegarage3430
      @kyhomegarage3430  2 роки тому

      To be honest I really don’t know but I do remember changing EGR valve on old Ford Bronco with smoke coming out of it and it didn’t change anything

      @@kyhomegarage3430 Thanks for answer, you mention that in video, but I thought maybe you got some more information. Love your channel and methodical explanation.

    Great case study Ramon. Thanks! I'm surprised there was never a code with that fuel pressure sensor.

    • @kyhomegarage3430
      @kyhomegarage3430  2 роки тому

      Good point PCM never flagged any codes related to fuel pressure.😊😊
