@@MorimotoLighting I'd like to see an apples to apples comparison though to the Type R headlights. This comparison is good info but that is for the regular halogen bulb headlights so it's really not a fair comparison for the Type R. Regardless I do like these new version Morimoto as they're much better than the previous and it's a fair price. I'm waiting to see more info on light output vs the Type R stock headlights.
I’m interested in buying these for my car but the only thing I’m worried about is the animation at night. Does the animation only work during day time or is there anything I could do with the light settings to have the animation work at night? Or will the animation work if I remotely unlock the car?
The animation will work during the day time only - it is a safety feature. When you turn on your headlights at night, you don't want to wait for light. You need light instantly, and that's how these operate.
I just got mines in and they haven’t been doing the start up, how does it work, I have the blue connected in, and I see the drl flows in but the headlights don’t slowly turn on like an animation??
Start-up works in auto daytime but if it’s auto nighttime, it will not do the fancy dancy! If you keep having issues, shoot us an email! benchmark@morimotolighting.com
Same issue here on my 2020 Sport! Red key installed. Also, height adjustment for aiming doesn’t seem to be making a difference. I turn the dial with a Philips and no adjustment. @MorimotoLighting please explain this auto daytime/auto nighttime animation a little more.
Are you planning to bring the White/Amber selectable DRL mode option to the rest of your XB headlights? I have an F150 and having to pick a permanent DRL color is the one thing splitting me between you guys and the Alpharex Nova series.
OMG How do we teach this companies to show actual light output rather than just saying how cool it is and how great they are?

Can you do a video comparing these to the new 10th gen headlights from AlphaRex? Specifically the black ones. Not alpha black.

where do you put the key once installed? Does it tuck in somewhere?
It's not a long wire by any means, you'll easily be able to tuck it behind the headlight with the rest of the wiring harness for a clean install.
My lights sit lower then should be. How do I level them ?
There is an adjuster on the back of the headlights! Check out page 12, steps 19 & 20 on the installation guide.
Are these significantly brighter than the v1? I don’t know if the v1’s look can be beat honestly only thing with the v1 is it’s not very bright.

Will there ever be an option to run Amber DRL and then when headlights turn on, it reverts to white?
No plans at the moment, however these do have a start-up sequence.
do these sell in Right Hand Drive configuration ?
These are not available for RHD vehicles.
