Thanks for these videos they’re brilliant. I’ve just developed thrombophlebitis with the soreness, swelling and discolouration. As 83 YO female this is new complaint for me 🙄. Your vids help me to understand and manage this and why I’m having ultrasound tomorrow. Regards and many thanks please keep them coming. I’ve subscribed
You don’t need to manage it. Venous insufficiency can now be cured.

Thank you so much ❤
Detailed clinical examination in standing position is very valuable in judging the location of reflux and helps in proper Dopper ultrasound evaluation.
I had varicose vain surgery around 10 years ago. Over the last 6-12 months they have returned and are worse now than before. I read online that new treatments are now available for varicose vains, that are better and do not involve surgery.
I scheduled an appointment with my doctor today and he told me bluntly that varicose vain treatment is no longer available on the NHS! I'm furious.
I am on my feet all day with my job, and my legs ache so much! How can the NHS cut back on funding for this!?
Thanks ! 🤩
brilliant
Thank you for this high yield content. Please if i may request to do a video about varicocele since it's somewhat similar including all the etiologies and management. It's hard finding a medical channel discussing this subject even though it's common.
I'll do one for varicoceles!
@@ZeroToFinals thank you so much, looking forward to it 😊

What with heart surgery the veins are removed in legs what happens to valves
It was so good that Im gonna cry!
hope I do well tomorrow at my vascular surgery exam🤞
How was your exam?
@@mouradimabsout847 went super good. Thanks for asking🙏
Which doctor to consult? Orthopedic?
Is there complications of vein treatments? And then what happens to the vein once radio frequency has been used? does it just sit in the body?
If stripping is used the vein is removed the other 2 options the véin is destroyed internally and the body processes the dead vein
@@mrmc2465 have you had radio frequency done? Does it really work? And is it safe? I know it’s a microwave device that burns the vein. Between that one and the glue, which one actually works?
@@mrmc2465vein stripping is old news and no longer done.
@@Texasgirl2023I have had EVLT together with Transluminal Occlusion of Perforators, followed by the necessary eight week gap with Ultrasound Foam Guided Sclerotherapy. Best money I ever spent and have looked back since 2018.
@@eveoakley6270 Why isn't it done? I'm getting mine in 3 months...
Seclotherapy best treatment.
How can I remove venous vine from my foot
Thank you for your video but it doesn't say why? Why can't you just repair the valve that has become incompetent . What is the benefit of repairing varicose veins? Is it just for appearance?
The superficial varicose veins have stopped functioning, so they are often removed.
Left untreated they can cause a DVT at worst and discomfort and/or bad appearance at best.
I have a appointment in two weeks, I have a pooled vericose vein in my left leg, and spider veins. I have always had restless legs and sore feet. I think alot of my issues is related. Wish me luck!
I had same issue
Good luck
Iam a very cos vain disease patent. My two legs vain very serious problem.
это отличное приложение, и оно мне нравится
I have vericose veins. How do I contact you? staying in indai karnnataka

I have varicose veins how I will contact to you please reply
He's teaching a curriculum, not treating patients!

i see all those treatments getting rid of those veins. I see visual improvement but you did get rid of those veins afterall. Nobody talk what happens to your body afterwards and that's interesting too. I would like to think that's fairly big loss no?
I underwent EVLT together with TRLOP and Ultrasound Foam Guided Sclerotherapy in 2018 at a so vein clinic in London on my GSV, SSV and four incompetent perforators. Was the best money I ever spent and I haven’t looked back. Nothing happened to my body.
Mine was caused through a long misdiagnosed DVT caused through the contraceptive pill. I was an extremely slim, fit and healthy runner and still am.

Varicose veins can now be cured.
How?
@@samzone6241 look up Professor Whiteley at The Whiteley Clinic and The Whiteley Protocol. I had EVLT, TRLOP (necessary for small incompetent perforators) and Ultrasound Guided Foam Sclerotherapy, after suffering eight solid years with leg ulcers on my left leg. I’m from England and the NHS just managed them for all that time. I had to refer myself to this clinic once I realised I could be helped. I haven’t looked back since 2018 and was the best money I ever spent.
Incidentally, there is now a more up to date procedure available that has replaced EVLT, called Echotherapy which is completely non-invasive.
@@eveoakley6270… Thanks for this information. Very much appreciated.

In this and another of your videos, you start out stating "I will be going through" health issue _x_ . You poor, poor man -- you need to find a good doctor to help you with all these terrible afflictions waylaying you while trying to create content!!
Also I may have to claim a royalty for using my likeness each time you mention obesity as the fellow in the red chair clearly is myself. Please remind your artist at least that I do have hands.
In all seriousness, although I am not a med student, I find your videos concise, clear and enlightening to the layman on health matters we often hear about that are sometimes not well explained.
Haha. 😅
