    I am 62 & have nothing to do with medical profession, YET like a mad person, I am finding myself always glued to your videos whenever I happen to be on UA-cam.
    SAM either I have gone mad or you have simply made learning human anatomy so interesting & simple that words fall short of describing the mesmerizing experience and joy one drives watching your wonderful stuff & style of explaining.
    I m sure all medical students would be thanking you in their hearts of hearts for making the subject so interesting.
    Anyone, who stumbles upon your video even accidentally, I am sure wouldn't be able to leave even a single of your videos unwatched.
    My humble regards Mr Sam to you for serving medical community, as also the ordinary men & women on this planet with your wonderful stuff coupled with down-to-earth style.

      Lovely Video! Apologies for chiming in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you thought about - Trentvorty Silken Legs Theorem (search on google)? It is a great one off product for getting rid of varicose veins minus the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend finally got amazing results with it.

    Thank you! My significant other has severe DVTs, CVI, and PEs
    The Dr just said nothing can be done to help the deep veins so now what... that is where the problems are. Valves not working, 😪

    • @TomA-i4p
      @TomA-i4p Рік тому

      Usually cvi doesn't Nessaarly result in a dvt. Now if he had a dvt it can lead to cvi because the clots damage the valve's. When did the clots first start? Compression socks are usually the preferred treatment. Is the cvi severe?

    @samwebster YOUR VIDEOS ARE GOLD!! At the 11th minute you explain the fomation of varicose veins. You mention blood going down the leg therefore putting pressure on the valves, stretching the veins and resulting in disfunctional valves. I was under the impression that blood runs upwards in the veins. Can you explain please?? And is there a way to influence the stretched veins and deformed valves back into place hence correcting the varicose problem?? Thank you so much in advance!! Keep up the amazing work!

    • @SamWebster
      @SamWebster  4 роки тому +2

      You're right, blood does run upwards in the veins in the legs, that is, from the toes towards the torso, but the weight of that column of blood on the valve means it pushes back, downwards onto the valves. I don't know of a way of repairing those valves and veins.

    I have a question, I got an ultrasound to detect DVT, nothing was found, but they only viewed the inside of my left leg, not on the outside, is it possible or probable that I could have a blood clot on the outside of my left calf? There is not much pain, but there is a little

    Hi. Really nice videos. Please don't wear the mic thos way. It adds a lot of unwanted sounds which disturbs in listening. Just a kind suggestion. You can always ignore. Because difficult to hear with a hand free. Thanks
